  I have recently inherited this mess of a VI and can not figure out how to increase the sampling rate. I tried to change the "ms of waiting ' clock, but it does not add more data points." The main VI, as well as the Subvi, which contains a Daq Assistant to a load cell and LVDT is attached. Any ideas on how to improve the sampling without a complete overhaul would be greatly appreciated!

• Cannot deploy the sample applications of the MAF

  I try to install some of the sample applications on the MAF ( jdev_install/jdeveloper/jdev/extensions/oracle.maf/Samples Directory) on my Android (version 4.4.2) phone without success.

  I use jDev build JDEVADF_12.1.3.0.0_GENERIC_140521.1008.S

  If I have a deployment on an Android package using default deployment profiles, I get the following error:

  "Impossible to deploy the profile because the project 'ViewController.jpr' is not a MAF ApplicationController or ViewController project. (oracle.adfmf.framework.dt.deploy.features.deployers.FeatureArchiveDeployer).

  I searched this error in this forum and found this:

  MAF: Build Error "adfmf - not found feature.xml.

  Then I updated the patch of the MAF, and I still get the same error.

  I then fiddled around a bit dependencies of properties/deployment/Android1/Application Profile

  Now I can deploy on my phone, but the application hangs on the splash screen.  Can anyone advise on what things should be checked in the profile dependencies?

  

  OK, I finally understood what is the question.

  After installing the patch of the MAF, jDev so ask to restart your computer, but for some reason any on my computer this can last from a few minutes to a few days!  The first time that I installed the patch, after a reboot, through the Assistant jDev update request I clicked on OK and jDev stop and waited so he could restart. 5 minutes later, it started so I thought I'd launch myself, so I did.  But what I didn't know that in my list of system processes, jDev was still working (perhaps even install the patch).  Here's a screenshot of my system process (that I took during my third attempt, since I suspect something):

  

  Thus, while this process jDev was hanging out, I started jDev myself and ended up having two jDev processes running.  One that I started manually didn't have the MAF Patch applied, but I thought he did it because I just went through the Update Wizard.

  And so all the trouble, I have tried to deploy the sample applications of the MAF.

  I didn't knew that this much later because a few days later, a splash jDev screen suddenly arisen WHILE I was USING jDev, I knew was because the first time, install the patch jDev prompted to restart the computer.

  Only on the third time reinstall jDev and the patch of the MAF has waited more jDev to restart, and when he finally did restart on its own (3 minutes later) that I checked my installation of the fix for the MAF and found that it was installing successfully.

  I then tried to deploy the sample applications of the MAF again and this time it worked.

  So, in summary, because he took if jDev long reboot after installation of the patch of the CRG, I advanced and started jDev myself, but this instance of jDev, I started upward has not installed the fix of the MAF, and so the trouble I had to deploy the samples of the MAF.

  I hope that something can be improved here so that other users the same tracks as I do not work in the same problems in the future.  It can be as simple as a message before reboot in saying the user to wait jDev restart on its own, otherwise their patch will not install.

  We currently have Adobe CC deployed on more than 4,000 computers, I am now looking to update installation on the newer versions that are 2015. If I create a new package it installs the latest but it also lets older versions of 2014.

  Is there a way to delete the versions of 2014? Or can we update the versions of 2014 and 2015?

  in the cc office application, there is an option to remove the older versions, but I don't know about the enterprise deployment.  You should check the documentation of the company.

  After installation of stand-alone, run the "Admin Center".

  From there, start the Web Applications of BPM. Once this starts, you should be able to click on the "launch process Admin".

  After signing in (user created during installation), click on the 'Projects' link on the left. This will display all of the ongoing projects. From there, you can 'Add' a project using the export created in studio (file-> Export).

  * Note: This implies that the installation is complete and the two databases (directory and engine) were created.

  The Eclipse plugin will create two folders when you generate your widget

  -OTAInstall

  -StandardInstall

  These two files contain the files you need to deploy your widget in different scenarios.  If you want to load your widget via the Desktop Manager or via BES, you use the files located in the StandardInstall directory.  This will include all *.cod file and the *.alx file.

  If you want to deploy your application by a person clicking on a hyperlink in their BlackBerry browser, you will need the files in the OTAInstall directory.  This will include all files *.cod and *.jad file.  Simply, you validate the *.cod on a webserver and *.jad files and provide the URL to the *.jad file to your BlackBerry user.

  I want to create a plugin for my Web application running in Tomcat 6.  Ideally, I could just extend the tomcat plugin to add my metric webapp / JMX port and then see it under my current Tomcat server that Hyperic is already followed.
  
  does anyone know how to do this?  I'd rather not have 2 different versions of the same tomcat server, and I prefer not to lose the hierarchy of the system.

  The best way to do it is not to change the tomcat plugin, but instead of writing your own plugin that defines a service like as follows:

  This will make your children services of the server type "Apache Tomcat 6.0". There are some examples of plugins in the samples directory. Even if they are not specific to Tomcat 6.0 they show you examples of how to add your own service to an existing server.

  We run on Win 7 platform with ESR Firefox version 31.4.0. We want to disable the blocker for popups for specific sites. I tried to use FirefoxADM_0.5.9.4 to apply the Group Policy settings, but it does not work. When I look at the file firefox_login.vbs, there is a line mentioning registry parameter FirefoxPopupsWhitelistKey = WshShell.regread("HKCU\Software\Policies\Firefox\FirefoxPopupWhitelist") but I can not find this key on the computer.

  Is that what anyone has experience deploy this type of settings? If this isn't the case, I'm also open to hearing about how to disable the blocker for popups completely.

  If this can be done via Group Policy, please let me know another way I can do this. I read the topic: configuration config, but I found all the settings to disable the context menu.

  Firefox saves all exceptions to the permissions.sqlite file, so you need to use a SQLite Manager extension or program to modify this database.

  Disable the popup blocker in Firefox would be easier, as it would need only to switch a pref and can be done via a mozilla.cfg file.

  You can use a mozilla.cfg file in the Firefox program folder to lock the prefs or specify new values (default).

  Put a local file - settings.js in the folder defaults\pref also the file prefs.js - channel where to specify using mozilla.cfg.

  You can specify the sampling frequency with "DAQmx Timing.vi" located in the function palette DAQmx (read context-sensitive help on how to use wisely).

  You do not have to use M & A exploring (MAX) to create a task.

  A simple and quick way is to use DAQ Assistant (same configuration as in MAX) to configure your measurement.

  Another is to use blocks of DAQmx function to manually build your application code.

  In my experience Assistant DAQ is ideal for simple tasks (one measure), with regard to the more complex measures (synchronized the analog and digital inputs).

  I tend to use function blocks because they give you more freedom about code execution.

  Note: You can also build DAQmx code from a wizard configured DAQ task.

  I managed to manually collect 16 channels of analog signals (writing custom file VI) using a command Boolean start/stop.  I would like to allow the user to set a term of the sample on the front panel (for example, 20 seconds) and initiate sampling by clicking a start button.  The user can also put an end to the reception of the data before the end of the set time by clicking a stop button.  I looked at several examples of countdown timer, but could not figure out how to integrate it with my VI.  All suggestions and examples will be very appreciated.

  You are far too complicated. On the one hand, there is the function elapsed time on your palette. Secondly, as already mentioned, there is a relationship of basic arithmatic between samples per second and the number of samples to be read. Use you will get samples more than this as requested anyway. Finally, your code shows two analog read tasks. You can do that, unless there are two separate devices.
