How to change a size of the image grid fluid div

I am new to Dreamweaver and the design of web sites in general I am limited in CSS and HTML coding but I am learning.  I use the fluid grid in Dreamweaver CS6 but experience a problem to change the size of the image to reduce its size for mobile display only.  I unfortunately have anything online as I'm just trying to understand the things before you go ahead and build my site.  I hope that this will be a simple answer, I'm just completely missing.  I did a test with CSS and I changed the img to display: block and then change the width and the height at different percentages... makes look aweful views DW but was great in all browsers except Safari seen as DW... very distorted.  The other option, I am currently looking is just to take the image out of the mobile display by display: none.  It works but not my preferred option.  A point in the right direction would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance,

Mike

Try this: it will limit your logo and img to no more than this is the original size.

#logo {}

Clear: both;

float: left;

left margin: 0;

Max-width: 100%;

display: block;

}

#logo img {}

display: block;

margin-right: auto;

left margin: auto;

Max-width: 100%;

}

Otherwise, it appears as expected.  Have you tested in a real smartphone yet?

    Hi kimhealy

    You have set display up-to-date drivers installed?

    Method 1:

    Step 1 :
    To resolve the problem, you can check if uninstalling and reinstalling then the display driver allows.
    Also check if you have any exclamation point or cross the marks on the sides of display devices listed in Device Manager.

    a. click Startand then click Control Panel.

    b. click system and Maintenance, click Systemand then click on Device Manager.
    Note If Control Panel is in Classic view, double-click System, and then click Device Manager.
    If you are prompted for an administrator password or a confirmation, type the password, or click allow.

    c. in the Manager device, expand display driver, display devices, right-click and then click on Properties and on the driver tab, click Uninstall.

    d. When you are prompted to confirm that you want to remove the device, click OK.

    e. restart the computer.

    After the computer restarts, the drivers will be installed automatically.

    Step 2:

    If the problem persists I suggest you to check if you install the latest updated driver on the manufacturer's Web site to help you.

    There is no way to do it with just Muse. You will need to write a custom for this widget. I'm not aware of all this, but you can check at www.musewidgets.com and see. You can also contact some of the developers as MuseGrid, Quooqee or Muse-topics and offer this kind of Gallery for a future widget.

  • Photoshop CS6: Change the default resolution for the 'Document size' in the Image Size dialog box?

    I have a Canon EOS 40 d, Photoshop CS6 and Adobe Bridge CS6.  I shot everything in RAW.

    When it's time to change the images, I start by opening in RAW using Adobe Bridge.  When I finished to make adjustments, I click the button open an Image that contains the image to Photoshop.  When I put them to the top of the dialog box size of the Image, the size of the Document is still 240 DPI.

    Is it possible to change this default?  If so, how?

  • Change the size of the image, no res

    Hello

    How can I change the size of an image in Photoshop without changing the resolution?

    My original image is 300 res, I lowered to 72, and it decreased the size.

    I want to keep to 72, but expand.

    Also be involved; How can I make 1000 pixels or more on the long side (of the image)?

    Thank you

    If you want that the print size to change without changing the actual size of the image, uncheck resampling and enter the desired size of your image to print - say 5 "impression rather than 3". This will change the dpi, because both are related to the sizing non-re-sampled. If you want to keep the 3 "which was 300, but you want it to 72, then click on resample and change the resolution to 72, but this will change the actual pixels of your image dimensions.

    To make 1000px, select resample and pixels in the drop-down list and enter 1000 for the long side.

  • Size of the image changes when you move an image between Lightroom and CC.

    Size of the image changes when you move an image between Lightroom and CC.

    I opened a .dng image in LR and then opened it in the develop module.  I clicked on Crop Overlay and then on the "As Shot" (the lock is closed) menu drop-down and cropped to 11 x 17 and click 'Done '-.

    I click Ctrl-E and the image opens in the CC.  I click on the Image > Image size and the size of the Image is 13,288 inches on 20,533.

    Why change the size of the image?

    I believe that there is a menu to control the size of the image, and I've looked everywhere I see in LR and CC, I have googled various descriptions and I checked both Kelby books, but I can't understand not just how to keep the image at a uniform height when moving between LR and CC.

    Help!... Please?

    The size of the image has not changed. The number of pixels has not changed. Let me tell you. The number of pixels has not changed to a single pixel.

    The numbers relatively meaningless displayed by your software have changed.

    The image is always format 11 x 17 (17 divided by 11 = 1.545 and 20.533 divided by 13.288 = 1.545)

    That's the zoom buttons enlarge and reduce the size of the content?

    By default, the enlargement options:

    1.1 => 110%
    1.2 => 120%
    1.33 => 133%
    1.5 => 150%
    1.7 => 170%
    2 => 200%
    2.4 => 240%

    .8 => 80%
    .67 => 67%
    .5 => 50%
    .3 => 30%

    To add or change these steps, you can modify the list in Firefox about: config preferences editor. Here's how:

    (1) in a new tab, type or paste Subject: config in the address bar and press ENTER. Click on the button promising to be careful.

    (2) in the search box that appears above the list, type or paste the zoom and make a break while the list is filtered

    (3) double-click the preference toolkit.zoomManager.zoomValues and edit it as you wish. Since it's a little difficult to read, you can copy it to a word processor or another program where you can zoom text, modify it, and then copy the revised version.

  • canvas size changes with the size of the image

    I am just placing several small pictures on a postcard.  When I go to change the size of the image, it narrows the whole canvas.

    Is there some sort of setting I need to uncheck?  I don't do anything with the size of the canvas.  I want it to stay the same.

