How to create these pencil-like traits?

Hi all

I was wondering if anyone has any ideas on how to replicate aspects of the image in the link (from uni the Unicorn children's book): http://www.thechildrensbookreview.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/02/Uni-the-Unicorn1.jpg

Question 1: pencil-ish grass blades are made with the pen tool or a trace of paint? They look very pencil-drawn as if it were just copied with a pencil.

Question 2: I see that there is a pencily or cloudy translucent quality to the leaves. I am aware of the opacity and masks, but they did not apply a certain type of stroke to create this textured translucency? It was done by hand or does it all done on illustrator? The techniques have such a quality handmade...

Thanks for your help

Allie

This looks like it could have been done with several techniques, but this isn't really something done in Adobe Draw.

You can see Adobe sketch instead.

Question1: Adobe Sketch!

Question2: You can paint with different opacity values in the brush settings.

You can also try Photoshop CC. (or BOTH: SEE below)

Here's something that I just doodled in sketch using each of the brushes.  It was about 10 minutes of scribbling.

I've saved the project in my Adobe CC library (or send it to Photoshop).  Each drawing is imported as a single layer, which can be assembled in a single PSD

You can not. Not in PS. It is a Voronoi tesselation motif created by dividing a contour of mesh 3D accordingly. Of course the filter Crystalize product model, but like cards post 3d are based on uniform grid subdivision, you do not get the vertices and edges. There you go...

How to create a button in the button "print" below?

I was actually thinking of doing it two separate buttons placed side by side. The "print" button, of course would be just updated the Boolean value, that is easy. But the drop down menu is a bit more difficult. I tell myself that I could customize a drop down, but because I was not able to play with it in LabVIEW (don't have it at home) I don't know if you can change the alignment of the drop-down box actually etc. The decline is down to the location of the box and look like something you can change in the control editor?

I guess I could also use correct .net? But I'll try to keep it all with just control editing in LabVIEW if possible. Thank you.

    ZErC3Dv.png

    Or on the same points.

Please, I would like to know!

    Try this:

    File > new. 3 "x 3"

Draw a guide 1 "down from the top and 1" from the left.

Select the white box, Inverse the selection and editing > complete with gray or any other color green

It will look like the image below.

Reduce the size to 6.25% of original

    It now looks like this

Edition > set the model and click OK

    Open the new file.

Edit > fill > model and choose the model that you had saved.

This is the result, which can then be reduced and integrated in the design

  • How to create a form like this?

I want to create something like this:

    navbar.png

I have now the idea of creating images from scratch, I hope that you can help me.

Something like that could be done in Photoshop using tools such as the pen tool. Since it is symmetric, essentially, you would create a half of the shape can duplicate, flip, and merge all as a single form. You would create while all the effects on the shape later as shadow and texture.

But the pen tool can be difficult for some users to understand. Adobe Illustrator may be your best bet in this case.

    Hello!

    It is very easy

    (1) take a photo

    2) ask google image for some flares

    (3) for this image, I have chosen these 2 images

It is better to draw yourself, google can not give us everything we need to (())

    (4) that in your first image and the blending mode must be screen (it's the master secret).

That move and transform your lights. That's all.

    Hope this will help you

P.S. I don't think that these lights are good for this image. It is only a technology.

  • How to create a layout like this: TreeField with variable RowHeight

    Hello

Is there a way to make a TreeField with the variable row height?  According to the javadoc, it implements the VariableRowHeightProvider interface. However, setRowHeight applies to all rows in the TreeField.

If I had to replace the method of painting of TreeField, how can I determine the high coords (x, y) lines that fall in the visible screen area?

    -MO.

This has been discussed on the forum several times. Unfortunately, TreeField does not support variable line heights, despite the suggestive interface of the VariableRowHeightProvider. This interface is not exposed publicly, isn't available for application developers.

I tried using setRowheight within the TreeFieldCallback and found that, on some devices, it worked if it was used to set the height of the Next line. Unfortunately once again, this proved to be a false hope, because it does not on other devices/OS versions. (I was using 4.2.1.)

The best options seem to be to implement your own custom field or patch something together using a mixture of other types of fields, according to René.

  • How to create a tile of charms in Windows 8

I also have a monitor extended to my right and that gets in the way suddenly. • How to create a form of clipping as a slice of circle paths?

I want to make a DVD label by dividing the circle into 8 equal slices (like cutting a pie 4 times). In each installment, I'll put a photo of an actor in it.

I think I need to create 8 layer with 8 slices of picture, each layer Gets a clipping path that has the shape of a slice of 45 degrees of the circle. Once I have this setup I can paste photos into layers and adjust photos up to what it seems good in confines of each slice.

The question is how to create these paths of clipping in the form for a share of the cake? I've already drawn a circle of 120mm (using the elipse tool), indicating the outer limit of the dvd label. But I do not know how to cut in 8 specific increments of 45 degrees of each. Help?

Basically, fair value guides on tangents bounding the circle four and also two it crosses both horizontally and vertically. The intersections of the guide resulting allows to draw the eight sections of the circle. Then, just use the intersect mode in your tool path overlap each of these 8 triangles with a copy of the original circle.
