How to copy CDs of recovery of Windows XP (legally) on SD card?

I used to have a Windows XP since mid-February. And now I see why Dell sends customers an OEM (copy to recover from a BONE). I was on the web and an anitvirus program called Anitvirus.NET said that my computer was full of viruses. I thought that the antivirus itself was a virus (Yes, I had installed Microsoft Security Essentials and an active firewall). But it blocks everything opened and is pressuring me to buy the product. But I thought it was just as well crazy me in phishing. I currently using Ubuntu Netbook and want to return to XP. But the problem is, see, Dell, for me, expects you to buy a CD player, but there is means I'll buy a CD drive just for recovery. So what I did was exemplary right from the CD on an SD card (I have a SD card slot) and a folder or files rpet he is corrupt and I may soon be copy each file that it self and there is NOWAY I do THIS. i386 folder must be almost at least 75% of the entire CD. Please I do NOT do this for purposes of piracy. (I have used to have 7 Adobe products that run ONLY on the WINDOWS OPERATING SYSTEMS. IT took me at least 7 days to download this)

PLEASE, PLEASE HELP!

  • How can I increase the recovery of Windows system restore drive 7?

I have windows 7 ultimate and I read someone's question on the increase in the recovery of the system and I was wondering how to find it on my laptop and desktop? Because if I can and have better if restore points I ever need to go back which would help in the right now with my laptop, that my restore points back only 7 days. Which is weird, this laptop has been used longer than 7 days and I for 2 days.

And it is the same for windows 7 Home premium? So I could show my father and my brother as well :)
    Thanks Cortana :)

System Restore saves as many restore points as he shared.  When the allocated space fills, more older restore points are deleted to make room for the new.

Although SR in Windows 7 is much better than XP, I would always go back much more than a week.  Windows 7 warn you: on the first screen of the system restore, you will notice a link that says "search for affected programs.  Click here to get an idea of what problems might arise if you go ahead with the restoration.

Also, the list of restore points that shows initially cannot be completed.  Check the box "Show more restore points" to see the rest of them.

Here's how to adjust the space allocated to the restoration of the system (all Win 7 versions): http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows7/how-much-disk-space-does-system-restore-require

Here are answers to some common questions about the system restore.

Remember, the system restore saves its restore points on the same drive that is "protection". If this disc fails, both your system AND your backup disappeared.  Best practice would be to save the backups on an external support.

If it comes pre-installed on the drive, unless it's a license to retail, its license only for material it comes preinstalled.

    2. clean install / lack of media

Since the system is the second user, I would like to install the system. Assuming that there is no media (I don't remember not receive media with my wife 13 yoga that has been installed at the factory purchased from Lenovo direct) can I get media somewhere?

Computers laptops Lenovo include a function called the Lenovo OneKey Recovery button, which is used to boot into the recovery environment and to reinstall Windows.

If you want to reinstall Windows 8, which means remove applications and personal files and settings, you can use the reset and refresh. This is equivalent to a clean install.

To do this, follow these steps:

    · Press the Windows key + i on your keyboard to show the charms (if you use a touch screen: touch the right edge of your screen and drag your finger to the left)

    · Click settings

    · Click change PC settings

    · Click general in the left column

    · In virtue remove all and reinstall Windows, click Start

Then follow instructions that will be provided on the screen to reinstall Windows on your PC.

I do not have OEM 8.1 media that came with another system, could I use it, with the second user systems product key?

No, 1 license, 1 computer, you have would remove other computer until you can transfer and it is only if its an OEM System Builder License.

No, the key that can be used with 32-bit or 64-bit of Windows 8 is exclusively for use with the disc 1. You cannot use install both. 1 license, 1 installation, so choose wisely. If you want to install Windows 8 32-bit or 64-bit on another partition or another computer, you must purchase an additional license.

    INSTALLATION AND USE RIGHTS.

    a. one copy per computer. You can install one copy of the software on a single computer. This computer is "licensed computer.

    b. a computer license. You can use the software on up to two processors of the computer under license at some point. Except as provided in these license terms, you cannot use the software on any other computer.

    c. number of users. Except as provided in these license terms, only one user may use the software at a time.

    d. other Versions. The software may include several versions, such as 32-bit and 64-bit. You may install and use only one version at a time.

You can buy the necessary disks or the HP's USB key...

Here is a link to that... You will need to enter your exact model number, or more likely your serial number.

You can also call to them. The disks may be $20, but I do not know the USB, if necessary.

  • How to copy the recovery on DVD partition in windows 8?

Hi, recently I put asus s series laptop with windows 8 installed inside, I don't have a recovery with the laptop instead of this CD, they provided a recovery hard disk partition... and my question is If there is a way to copy this partition recovery for DVD and use it to restore the system at the time of the break... Please help me

I use ATI regularly for imaging, but I have not tried what you're asking. My guess is that you can use the DVD at any time to restore the drive to the first day (factory condition). But unless you had a failure, either with the operating system or the hard drive, why would restore you the first day? I don't think that someone wakes up in the morning and say: ' Hey, I think I'll put my PC in the way it was the day I bought it, just for fun. ":-)

I'm only theorizing here, but I would say that in the event of failure, put you in the ATI boot CD, use it to restore the recovery Partition from the DVD to the hard drive (which means probably wipe the disc in the process), reboot to the hard disk, then press what touches 'F' it to begin the action for recovery. Then it would be like a new laptop again.

Or maybe, with the recovery being bootable DVDs, you would just restore the hard drive directly to him. I don't really know for you; the recovery DVDs only I knew were like that (pick up directly from the DVD), but they were created with a program on the PC/laptop purchase. If you have a spare autour hard drive, you can always test the process to see if it works if you will not have to wait until there is a catastrophic failure, and then find out it doesn't work.

  • How to copy the recovery on the new HARD drive partition, HARD drive failed?

    Hallo,

I have a Compaq Mini netbook with Windows 7 Starter.

The HARD drive has failed and it is not repairable. However, it seems that the recovery partition is OK.

I want to buy a new HARD drive, install the driver on the netbook, and then use the tools/recovery partition to install windows 7 on a new PC.

So, the question is simple: how to copy the recovery for the new HARD drive partition?

    Hello s91066.

If your hard drive of your laptop doesn't have? If this is the case, what do you mean by the "recovery partition is ok? I doubt that this laptop has two hard disks, so if you are able to see this partition of your hard drive may still work.

You will need a set of recovery disks to restore the partitions on the new drive. If you can start Windows, which you can probably not with a dead hard drive, you can follow these steps if you can get into Windows.

If you are unable to boot into Windows, you need a set of disks. You can order it directly from HP. The number of the United States / Canada is 1-800-474-6836. If you are in another domain, you must visit HP's Support around the world to find contact information for your region.

I hope that is useful; have a great weekend!

  • How can I copy a CD/DVD in Windows 7 without any additional software?

Well... I want to make a copy of a CD/DVD in Windows 7 without having to install any additional software. Is this possible? I mean I really think something like option to copy CDs that are extremely easy to find.

The answer is you can't. Not with Windows 7 64 Bit Enterprise Service Pack 1 when you are a user and not an administrator.

& Support offers you a video to show you how to copy the data from your computer to a disc that can be used on a variety of devices (called a mastered disc) or copy data to a disc that works as a (Directory Live) USB Flash drive on an XP or a newer operating system.

You will need additional software installed on your computer, you can install if you have administrator privileges on your machine.
