========================================
It is not clear if you connect the phone via USB
or if you have inserted the memory card in a media player.

Anyway... Here's something to try...

When connected via a USB cable... and turned on... the
mobile phone should be recognized at... Start / computer...
with a drive letter.

If the card is a media player, the player must be
recognized that several removable disks... one of them
will be the location of that your card is located.

In Windows Live Photo Gallery... right click a thumbnail
or a selected thumbnail and in the menu group...
Choose... "Copy".

Then go to... Start / computer... right click on the drive letter
representing your mobile phone / memory card and
the menu... choose... 'Stick '.

If you see an error similar to the following: "cannot copy".
IMG_4321; The file or directory could not be created.

This means that too many files have been copied to the root
Directory of the memory card. The solution is to remove
a couple of files and create folders to copy the files
in.

The same way would normally would before Windows 8.  Put on the CD and when it asks, choose 'Open folder' to see all the pictures.  Then drag-and - drop in your image folder to copy them.

If the CD asks you how to open it when you put it in, a quick shortcut to open the file Explorer is to press Windows + E.

Despite the title, this video explains how to MOVE pictures, not how to copy.

There is no way to make copies of the photos using Lightroom, you can move the photos using Lightroom.

Lightroom will result in no records per day, except when you import photos. If I could make a suggestion, leave your files in the same "mess" they are in now and use the keywords and other metadata to allow you to organize and search.

  • How to copy photos in the photos on a cd application, it was easy in iPhoto, but seems to be missing

I need to make a cd of the photos app, and he took on the transition of the photos from iPhoto app, it seems. also if you copy high resolution images that have been implemented phot they now photos when you copy them

You must have upgraded from an earlier version of iPhoto because the option was not in any recent versions. In addition, burning a CD in iPhoto burned a library, not copy the pictures, so anyway, the process to engrave pictures on the disc is the same as it's always been:

Export images from the application (file-> export) to a folder on the desktop and burn with the Finder.

also if you copy high resolution images that have been implemented phot they now photos when you copy them

Pretty much depends on what you mean by "copy". Use the Export command and you can choose the size of photos, quality of the files, and many other variables too. This was written for iPhoto, but it's about 95 percent even in Photos.

  • How to copy photos from one HD to another

Noticed that my 10 000 entire iPhoto library is stored only on one of the three external HD that I have - and not on my Mac itself.  How can I copy / duplicate the library on another HD so that I have a backup?  Thanks in advance.

Click the source, use the command + C to copy, select the destination, and then command + V to paste. However if you back up your computer using Time Machine you probably already have at least 1 backup. It's a good idea to have redundant backups, but you can use the copy and paste the solution in addition to using Time Machine.

  • Copy Photos on SD card - double as seen in Android

I used iPhoto export feature to send pictures to a folder on my desktop. I then copied these photos of a micro SD card. When I view the micro-SD card in android device double the number of files. There is a file which is the image and another file with a similar name, but is not visible. I started with 1000 photos and there are 2000 entries. I then ran a new try with just 1 photo.

It is the range of the resources in the Mac file - if you search the app store you'll find software to remove it

  • How to copy an iPhoto Library AND photos

With the help of iPhoto Library Manager I made a copy of my iPhoto library to a new external drive, but I noticed that when I opened the library copied, the photos it contains are always referenced to the original photos, no copies on the new drive, as I had hoped.

If as expected, how a copy an iPhoto Library AND photos referenced to a new location, on an external drive, as is any independent on the new drive?

    Thank you

    Geoff

    Simple:

Go to your pictures folder and find the iPhoto library here. Drag it to the external hard drive. It will make an exact copy it

    Fact.

Warnings: the player must be directly connected (USB, lightning etc.) and Mac OS extended (journaled) format

Are you running a Managed or referenced library?

A managed, library is the default setting, and iPhoto copies the files in the iPhoto library during import. The files are then stored in the library package

A referenced library is where iPhoto does NOT copy the files in the iPhoto Library when importing because you have made a change to iPhoto-> preferences-> advanced. (You unchecked the option to copy files in the library to import) The files are then stored wherever you put them and not in the library package. In this scenario, you are responsible for the management of files.

If you have a library that is referenced, then it is much more complicated.
