How to color proof design (chromalin or matchprint)?

Hi all

I need to present a design (created in Illustrator CC 2015) advertisement for a newspaper, but their needs are different than I'm used to. Specifically, they say that I need to 'send a correct color (chromalin or matchprint) evidence' which I am familiar with and don't have no idea how do (I usually just send a PDF / X leader whose publications seemed satisfied in the past). Could someone please explain the process of how to proceed?

Thank you very much!

It is strange for them to ask for one, because most printers are those delivering them. You will need to go to a service provider or an another print shop that you can run certified proof (board game) in your file. I ask that they recommend this printer.

    Hi Donnas,.

Content-aware fill is your best friend in this case.

Just make a selection around the word and go to edit-> Fill-> Content-Aware.

This usually done a very good job.

Then you can either return to it several times (maybe in smaller sections) with Content-Aware fill to clean it, or you can play with the Spot Healing Brush tool (J) or the tool clone stamp (s).

  • How can I color proof for RGB565

    Hello

I'm working on a large number of images from a target of Android.  The target uses the RGB565 format.  Is it possible to configure the proofing color on Photoshop (and illustrator would be good) to display with the color range of RGB565.  I have not been able to develop it and resorted to save the image as a BMP in RGB565 format then load back in search for atrifacts and banding etc.

    Thank you

Just to clarify this: Soft Proofing is not possible, because RGB565 is not a color space

but simply the code format bit R 5, 6 G of type bit, 5-bit B.

The question is probably, how to get a reasonable overview of the quantification

    effects (strips, as shown).

    Image > adjustment > Posterize

    with 32 levels (2 ^ 5 = 32) creates an overview for RGB555, which can be considered

a kind of worst test for RGB565.

But if the real RGB888--> RGB565 conversion is performed with dithering, then the

test as above is no longer relevant.

    Hello

I have worked on this problem for a while and still have no answer. I use Dreamweaver CS5.5. I am new to write html code.

My question is: how to set the width to a setting more shrunk my entire design which is currently focused on my page. This would allow more of the background (sky) to show on the left and the right of my page. Is it even possible at this late date after filling the Web site.

    (1) padding is only placed on the top and/or bottom of the divs. The elements contained in these divs have padding on their sides. This avoids any «mathematical model of box» Keep in mind, if you add lateral pads or border to the div itself, it will be added to the width that you set to create the * total width. You can also remove the padding of the element inside the div tag, and place a second div inside it with no width and padding necessary for your design.

    (2) no margin was given to the columns, because they all floated. If you need to add the margin, avoid placing on the side you're floating into (for example: a right margin on a div set to float to the right). Many times, padding can be used instead. For divs where this rule needs to be broken, you must add a statement of ' display: inline ' to the rule of the div to tame a bug where some versions of Internet Explorer double the margin.

    (3) given that the classes can be used several times in a document (and an element can also have several classes applied), the columns have received the names of classes instead of IDs. For example, two sidebar div could be stacked if necessary. These can easily be changed to the ID if that's your preference, as long as you don't use them once per document.

    (4) If you prefer your nav on the right instead of the left, simply float those columns as the opposite direction (straight instead of left all) and they will return in reverse order. There is no need to move the div in the HTML source code.

  • How to color a spesific points in a graph

    Hi all

I have a graph contains measures of power, I want a spesific pints color (one step), I read a few comments about XY graph. But I don't use it at the moment. Any idea? Thanks in advance

The second plot that you add will be an array of the same length as your data (and the same table-X), with all values y the NaN value (this prevents displayed on the chart).  When you know how much you want to "change color", copy its value in the same location in the Group of the second plot.  Set the color of plot2 to what you want.  This can be done for any point on the graph (lets say you want to color all points above a certain threshold, just repeat steps for each point of interest above).

  • How register for PCB design as a component

    Hello

I try to combine several PCB drawings into one file in Ultiboard, and I think recently it has the ability to save the design pcb as a componet. Anyone know how to use this feature?

    Thank you

I don't know an easy way to achieve this goal. It would be possible to manually edit the ewnet file before transfer to Ultiboard. To do this, there is no documentation of the file format (but it is ASCII) and it would be the same on you later selecting the correct RefDes when you place the part.
