  The mass storage mode only works with a media card on the curve. I think that the "BOLD" is the only phone that can have the internal reader works in mass storage mode.

  Ahhh... OK... This is the BB OS package you want to download, not the Ko (as you say). OK... Sorry I'm confused here.

  The easiest way is, on a PC (you can not do on MAC):

  1) uninstall all the BB OS packages from your PC,

  (2) make sure you have the BB Desktop Software already installed

  (3) download and install to your PC, the BB OS package you want:

  (5) run the Desktop software and connect your BB... the software should offer the operating system package you have installed on your PC.   I got some bad news! You can't disable the sound card in the BIOS. The BIOS for laptops is just different as BIOS for the desktop PC and the menus are not the same.
