How to change time zone on 8, the calendar application windows

I installed Windows 8 and the value of my pc time zone to the EAST, but the Windows 8 calendar application displays PST.  How can I change the time zone on the calendar in windows application 8?

Thank you for your review, but a few weeks ago I received updates of Windows 8 and the problem was solved by itself. I appreciate your time...

  • How to change time zone in VCSA 5.5?

    Hello

    I installed VCSA 5.5 of the FVO. By default, it has been configured to the UTC time zone. • How to change time zone on VMHost

    Hey all

    I'm running out of ideas, doesn't know it's so hard to find how configure/update the time zone on the ESX host using powercli

    Thanks for your advice much appreciated!

    Cheers, Rafael

    You can specify the name of the $vmhost instead of the real object, which is called the characteristic of the object by name (OBN).

    The problem is that the $host variable is an internal variable used by PowerShell.

    Choose a different name for the variable, and it will work.

  • How to configure time zone information in the failover database

    Hello:

    I'm confused on what to do with a failover system time zone information. Here's the situation:

    My application has tables with timestamp columns. When the application wants to update a record he questions the recording (and part of the record is the time it has been updated), changes the record and trying to engage. If the user spends an hour of last updated with it's update request. A stored procedure will check the current value of the lastUpdateTime of this record by doing a query on this line and compare this value with the one that the user provided in the update request.

    Given that the installer, if my failover database is in a different time zone and traffic is automatically routed to the backup site, these comparisons are going to fail? They will fail only depending on whether I'm using CURRENT_TIMESTAMP vs SYSTIMESTAMP? No matter if the column is of type Timestamp which factors in the zone or not? Do I need to have both systems to be set to the same time zone (UTC, for example)? I'm afraid that even if I record it without time zone info, Oracle will try and automatically transform the time somehow. Perhaps my concern is not justified.

    Thank you.

    Here is the difference

    The current_timestamp function returns the date and time in the current time zone of the SQL session as prepared by the ALTER SESSION command. It returns a value of TIMESTAMP WITH time ZONE SCHEDULE.

    The systimestamp function returns the date current system and time (including fractions of a second and the time zone) on your local database.

    If your application needs to update by using the time zone of the date.

  • Problem change time zones

    Why pre schedule changing time zones automatically when you travel across the country?  It's very frustrating!  If I'm in Los Angeles Monday and spread the word of a meeting in New York at 12:00 (noon) Wednesday, I just want to put the meeting in my diary for Wednesday at noon. But after traveling across the country, my appointment for Wednesday has moved before 3 hours on my calendar because he thinks that I had the meeting scheduled for 12:00 WEST COAST TIME. Today's meeting shows a 15:00 start time. If I change time zone once again, the meeting on my calendar moves again to reflect the change. My old Palm trees did not do that.  The iphone does not.  I think it's just too ask us to perform calculations of zone in our heads before entering appointments.  PLEASE SOLVE THIS PROBLEM AS SOON AS POSSIBLE.

    DeltaDog

    This feature can be disabled if the zone will not be updated but the time will be even.

    If you open your launcher and then look for a date and time (normally on the 3rd page). Once in here turn off "network time zone" in this way the zone will not update when traveling anywhere.

  • Enter the changed time zone time schedule system?

    Hi all

    In Lightroom 1.4, change time system in Windows XP changes the capture time!

    It sounds crazy... I take photos in different time zones and have the camera well positioned in this time zone (or adjust it to be correct in Lightroom). I wouldn't rather my zone schedule system "Bangkok" to see correctly the data for the pictures of Thailand.

    Someone at - it solution or workaround? What is this problem fixed in LR 2?

    Thank you!

    Alex

    Yes, corrected in the current version.

  • change time zone

    I recently moved to Europe with my Airport extreme router.  I had it set to the time zone IS in the USA.  Yesterday, I put the schedule on the network to block WIFI durning the night time.  We are 6 hours in front of the USA (EST).  Thus, the WIFI didn't work all morning, and at 12:00, it launched on!  Not what I wanted.  I had initially put down to 22:00 and turn it back on at 06:00.  It must have exploded about six hours later and did not come until noon.  I fixed it by setting my time of 6 hours.  I can't find a way to update my Airport Extreme and set the time to a correct time, or update the correct time zone.  Will this be updated one day and then leave me with the bad weather again?

    I read that you used to be able to set the time or the time zone, but some update in the past has changed, and it is no longer possible.  So, what do you do if you move to a new time zone?  I know that it probably affects a small amount of users.  Is it possible to see what the time is actually set on the Airport Extreme?  I'm still scratching my head about it.  I appreciate all help.

