How to change WPA to WEP on Equium P300-16 t

Have you had problems with wireless disconnect from time to time since getting this Equium P300-16 t, I assumed it was my network until friends were round to use it without problem while I keep get disconnected.

I called support and they say to changed the security from WPA to WEP, I phoned Virgin and they say that they don't support, try to change the Netgear but then I could not connect at all.

Couple of questions, what is different in this laptop that say laptops that need WEP security and I need to change the settings of the laptop?

I recommend you not to change your wlan encryption method that WEP is pretty damaged.

What you might try is to upgrade to the latest wlan drivers and perform a BIOS update.
Next thing you can do is, signal your wlan router channel change.

    1. click on the Start button
    2. click on network in the column on the right in the start menu
    3. click on network in the menu bar Center horizontal
    4. click on manage wireless network

    This is a very simple procedure.

    You will find the HARD drive and all partitions created on the HARD drive.

    You just need to reduce the size of the system (C) partition.
