How to connect a client server Oracle BI BI data source
Hi allHow to access the DataSource BI the BI client server?
is this possible?
I have to configure tnsname.ora again?
How to access the RPD to server? What is the logic behind?
With respect,
WP
Administration of BI - RPD (were RPD is created) can access data using odbc and OCI.
BI client - responses BI, BI Publisher.
You can access the source data (domain here) i.e. content presentation of RPD... from BI answers, BI Publisher only after RPD is created.
You can open the SPR online, to view the contents of the RPD.

How to connect to the server from VPN Windows Sever?
Hey guys, I recently created my own VPN server to connect to my home network using Windows Server 2003. I know I probably still need to do this if I don't know what I have to do, but how to connect to the server, or at least set it up in order to be logged in? I think I got the computers communicating with each other, but I think that I am running into errors of authentication. Could someone point me in the right direction with regard to what I have to do what I already have Setup? Thanks in advance.

How to integrate a database server Oracle Coherence
Hi all
How to integrate a database server Oracle Coherence and how to work on it?
Thank you
Sarvesh MYou can also do this with manual coding to JDBC code or have a stored procedure that performs the actual mapping data to tables (this is probably the smallest amount of data transported between the node storage and DB, but with the overhead of processing of stored procedures).
Best regards

Microsoft excel 2007
any body can help me how to connect excel, oracle database, I can write my query in excel, and retrieve data from oracle database and show in excel sheet or I can write a query to insert data to the oracle database.Hello
I never tried, but why not try so if you succeeded you will come to know otherwise you would need still oracle client to connect to the oracle database that is located on the other server or if you do not have to install on your local machine that you cannot connect to the oracle database oracle client.

SSXA: How it connects to Content Server as a sysadmin without password?
Hello world
We use SSXA 11.1.1.5. The documentation says that SSXA engine accesses the content as a user admin server internally:the adminUser userId is used to extract the data from the content server file and store it in the Studio of Site for external Applications cache.
With little investigation, we found that the admin user is configured in the configuration file wcm - config.xml:
However, we are confused because no password is necessary. (In fact, the XML < contentServer > element has an attribute called "adminPassword" but it does not matter what we put in it - the continuous SSXA engine to run. The user interface does not include a password either, field that makes us think that this attribute is deprecated).<contentServer connectionName="MyPortal" adminUser="sysadmin"/>
Could someone explain to me how SSXA connects to the content without password server? If it uses some special API that does not require a password, it's a security breach?
Thank you
DimitarIt uses the remote Client of Intradoc (IDRC). http://download.Oracle.com/docs/CD/E14571_01/doc.1111/e16819/toc.htm
It is not a security hole because there is a UCM configuration parameter called SocketHostAddressSecurityFilter that determines which network addresses are allowed to use CRMI.

See connection to the server does not see any source
Hello
I have a very big problem, my opinion-connection to the server does not see any computer desk-source. I had seen some sources but not all a few hours ago. At this point, I did not see the sources I so did many trys to see this source. Overall I don't have luck, and now I see no source.
The problems started with a VM Windows Server 2003 EE SP2, I need training to be deployed with a view. I have not seen this virtual machine, either I chosse linked clones or not.
The journal of the events of this virtual machine show, auto login TP Server service not started right.
I hope to have some ideas that will help me to solve this problem.
Greetings
You can use a server OS in a pool of Terminal Server services. If you want to set up a desktop computer, you will need to use a desktop supported OS. You can find operating systems supported in the Administrator's guide, http://www.vmware.com/pdf/view31_manual.pdf.
If you have found this device or any other useful post please consider the use of buttons useful/correct to award points

ClassCastException JDBC with SQL Server on AppModule r data source
I run an application ADF 11g (11.1.1.3) on integrated Web Logic Server of JDeveloper. This application was migrated from an application of 10 g and OC4J to Weblogic has left.
This application includes a project whose business components rely on a SQL Server data source.
Unfortunately I sporadically get a ClassCastException around the data source
If I read correctly the output of the server, is to try to reset the data source and calling the SQLBuilder bad implementation, which is originally the ClassCastException.
Track stack and the server output are below.
Any ideas?

How to get the name of the application Module data source
Hi all
I need to get the name of source data or DB connection on which my Application module is plugged.
I tried to get the value below
System.out.println ("jdbc URL:" + getTransaction () .getConnectionMetadata () .getJdbcURL ());
But it is null for the data source (in the case of the jdbc URL gives me value)
Please help me.
Thanks in advance...!
P.S: Jdev v11.1.1.6
Thanks to all those who want to help.
ApplicationModule API (ApplicationModule (Oracle Fusion Middleware Java QAnywhere for Oracle ADF Model))
I thought that this
Hashtable hashtable is getSession () .getEnvironment ();.
System.out.println ("JDBC data source value is:" + hashtable.get ("JDBCDataSource"));

There are two Windows 2008 Server: SIGA (database server), SIMBA (application server).
On GIS, Oracle 11.2.0.1.0 database has been installed. It's tnsnames.ora reads as follows. Execution "TNSPING SIGA" works very well. TNSNAMES is used to resolve the name.
GIS =
(DESCRIPTION =
(ADDRESS_LIST =
(ADDRESS = (PROTOCOL = TCP) (HOST = SARABI.lionsland.local.de)(PORT = 1521))
)
(CONNECT_DATA = (SERVICE_NAME = ORCL))
)
The SIMBA, Oracle Client 11.2.0.1.0 has been installed. It's the tnsnames.ora is identical to the above. Running "PING SIGA" works very well. The name is resolved to 192.168.1.201. However, execution 'TNSPING SIGA' fails "12535 TNS Timeout". The track is given below. I don't understand where is the problem.

How to connect to my server windows server 2008 and make my computer a workstation?
I got a new windows 7 computer pro to replace my old windows xp computer. I used the Windows easy transfer tool to move files from my old computer to the new. The old computer is still connected at the moment. I named the computer of the same name and the same password. I did an upgrade from xp to windows 7 on another computer, and it seems to work very well using the same process. It connected automatically to the server. I really want to do when the computer is just a workstation on the network, and anyone can sign any name and password. How can I do?
It seems that your computer is currently connected to a domain. If it is used in a business environment, you do not have the privilege of setting upward as you wish using the mode of working group due to the policies implemented by the network administrator.
If you have the option of logging to a local account, it's how you do it:
Type: MACHINE NAME\Username
then enter your password.
How to find the name of your computer:
Click Start, right click on computer
Click on properties
Go to the section name parameters, by domain and workgroup of the computer

ORA-12170: how to connect both ways 2 Oracle DB
Hi all.
I got the laptop Win7 64 bit and installed Oracle 11.2.0.1 32 bits. (sid = orcl, ip 192.168.1.101 =)
Then I installed VM box and installed Windows XP as the guest operating system.
Inside, I installed other Oracle 11.2.0.1 (sid = orclA, ip 192.168.1.102)
I tried to connect the 2 database, but I had error ora-12170 round-trip
I can ping both directions.
Are there necessary permission grants on the side Win7 & WinXP so that my 2 databases can talk to each other?
It seems to block the connection. I have already disabled the firewall.
Please helppppp...
Thank you very much

Yes, I keep forgetting that he should be the default value "always". How can I change/update it to a question?
You have only 15 minutes after creating threads to (UN) mark a discussion as matter. As moderator, I made the change for you.
