How to create 2 gradient on a layer?

I try to apply 2 shades in a single layer. When I applied the second gradient, it is replaced by 1. Is it possible to do without having 2 separate layers

Choose a foreground color (black, red, etc.), but make sure that you choose transparent menu degraded (the other in the top row). The transparent part is important.

    Thank you.

Place a filled area of your gradient desired on a transparent layer in the opposite case and add a stroke layer style. The Type of gradient fill value and Style to the bursting of the form. Adjust the size to give the desired effect.

Note that the effect depends on the width of the image; the narrow parts only get one end of the gradient, and the environment might not get anything at all, so you can reduce the opacity of the layer (NOT the layer opacity) filling, or add a color overlay or a decorative motif for the layer Style.

    qanibh,

In the new version (s), you can specify the values of opacity for the gradient fill.

    In older versions, you can:

    (1) create the shape with the color of fine solid on the background one.

    (2) copy forward, apply a gradient to the copy, and in the transparency palette/Panel flyout to make mask opacity, adjustment Clip and invert as desired.

  • How to create a gradient halo for web "master page".

    In collaboration with PS CS5.5.

I need to create a background image x 650px 1000px for a web application. I wish that the size of the resulting (PNG) file uploaded by the web site to be in the realm of 50 KB.

What is the general strategy for the creation of a gradient as the attachment?

Should I start with a solid background color and overlay the solid with a white gradient layer (Center being less transparent)... in my mind would result in the smallest size of file given I could decrease the resolution (of the exported PNG file) without any visible effect on the web page.

    Please advise,

    Bradbg.jpg

There may be several ways to do it, but you could make a round radial gradient layer, adjust it to your liking, then save in PNG and just resize to any size you like in the HTML code, which might get you the oval shape.  Or you can rasterize in Photoshop and save it as a version of "crushed" to a small possible savings in file size.

The gradient of 500 x 325 pixels above saved as a PNG image is about 50 KB.

It has been cropped, pixelated and crushed vertically and takes only 26 kb on disk.

  • How to create a gradient shape?

    Hello

I knew how to do this but I forgot, and same googleing it is not help me to find my answer.

I want to create a circular arrow doing a 270 degrees, but I want to have a gradient that goes from the outside to the inside of the arrow, following the shape of the arrow...

So I know that I duplicate the arrow a few times (4-5 in my case) then change the scale a little to reduce it, adjust it, define the new color on each step and voila.

And that's where I'm stuck. I have therefore 2 question:

1-do I need to fill the arrow with the color, or use the run with an empty form?

    2. What is the command and where can I find (I use CS4)

I tried the mesh tools, but he just get all dirty... or I forgot how to use it... anyway.

    Thank you.

    Choir,

You can use a mixture of the edges to the center of the arrow.

And you can create a right arrow and use as an Artbrush, I assume that's what you do.

You can start with the shape and color to the edge, copy it to the front, reducing the thickness in proportion, apply the color to the centre and object > blend > make (smooth, align pathin mix Options).

I tried the gradient of the mesh, but he just get all dirty... or I forgot how to use it... anyway.

Looks like the gradient of Mess.

  • Creating a gradient in particular

    Hello

How to create a gradient as the Attaché in Photoshop?

    Thank you!

    GRADIENT_QUESTION.jpg

There are two ways you can do and the two are very similar.

You can apply a foreground to transparent gradient on the image it self. (it's destructive)

You can create a mask and apply a black to white gradient in the mask for this layer of (non-destructive) image

The advantage of going the road of mask is that the color will be filled with color regardless of the layer below the image. (If no layer is there it simulate white but is actually transparent) The layer does not have to be a solid color, it could be a model, another gradient, or even an image. This allows you to explore styles of layer as shadows and glows.

Make sure just that if you go the road of mask that you record in a format that supports masks, layers and transparency as psd or tiff. This is so that no matter when in the future you can change your mind and change or remove the mask. That at that time, you would see the original image.

  • Create a gradient with my own

This may seem like a really stupid question, but how to create a gradient using my own colors? I've recently updated CS3 form where I could just drag a shade of color on the slider to set the color of gradient. Now I can not do. If I try with one of the default colors it works without problem, but if I create my own swatch and then I get a circle with a line through it, saying: I can't do it.

I'm probably wrong but I can not work what and you'd be grateful for any help.

    Thank you

    Lucy,

There may be something wrong with the prferences. Try the following (you may have tried / some of them already) and see if that helps you (the following is a general list of things, try when he's not in a file specific; 3) and 4) specifically may be corrupted preferences):

    (1) close Illy and open again.

    (2) restart the computer (maybe three times);

    (3) close Illy and press Ctrl + Alt + Shift / Cmd + Option + shift during startup (easy, but irreversible);

    4) to move the folder with closed Illy (more tedious but also more thorough and reversible);

    ((5) browse and try the relevant among the other options (point 7) is a list of the usual suspects among other applications which can disturb and confuse Illy);

Even worse, if no other solution appears, you can:

    (6) uninstall, run the cleanup tool and reinstall.

  • How to create a uniform gradient w / Soft Edge & filter

    FaqHeader2.png

Hello, Im using photoshop 6 and Im trying to apply an effect to a photo of the banner, which will be compatible for more pictures of the banner of the same size.

I have attached a picture of this.

As you can see the gradient (which contains the text) starts with a gray and then white. The right edge that meets the blue sky is not a hard edge but rather a soft edge.

I'm not sure how to create that soft edge. Someone else had mentioned to use the gradient with colors of gray to white then to transparent to create this right edge soft.  I'm not sure how to implement that.

I used a brush in this case, and as you can see, the line is uneven.

Also, I think that the filter used here is ripple or Ocean Ripple.

I was hoping if someone could guide me through what would be the correct steps to create this effect, so that I can use systematically for several photos

Oh, I see, 6 PS. The pieces here on the layers of filling and the Layer Styles does not apply, but mounting method is the same:

    ---------------------------------------------------

First, open the gradient editor by clicking on the gradient in the toolbar of the dialog for a gradient fill layer or options:

Set up a gradient of gray and white, then add a transparent stop just not the white judgment:

Enter a name and click "New" to save him. You can also save as part of a layer with Gradient Overlay Style.

  • How to create a pattern gradient in Illustrator

I don't know the best way to describe what it is, so I'm the appellant a "gradient pattern. Basically, I'm trying to figure out how to make a gradient like the one in the photo, where the forms are located in the upper part and disperse evenly down. Any advice on this is appreciated, thanks!7426_Techfit_Primeknit_MF.png

It does not really resemble a traditional mask opacity job for me because there is no actual all bland, its more to do with the gradual change of size and spacing of the forms in the model. an opacity mask would be a great way to face fading from 100% to 0% in the tone of a model, but it could probably be done with future adjustments easier to 'fill' just a model with a shade of color gradient?

There was some discussion recently that resembled halftone patterns and a guy showed how to use different (other than the default points) forms under the mixed model that would achieve the result of half of this design superior. you will have to look a few threads of halftone pattern to identify it.

as a simple manual option you could just draw the shape on top, then scale and adjust one down and use a form to make a "column of the model, then repeat it across the page.

the lower part dotty looks more like a traditional model of halftone, Phantasm plugin allows great control of things like that, or you can just play with a radial gradient black and white as a fill of a circle and use the model of half-tone effect to create the points.

OK, Bob. This give a try.

First, open a new file and make sure the background is white, not on Transparent that I suspect you have currently defined.

Then, type your copy. Your layers panel will then look like the top of this picture...:

and when you drag the text on the image layer, it will look like the lower part of the sample above.

You can then position the text layer with the tool move