    Will this be updated one day and then leave me with the bad weather again?

    Yes, it will be.  6-8 weeks or so is about average for AirPort Extreme know where it really is.  The Apple servers automatically updated things... no controls for this user.

    If your Mac has right now, some users have reported that the reset of the router airport back to settings by default and then set up again has updated the time parameters for them. This has never worked when I tried well.

  • BlackBerry Z10 change time zone in one place.

    My BB Z10 automatically changed time zones so that I don't have.   I live in MST time zone, and I travel to the United States in CST time zone.

    While the CST - and not move not, my BB is evolving at EST time zones.

    Only a problem when I put the alarms and time zone changes - mess really my day upwards.   I guess that I could turn off the automatic time zone option - I wanted just to see if anyone else has this problem.

    PS I you LOVE my BB - is a user since the first BB...

    My suspicion is, as says @keithbergoff , it's a mistake not to the device and network.

    For what it's worth, I see this from time to time. Sometimes it's once, sometimes several times. I have a colleague who almost missed a flight for this reason, when his clock iPhone turned back an hour.

    My advice is set your BlackBerry to get to change the time zone. It will be only a drawback when you travel and, as you say, will prevent the change of time zone and you will not be aware.

  • I just noticed that I have a unable to change time zone or time.

    Windows 7 Edition home premium.  I just noticed that I have a unable to change time zone or time. He said my time zone is recognized word, but there is no choice.  If I try to change the time numbers can be changes, but the "OK" button remains grayed out.  The clock time does stay interent.  Several months ago, I know it was working.  I tried to start in safe mode, but no change, I ran? scannow which found nothing wrong.  I tried Windows difficulty who finds nothing wrong.  Any ideas?

    Thanks in advance

  • vCenter 5.5 cannot change time zone

    Have recently updated my environment at 5.5 - everything was going pretty well, until I looked into the vSphere Web Client that shows an inventory completely empty.  vSphere Client is fine.

    As I said that the upgrade went without a hitch, talk to a colleague he asked me to check the time parameters for the hosts and vcenter.  Hosts were very good.  However, vCenter device is blocked on UTC.  (I am GMT) so there is difference of 1 hour, thought I had cracked, but for some reason, I can't change the time zone in the apparatus of 5.5.  Hitting enter doesn't change time zone screen connected via SSH to change the file that I did, it's still showing as UTC.

    Someone else came across this little foible?

    It's OK I fixed it with this KB - KB VMware: time zone setting ESX host correct time zone is GB.

  • How to calculate time zones

    I have a simple clock that shows the current time using the GET. Time control. My problem is the following. I am in the Central time zone. In order to calculate Pacific time subtract 2 hours of hours as follows
    "hours = mydate.getHours () - 2; So, if it's 2:00 central it is 12:00 in the Pacific. Do my method will show it's midnight when it is not. How can I fix? Thanks in advance. Here is my code. I hope that with a correction, I can do the same for other time zones.
    Join the Code

    MyDate = new Date();
    seconds = mydate.getSeconds ();
    minutes = mydate.getMinutes ();
    hours = mydate.getHours () - 2;
    day = mydate.getDay ();

    month = mydate.getMonth ();
    year = mydate.getFullYear ();

    } else {}
    AMPM = "AM";
    }
    If (hours == 0) {}
    hours = 12;
    }
    If (minutes < 10) {}
    minutes = '0' + minutes;

    }
    time = ((hours) + ': ' + (minutes) + ': ' + (second) + "" + (ampm));
    datefinal = ((day) + "" + (date) + "" + (month) + "" + (year));

    Answer found. All I had to do was make an hours greater than or equal to 12, see code below.

    9 line u need to write in your code
    If (hours > = 12) {}
    hours: 12 hours;
    AMPM = 'H ';
    }

  • Necessary to define the database time zone differs from the OS

    We have a database of who currently resides in New York. Let's move to another server that resides in London. This is a problem, because each date which is currently in the time base is New York time, but after the move, all the new data that created time will always be time to London. We do not want users to have to remind any date preceding the date of move, will idle 5 hours if we would like to do is to have the database always on time in New York despite the BONE being London time. The server will be shared with other applications for the operating system time zone will have to remain with London time. The database will only have data for our application. So is there a setting of database that we can use to set the time zone database is different from the operating system time zone? The database is currently 10 GB but is promoted as part of the move to 11 g.

    What is the data type of the column? If the date or timestamp, then there is no time zone stored with the data. If timestamp with time zone, then the time zone of the data remains the same regardless of the time zone database and operating systems.
