  You are allowed to have the software installed and enabled on both machines, but these two machines must use the same platform (PC vs Mac) for the Creative Suite software.  If your software is the PC version so it will not be installed on a Mac.  You can cross-grade version of the platform - and since you're dealing with CS6, it is possible (not for earlier versions).   So, I finally found em. The problem is that the Canon table pilots under "Windows 7". The drop-down the menuon the page of Canon seem to start with Windows 7 and end with Windows 2000. But in fact it scrolls away! If you mouse just in the right way, you will find an entry for "Windows 7 64-Bit". Downloaded the zip file, I found there and voila!   I am trying to install a new copy of the CS6 of media in box on a new iMac OS X Mavericks running.  Instantly, the Adobe installer fails with the message:

  I downloaded and installed Adobe Support Advisor, run it and it found no errors.

  This iMac has no DVD player, so I had to pull the files on the network via a share.

  Does anyone else have this problem? More imortantly, is - anyone solved this issue?

  I just bought and installed photoshop (student version) for my mac, but two days later, I hit the top. I do not know the extent of the damage for a few days (allowing to dry as suggested) but considering the worst-case scenario of having to replace it: I'll be able to install again with the same serial code? My flat mate says that I might have to pay for it? (You can imagine as a student, I can't afford after buying photoshop and potentially a new MacBook with a value of £1000!) Please help, I have no idea what I would have to do :/
