How to continue rendering of the transition with the custom dialog box open

Hello

I'm working on a plugin for some transitions custom (currently for CS6/CC on Windows).

I use a custom dialog (hasCustomDialog in PiPL) during the esSetup box to define the transition parameters. While the dialog box is open, first execution is suspended until the dialog box is closed.

The problem is, if I'm fiddling with the settings I do not see the changes in the program monitor and I don't get any comment first.

I tried to make the dialog non-blocking, but then first did not executives when I changed something in the dialog box.

Anyone know if it is possible to maintain the dialogue and still have first actively updating the display?

Kind regards

Philipp Stelzer

But I want to keep the dialog box open to see the changes directly without opening the dialog box whenever I want to change a value. Is this possible with a custom dialog?

It is not the case.  But using the AE API with extensions of the transition, you should be able to achieve the same thing, with the effect controls panel, containing all your effects settings.

    How do or force the Save dialog box for the pop-up link in Dreamweaver, legally?

    I looked on google how to and what is the code for this but all the answers are to use php or javascript code and paste it into "Web page editor" and edit with your file name. I wonder what the 'legal' way to do that using Dreamweaver options for getting to this: when I click on my link to the image on my Web page, I created, pop-up "save under" dialog box, then the visitor of my site for can save file that my site wish to offer for download.

    It is very easy to just a link certain file (in my case is png image) and open in a new page in the browser, but I want to save as dialog window appears and then visitor on my site to save my png file or not.

    Help!

    You will need to use a script.  If your server supports PHP, this will do what you want. Change filename & path to point to your download folder.  SaveAs download.php.

    Place a link on your page parent download.php file.

  • Name to appear first in the custom dialog box pop-up list

    Hi Forum.

    Thanks for the support so far.  I'm creating a simple custom dialog box which will be "popup", few names in the drop-down list.

    I read an external txt file bearing the name corresponding to the drop-down list. I try to display the name "Stephen" in the txt file as the first and then others follow one by one. Please help on this.

    name listed in the pop-up window

    Dialog.Load ({}

    names of:

    {

    'The King':-1.

    'Queen':-2,.

    'Jack':-3,.

    "Stephen":-4,.

    "Robert":-5,.

    }

    })

    He tried as below but found that the myList3 variable is directly instead of its value ("Stephen").

    Dialog.Load ({}

    names of:

    {

    myList3 : + 1, / / the variable myList3 will be known as "Stephen" stored inside.

    'The King':-1.

    'Queen':-2,.

    'Jack':-3,.

    "Stephen":-4,.

    "Robert":-5,.

    }

    })

    Appreciated your timely help on that. Thank you.

  • KeyBinding options of the custom dialog box?

    Is there a way to bind a key to a certain task when a dialog box is open?  For example, if I have a dialog box that appears with several boxes and I want to check or uncheck the box next to 'trim' by pressing the T key, is it possible?  Thanks for any help!

    dgolberg

    Yes it is possible but only with Photoshop CS4 as event handlers is bust in CS5.

    var w = new Window('dialog','test checkbox');
    w.cb1 = w.add('checkbox',undefined,'Trim');
    w.bu1 = w.add('button',undefined,'cancel');
    w.cb1.value=true;
    w.addEventListener ('keydown', IsT);
    function IsT (event) {
    if  ((event.keyName =='t') || (event.keyName == 'T')) w.cb1.value=!w.cb1.value;
    }
    w.show();

  • Why Firefox doesn't open the printer dialog box whenever it starts

    When Firefox opens the printer dialog box opens automatically - why and how can I make sure that he does this.
    This never used to happen on previous versions of firefox

    Some web pages automatically shows the print dialog box. In particular, the pages Web sites have specially formatted for printing can do.

    Restore you tabs that you have opened previously, or commissioning with your home page (s)? I suspect that one of them generates the dialog box. You can view by clicking on each of them and reload the page to see if it's on this page.

  • Position of the modal dialog box

    Hi,.

    Could someone explain to me how the op i tion to the wide a modal dialog is calculated?

    I put the height of my modal dialog box to 780px (all of the page of the dialog box is displayed), and the modal dialog box is displayed at the top of the window:

    780px.PNG

    A user complains that the modal dialog box is located roughly halfway to the window and having to drag upward to display all items and buttons.

