• How to check if a user event is registered before you destroy?

  I have a number of screws running asynchronously each registrant to manage a common user event. During the shutdown, each of these screws is unregistered for this event. Now I want to destroy the event.

  Or reference material on user events recommends I wait that all event handlers are registered before destroying the event, and I would like to do this way, even though the waiting may not be necessary in a situation of judgment (suggested in another thread of discussion).

  So my question is: how to check if a user event is canceled completely before I have destroy it?

  In other words: is there a way to see the event handlers registered how a given user event has? I am currently using this VI (see below) to track the number of registered event handlers:

  

  (let's call it with + 1 when you register a handler,-1 when the cancellation of registration). However, it feels like a hack, and I wonder if there isn't a more appropriate way to do so. Ideally, a sort of built-in? This looks like something that LabVIEW would need to keep track of...

  I looked through a documentation to verify whether or not a VI as it exists and unforunately library VI does not contain a means for the user to track the number of events. If we had a VI in the library with the functionality you're looking for it would probably work very similar to your under the hood.

  1. go in AdminTool > Manage > Security > users... This is where you create new users in the RPD.
  2. I don't think you can create users automatically based on a list of users.

  Q: are you trying to create users, automatically, based on the file you have?

  I'm not sure which option you are talking about? [Do you use the EMCA, http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/B28359_01/server.111/b28319/emca.htm#SUTIL800] to create the new repository for the EM? If this isn't the case, the command line that the other is using DBCA (Database Configuration Wizard). I think you're talking about that. Yes, if the message comes from creating the repository that soon after, you can connect to the EM. You would get the port no port HTTP of EM comes from the $OH/install/portlist.ini file.

  Hi friend

  You can create the user on the Administration tool, on Manage-> Security-> users-> right click and then new user.

  Now, connect to the service of the presentation as an administrator. Then, on settings-> Administration-> catalog manage... here you can create new folder and grant access to the users of the folder you want.

  Before the user is displayed, make sure that it already logged in once.

  IN your SPR-> go to manage-> identity-> put your pointer in the users-> Action tab-> set up the filter of online user *.

  If you do not see the tab user, this means that BI Publisher has been configured with a different security model (Server BI, LDAP, etc.). Check what security model is in use. Once BI Publisher is configured with a different security model, all users are kept in this security model. Roles or groups will also be in this security model, and you will need to ensure that any role that you want to use a particular source file or data in Publisher has one of the 6 predefined roles editor. This role should then display in Publisher and you can allow access to the files and data sources.
