How to change the IP address...

I have a Samsung printer that is connected to the network via ethernet to my WRT150N cable.  However, the printer says IP address conflict, and I finally understood why the printer does not appear on the other computers, the IP address of the printer itself is192.168.1.104.  However, the router has the printer listed to 192.168.1.103 so my question is how do I go about changing the IP address, either in the printer or router.  The 192.168.1.104 is already listed in the router as an IP address for my daughter's iTouch.  Thanks much for any help you can provide...

Fixed use booking of DHCP on the router in order to reserve an IP address for your printer via the web interface of the router at http://192.168.1.1/ see the manual (available online) for more details.

How can I change the ip address that windows searches for what concerns my printer wireless?

My printer continues to change its ip address that is to say yesterday that the address is 192.168.0.2 and now it's 102.168.0.5, and whenever he does, windows does not include only and that he keeps trying to print address ip to wring the origin install me the printer as a new one from the new ip address give me two of the same printers when I watch devices and printers.
I would like to know just how to change the ip address that is referenced to the printer rather than install them separately as a new printer.
    Any ideas would be appreciated.

I always prefer to set a static IP address for the network printers to avoid this kind of problem.   Depending on the brand of printer, this can be done by using the printers Panel (see networking options in the menus), or there may be a web interface, you can open in a browser.  Assigned address must be in the correct subnet but outside the DHCP in your router address.  Once assigned, specify this address in the settings of the printer on each workstation.
You have not given any information re. the printer or your network and router model, so I can't be more specific than that, but it's the best general solution of this question.

  • How to change the email address when distributing a form

    Hey there,

I made a form with acrobat 9 pro to insert an email address of the person wil receive the reactions made by our members. The problem is that this email address is incorrect, so I need to change that. I can't find where to change it.

Can someone give me a clue.

    Thank you.

    Ralph mol

I had the same problem and only found the solution after trying all the incorrect answers above.  Please people, do not assume that we all have a copy of LiveCycle. (Yes, this is the Forum of LIveCycle, but it is a question of basic shape distribution. Perhaps the discussion should be moved?)

It is a problem that wil happen when a person creates a form distributed to someone else, as when the techie person at the office turns a paper form in a form to fill out for the administrative staff of the Ludditte.  Or when only one person in an office has a copy of Adobe Pro 9 or 10, often only because they bought the entire suite for other tasks of the job (web edition, etc.).

Acrobat Pro assumes that the author of the form is the same person the form by e-mail when it is filled.  It's a stupid assumption, but there you go.  The form e-mail address is sent to is based on "the identity of the Acrobat Pro user".  On an Apple, you must go to Preferences, then select identity from the laundry on the left side list. Temporarily change the identity information to the person you want to have the completed forms returned to.  Once you have done so, you can go back to the original shape, step through the wizard of "Disseminating the form" and then publish or distribute this new version.

When this is done, insist that everyone who might need to create a form in the future obtain their own personal copy of Acrobat Pro and learn how to create a form themselves. ;-)  Also, be sure to change the identity return information.

  • How to change the IP address of the gateway from the printer

Try to set up the connection on my Officejet 6500 wireless wireless

When you work through the configuration, the utility says:

The gateway 0.0.0.0 the printer IP address does not match your router.  Reconfigure the setting on your printer to function.

How to do that.  I can't find any mechanism.

I don't have Norton firewall and race some of the utilities [HP printer] (when I try to troubleshoot) complains, but I've now disabled with no luck re-configuring/installing the connection Wireless to the printer.

    Wireless PC (VistA) 10.0.1.4 address

    printer 10.0.1.198

    default gateway must be 10.0.1.1

    Primary DNS is 10.0.1.1

network is built onb Airport Extreme, to the cable modem.

    Thank you

It seems that your printer is connected wireless to your router (the IP address of 10.0.1.198 seems valid).

Your best bet is to set a static IP address for the printer and the gateway at the same time.  Here's how:

-Print a the front of the printer Network Setup Page. Note the IP address of the printer.
-Enter the IP address in a browser to reveal the internal settings of the printer.
-Choose the network tab, then wireless along the left side, then on the IPv4 tab.
-On this screen, you want to set a manual IP address.  Enter the current IP address.
-Apply the subnet 255.255.255.0 (unless you know it's different, if so, use it)
-Let the gateway and DNS white.  This should take care of the error you get.

    -Click 'apply '.

Now, stop the router and printer, start the router, wait, and then start printing.

After that, you will have to redo 'Add printer' using the new IP address.

  • Are there problems with changing the IP address of a system of v5.3 ACS after the initial Setup?

I'm migrating from ACS v4.2.1 to v5.3.  I want the final v5.3 system to assume the IP address of the machine 4.2 of origin so I don't have to change any configs on network devices.

Are there problems with the change of the IP address of the system AFTER the initial installation v5.3?

I tried without problem. I changed the ip address of the WLC several times.

    You must ensure that:

1-) you change the switchport accordingly to the appropriate vlan if the new ip address belongs to a subnet of a vlan different.

2-) make sure that all clients AAA configured to use the new IP address of the ACS servers.

Here is the procedure how to change the ip address of the interface (according to the doc of cisco):

    http://goo.GL/0BYqVT

I also changed parIP normal address and it works. but of course, the server must be autonomous before doing this step (i.e. no secondary ACSS registered to him and he is not on the other ACSS in a distributoin).

  • Manually change the MAC address

    Hello

a client needs to keep the same MAC address for a virtual computer in its vCenter to import into his org in vCD.

Because this server has an application and that its license is tied to the MAC address, they must keep the original MAC address. I know that I can make this request on vCenter, but not through vCD.

Is there some sort of workaround?

    Thank you.

Maybe you can try to do it with PowerCLI.

Here's a thread where he describes how to change the MAC address of a computer virtual via PowerCLI. I hope this helps.