    Thank you

    As nickna12 said, if the resolution of the picture you want to insert in the model is less than the resolution of the model, it will be re-size to fit the resolution of the new location.

    To insert images without having to worry about the size or resolution: insert images into the postcard file, each on a separate layer and transform each layer in dynamic object (right click on the layer containing each picture and select convert to smart object). In this way, you can resize images from top to bottom and upward once again without worrying about degrading image quality.  On each layer, use the recommended that Noel command (Edit - transform - scale or Edit - free transform) to re - scale each image as you wish. You can use the move tool (black arrow) to move each image in place.

    If you want to "away from the cultures' parts of the inserted picture, you can do so with a layer mask.  One way to do that is:

    • Select the layer with the image that you want to "crop".
    • Add a layer mask: layer - layer mask - reveal all the (adds a layer mask filled with white, so that you can always see your image)
    • Select the layer mask in the layers panel
    • Use a tool like the rectangular selection tool to select the part of your image that you wish to be visible.
    • Invert the selection: Select - Inverse. This selects everything except the part of the image you want to remain visible.
    • Fill the selection with black to hide it away: Edit - fill - (select black as the fill color)
    • Get rid of the selection: select - deselect

    You can use the move tool to move your image hidden anywhere you want on your postcard.  If you decide you want it is larger or smaller, you can use the Edit - Transform command to resize it, rotate, etc.

    In Photoshop, there are always several ways to accomplish tasks, and there may be better ways to achieve this way

  • Change the size of the image

    When you try to send large images by e-mail, he advises that e-mail is very large, enamel will be sitting in the Outbox before moving on to air currents and so I am unable to send e-mail to the new recipient.

    I tried to compress the file zipping it but the size of the image is the same.

    Is there another solution to resize image on the surface RT?

    If you right click on an image or a sound file, you can see the size under properties. Resizing of until you try to send. There are many programs that can do this. I use to resize the pictures as soon as I download from my camera. A very simple freeware program.

  • How to adjust the size of the canvas to the size of the image

    Ok... Elements frustrates me and if anyone can help I would appriciate it.  I have a pano I asked elements to create from 2 JPEG images.  He did a wonderful job.  After that I've cropped on the areas that I didn't, I now have an image smaller than the drawing area.  Now, I want to resize the drawing to the size of the image area.  Is there an easy way to do this?  I know that I can make adjustments of thin cloth (width and height) over and over again and even more until it corresponds to the image, but that takes so long and is so frustrating.  Is there a button that simply resizes the canvas to the image?

    Any help would be appreciated.

  • Adjust the size of the image in first pro

    I try to include a picture in the beginning of my video, but as I put the photo in the timeline it becomes big, and so he only discovers a zoom in a part of the image.

    The size of the image is 5312 x 2988. File size 4.37 MB

    Howe do?

    Hi Sam,

    As your sequence settings do not match the resolution of the image, it was enlarged. You will need to put the image down to match the size of the sequence. You can either "Scale image size" or manually change the scale in the effect controls panel.

  • Loss of the size of the image when exporting .tif

    I have a series of .tif images that have original dimensions of ~ 4700 x 4700. However, when I open them in illustrator, they invariably under ~ 1750 x 1750. TIF, even if no changes have been made. How to preserve the size of the image?

    Lol Illustrator will always respect the resolution setting. You will need to put the image in Illustrator, if you want to keep the resolution.

  • Opening files jpg as raw... size of the image

    My desktop color correct thousands of images per day for newsprint. These come in mainly sub form of files jpg and some eps targets. Most of them need a lot of work in color correction, and I found that the jpg with the dialog box open THOUGHT and tweaking them it can be a huge time saver (a menu with a bunch of sliders, against the opening of the curves, shadow light, hue/sat, color balance, etc.)

    However! There are two things that prevent us from using the opportunity to open jpg files and using the raw dialog box:

    1. size of the image. It is images of several clients who need us to preserve their original image size and dpi, whatever it is. Other customers want to keep us the width/height and rasample the image to 200 dpi. (example: take this 3 x 5 "@ 956dpi and make 3 x 5" @ 200 dpi) If I open one of their images in raw, I don't know what the original width/height were because the file has been resized to what I used on the last image. I noticed defaults to 240. The changes of dpi original jpg with each image we get. Is it possible to do the first dialog does not change the size of the image? Which brings me to...

    2. once I opened a jpg using the raw dialog box it will always open in raw (always change the size of the image.) If I want to just open my jpg as an ordinary image in photoshop, I have to go in camera raw preferences and turn off the ability to use raw to jpg. Is there a faster way to ignore the parameters of raw on a jpg, once it has been changed as raw?

    That is why we do not believe, even if it would be a huge advantage for us to be able to make these color corrections. If anyone has any ideas how to get around this, or even an easier workflow, I would appreciate it!

    # 1, if you look at the image in Bridge, you can note the dimensions and the resolution... then you put this same resolution resolution of the cab.

    # 2, none... as you note the preference of ACR, control or not Camera Raw will serve to open the image. You can use the SHIFT key by double clicking in Bridge to open the image directly into Photoshop and bypass ACR dlog, but Camera Raw will still be used if it is set to be used in the preferences...

    You will need to keep your image resizing in Photoshop because Camera Raw is not designed to do this kind of resize/resampling...it's designed initially as a raw processor and more later added the ability to open and process the camera JPEG and TIFF. Put those kind of controls in Camera Raw would not make sense since the end result of an open in Camera Raw image is supposed to be an image processed and opened in Photoshop. So, what you are wanting is really outside the scope of the concept of development... I'm sorry.