    After you change the height to 600px, I get the same answer (the modal dialog box is about to halfway through the window) on my environments: different types of MacBook (Air/Pro), a window PC, all modern browsers.

    600px.PNG

    Then sometimes (how SMART is that! ) ) the modal dialog box (with the height value 780px) is positioned at the top of the page, sometimes the top less x.

    Thank you

  • How to change the stop dialog box?

    So I will try to change the image of the banner of the stop in Vista dialog box, would anyone here happen to know how to do this (or if it is possible)?

    This:

    http://www.vistarevisited.com/wp-content/uploads/2007/12/quick-shutdown-thumb.jpg
    I checked a few dll in System32 (shell32, Shellstyle.dll, shgina [because the xp shutdown dialog box is apparently 'msgina.dll']) but I don't see anything that had to do with the shutdown dialog box. I thought that it would be better to ask before going through each file in system32.
    Any information would be very helpful, thank you.

    (btw, I searched google and bing nothing works, that's why I ask. "I doubt that many people would want to do this.)

    Thanks for your reply.

    I already searched the internet for the software, and I found a few programs that allow me to edit .dll files (which is what I assume that contains the info dialog box). I want to know is what file contains the dialog box information.

    EDIT: found, I guess this thread can be closed now.

    For future reference, the banner of the shutdown dialog box (among others) is located in C:\Windows\Branding\Basebrd\basebrd.dll

  • How to fix dialog box opens with Adobe first Elements.exe - no disk

    Any help is appreciated,

    William

    What you describe is a known problem with the elements first 13/13.1.

    Adobe gave us the solution that seems to be deleting the OldFilm.AEX file.

    Windows 7, 8 or 8.1 64-bit

    Local disk C

    Program Files

    Adobe

    Adobe Premiere Elements 13

    Plug-ins

    Commune

    NewBlue

    and in NewBlue folder is the file OldFilm.AEX that you remove or disable by renaming the file OldFilm.AEX in OldFilm.AEXOLD.

    Please let us know if it works for you, because it has for others.

    Thank you.

  • How to move or resize the print dialogue box to fit my screen?

    At the moment the printing dialog box is located below the menu bar and extends below the screen.  I tried to go back or to resize it, but he didn't budge.  I don't see the buttons at the bottom.  I know that one is 'Cancel' and 'print' but there is a third - is - this "Save"?

    I use Windows 7 on a Toshiba laptop with Creative 6 screen resolution is 1280 x 720

    OK, managed to delete the settings file.  However, the resizing problem continues.  I guess it must be my computer.  If it wasn't, this problem would have appeared before that.

    It is a small example of a 'virtual' keyboard that will enter the text into a textinput/textarea component selected. Capslock and shift key States really aren't quite right (really need control shift/cap lock combo), but there is a simple tab and backspace (delete) and enter the function key.

    hope this is useful

    David.

  • HP Officejet 6500 E710: How to create desktop icon to launch the Scanner dialog box?

    I would like to create a desktop icon to launch the Scanner dialog box. I'm not a fan of the approach to Tile Windows.

    Under Windows, 8.1, there was a desktop icon which allow me to connect to my Officejet 6500 unit and allow the scan to computer option. Who disappeared with the upgrade of Windows 10.

    I ran the print and Scan doctor and it solved the problems. When I went to test scanning, it arises from the familiar dialog box where I could choose different settings.

    It worked perfectly. But after having closed the doctor, I could not find any place to launch the new dialogue box, outside the doctor.

    I downloaded and installed the scanning HP and Capture app. It works very well, but I rather not leaving office to launch it, or use it enough to justify the taskbar setting.

    Is it possible to create a desktop icon for the application of scanning and Capture

    or

    is there a way to create an icon to launch the dialog box scan that print and Scan Doctor uses?

    I prefer this one.

    Hello

    Thank you for using the HP Forums.

    Is there a way to create the shortcut to scan on your desktop. Try the following steps:

    1. open a file Explorer

    2 C: > Program Files (x 86)

    3 program Files (x 86) > HP

    4 HP > HP Officejet 6500

    5 HP Officejet 6500 > Bin

    6 bin > Scanner HP

    7. right click on the analysis of HP and "create shortcut".

    You'll get a prompt that "Windows cannot create a shortcut here.  Do you want the shortcut to be placed on the desktop instead?    Select "Yes".

    Hope that helps!
