  In Windows Vista Windows Picture and Fax Viewer has been replaced by the Windows Photo Gallery and there was an option to set the brightness, contrast, etc by using the Fix as you said.

  Unfortunately, this option is not available with the Windows Photo Viewer in Windows 7.

  What do you mean pass settings mute and lock? Are you referring to the similar setting on the iPad? If so, which is not available on the iPhone. The "secret" key is on the side of the phone. To set the Orientation lock, you swipe up on the control center and the icon is the last one on the top row, with the lock in the Center. White is turned on, black is off.
