How to compile a Web aspx page?

Hello

I recently started learning Visual Studio for Web (2013) and think that once I have finished coding aspx (Web page) file that I need to "compile" before loading it to my Web hosting service.

What command line at the command prompt should I use to compile the aspx file, please?

Thank you.

    Hi Haubhaus,

I know one thing to get your links to always open in a new window:
    1. Right-click on your desktop, select new, then shortcut
    2. Type "" C:\Program may Explorer\IEXPLORE. "." EXE" and click Next
    3. Name the shortcut (for example: Microsoft Home) and click Finish
    4. Right-click on the new shortcut and select Properties
    5. In the target box, arrow over until the end of the path, add a space and add -new (WEBSITEPATH). When your finished, your path should look like this:
      "" C:\Program may Explorer\IEXPLORE. "." "EXE" - new www.microsoft.com
    6. Click OK and try it!
Let me know if it works or if I can be of further assistance!

  • How high is a web page?

So we do pages 900 + pixels wide these days, but I wonder how many vertical content that we can use it before the user must start first scroll - what it sees when the page loads. Is there a rule (or a finger of the mouse) to do this?

It is true that you have to make a guess on the people who will be posted to the site.

For example, if you know that they use all screens of 12 inches and IE6 (relative), which gives you an idea of what to shoot for.

If you have a sense that they all enveloping monitors (surely someone will invent them) who are 36 inches on the diagonal and the latest, the greatest, browsers that tells you something else.

You can get general statistics on the use of the monitor of w3c http://www.w3schools.com/browsers/browsers_display.asp taking account of a vertical scroll bar and the top of the screen monitor material (toolbars, etc.), you can kind of guess the actual viewport sizes.

If you want to keep people on your page, and does not scroll to the Kingdom (how high is a web page? what is the sky?), there are strategies:

    • Stabilize the header and the tank below is scrollable in a container so it looks that everything on the screen...
    • Make the short page
    • Make the liquid of the page, so it does not hang off the page on small screens or cower in the corner of the large screens
    • Use the panels to Spry tab, or Spry accordions and other Spry content techniques

You can imitate browser/monitor window sizes by window > Cascade and adjusting the size of the floating window manually (drag the lower right). The size of the display window displays on the right side of the selector tag at the bottom of the Document window (1038 x 628, for example).

  • How to print normal Web page?

I used to be able to print pages from the internet without any problem at all. Now all of a sudden when I try to print a page, they come out very low. How can I solve this problem? Is it in the settings somewhere?

Could check you your "shrink to fit" and scaling settings? Means the simplest is:

Press the Alt key > file > Page Setup

    The default would be

    • Scale: 100
    • Adjust checked (this disables the change area of the scale, but you can uncheck, edit, and then check again)

If those who are at their default settings, perhaps they do work well for certain pages? You can use the preview before printing to consider how to-retractable works on this page and replace with different percentages instead.

Occasionally the printer data Firefox gets blurred and manual adjustments do not seem to work. In this case, you can "reset" the printer settings. This article has the steps: http://kb.mozillazine.org/Problems_printing_web_pages#Reset_printer

  • Flash on the ASPX Page

I would like to run Flash video with a transparent background on an aspx page. This allows video to be played on a web page so that the content of the web page shows through the alpha channel of the video. Here's a URL for the effect I want to achieve:

    http://eimpression.myrealtytools.com

The video appears rooted at the bottom of the page via the Ajax AlwaysVisible Control Extender. I can get the transparent background effect on an html page using this code:

    < object classid = "clsid:D27CDB6E-AE6D-11cf-96B8-444553540000" codebase ="" http://download.macromedia.com/pub/shockwave/cabs/flash/swflash.cab#version=7, 0,19,0 ' width = "550" height = "400" > "
    < param name = "movie" value = "practice2.swf" / > "
    < param name = "quality" value = "high" / >
    < param name = 'wmode' value = 'transparent' / >
    < embed src = "practice2.swf" width = "550" height = "400" quality = "high" pluginspage ="" http://www.macromedia.com/go/getflashplayer ' type = "application/x-shockwave-flash" wmode = "transparent" > < / embed > "
    < / object >

Here's my .aspx code that allows the Flash animation to play within a panel using a NetSwf control. But there is no transparent background, she blocked ' part of the content of the page:

    < asp: Panel ID = "Panel1" runat = "server" Height = '240px' Width = "320px" >
    "< netcontrols:netswf runat ="Server"ID ="NetSwf1"Height ="400px"MovieUrl="~/swf/practice2.swf "Width ="550px"Align ="Right"Menu ="True">
    < FlashVarsCollections >
    < NetControls:FlashVars Name = 'Language' Value = 'en' / >
    < / FlashVarsCollections >
    < / NetControls:NetSwf >
    < / asp: Panel >
    < cc1:AlwaysVisibleControlExtender ID = "AlwaysVisibleControlExtender1" runat = "server" HorizontalSide = "Center" ScrollEffectDuration = "0.01" TargetControlID = "Panel1" VerticalSide = "Bottom" >
    < / cc1:AlwaysVisibleControlExtender >

I would actually get the transparency (wmode value = transparent) background setting in my .aspx page code. Or is there another solution to this problem? Any suggestions on how to achieve this?

You can set WMode = Transparent window NetSwf Paparameters or

    By coding;
    NetSwf1.WMode = NetControls.NetSwf.NetSwf.EnumWMode.Transparent
