One possibility would be to use the box caption of the textfield for the date and leave the value part free for the user to enter their data:

How to check if a user event is registered before you destroy?
 
			 
I have a number of screws running asynchronously each registrant to manage a common user event. During the shutdown, each of these screws is unregistered for this event. Now I want to destroy the event.
Or reference material on user events recommends I wait that all event handlers are registered before destroying the event, and I would like to do this way, even though the waiting may not be necessary in a situation of judgment (suggested in another thread of discussion).
So my question is: how to check if a user event is canceled completely before I have destroy it?
In other words: is there a way to see the event handlers registered how a given user event has? I am currently using this VI (see below) to track the number of registered event handlers:

(let's call it with + 1 when you register a handler,-1 when the cancellation of registration). However, it feels like a hack, and I wonder if there isn't a more appropriate way to do so. Ideally, a sort of built-in? This looks like something that LabVIEW would need to keep track of...

I looked through a documentation to verify whether or not a VI as it exists and unforunately library VI does not contain a means for the user to track the number of events. If we had a VI in the library with the functionality you're looking for it would probably work very similar to your under the hood.

I have not been able to access all of the properties of the content of a book like the book State, but I can get the "full name" of each one, the content of the book. As is the full path of the file to where InDesign thinks is the file, you can try to make an alias, if the file is not there it will fail. If you use a try you can take the file paths failed.
Tell application "Adobe InDesign CS3"
Set missingBookFiles to {}
Repeat with x 1 as the content of the book of book 1
value bookPath full name of book content x of volume 1

I signed to Adobe sign under the impression that I could sign the document myself before or after you send the document to a recipient? Surely, this can be done? Can someone shed light on the way of if this is possible? Thanks in advance!

Look out for this option "I need to sign...". "while on the send page which gives you the opportunity to sign the first/last:

Alternatively, you can add your own e-mail address in the list with the other recipients in the same order, you want them to sign the document.

Recently, I decided to use icloud for storing my documents. I now discover is therefore more a folder for Documents on my Mac. The favorite of Documents is also missing from my Finder with no option to add back. The only option and something that I see in the Finder's Documents in iCloud. I want to stop using icloud for storing my documents. How to return all documents on my Mac? I tried to create a "Documents" folder under my user, but he comes back and says that it already exists. I can't find. Help!
			 
Similar situation with my father.  He did not know that it turned on syncing iCloud and after disabled it, discovered that his office was empty (the Documents probably too, but it wasn't in the concerned e-mail message, I received this morning).
This seems to be the opposite of what one should expect; When turning off this feature, you should be at least the option to restore your files in the desktop and Documents folders.
I do "remote support" for an octogenarian who is not very comfortable to make changes to his computer.  If all goes well, there is a simple solution that I can talk to him through.

I'm developing an application and I am facing some problems.
The application needs to read SIM data in order to display information according to the country of the SIM card. The first thing it does after opening is read the SIM. If no SIM card is detected an error, if one can read that the app displays a list. I'll get into the details.
I added in the descriptor bar of permission of "read_cellular_data". When the app opens for the first time, it asks the user for authorization, which is normal. After that the validated user presses, the screen remains black. Reduce to a minimum the application does that visible splash screen. Only, you can close the application.
After opening the app for the second time, the application works normally.
Also, when I ask the State of the SIM using 'SimCardInfo () .state (); I'm "NotDetected" If there is no SIM and if the app has no authorization. I would like to know how to tell the difference between these 2.
My theory is that I need to check for permission, but I can't find any info on the permissions. All I've found is the following pages:

Any help/advice/pointers would be greatly appreciated.

I have seen that some permissions are not documented (can´t recall now another example).
But in the SimCardInfo.hpp, you can find it:

The application asks permission when opened, and without her, I can't read the SIM card, if the authorization is functional.
Told me by e-mail from a developer evangelist at the moment, there is no way to check/change the permissions.
My problem was that the application tried to read data from the SIM card what it opened, while approval has been invited only to the first opening of the app, and once you have accepted/refused, the app would remain on the start screen.
My solution was to present a welcome screen only the first time that the application is open, so no SIM data would be read while the authorization is requested.

As I could not download and watch a video show, I was told to check the version of windows and the number of bits. I remembered the upgrade to version 10 of Windows when you are prompted before. However, when I clicked on 'This PC' to check the C:\ drive, it shows Windows8_OS (C :).  It is quite misleading.  Can I know how to check & confirm the correct version of Windows and where to find the number of bits as well?

Looks like you're on windows 10, but after the upgrade is not changed the label of the hard drive.
Type winver in the run box-press windows key + R box simultaneously.
If the Windows 10 Build 10XXX State, you're on windows 10.
Simply right click C: / and select Rename and rename the drive in Windows10OS or what you want.

Please use the concept of 'several parties must sign the document' send agreements and collecting signatures.

You need to add your email address after entering the email address of signatories in the field on the page 'send '.  Also add a signature on the document field & assign it to yourself before sending the document for Signature.
Once you do this, document will first go the first signatory & sign is the document it will be the second signatory is to you for Signature. When you signed the document, transaction ends.

I wonder how streamline the signature documents when I have several to sign.  Whenever I log in, it takes me through the process of signing, then I have to click back to the dashboard or my managing the file, click Next, and wait for it to load, sign it and do it again.  Is there a way to sign a document and then once completed, it automatically goes to the next must be signed instead of pushing away me at first?  It was a characteristic DocuSign has and his late.  It takes 3 times as long to sign with EchoSign as it took be before using another tool of e-sign.
