I then had a bit of work to do to find the correct profile files, the installation creates a profile directory in AppData/Local/Thunderbird as well as in AppData/Roaming/Thunderbird. Roaming profiles is the device. I copied the contents of the Profile / xxxxxx.default on the machine of relief to the Profile / yyyyy.default on the new installation, replacement of existing items, and voila, everything is good.
