  • How to disable the administrator password

Need to know how to disable the adminastrator password

Go to control panel, user accounts.

You will see the options there.  You must be logged on to this account and/or have the available password of course.
FYI-for your own PC security, it is often recommended that you keep a password for the user account at the time you need, but for everyday use, you use a standard user account.

  • Windows Update was disabled by your system administrator

I was playing with a system configuration utility and decided that I didn't like it so I uninstalled. Several days passed before I noticed something wrong. Now my Update window buttons are missing from start / all programs/windows update and Internet explore/tools/windows update. When I do a windows update, I get a message error "windows update was disabled by your system administrator. If I set the automatic update, it works fine. I preferred to do windows update manually, so it don't interrupt me wile I do something. I've been in contact with the software support and they tell me to do the antivirus scans. I ran malwarebytes, found nothing. Kaspersky found some problems and clean. I've been in touch with tech Kaspersky forum and they give me a certificate of good health. No two seem to be much help to solve the problem.  I can't know this, but I think not what what Kaspersky found in my firefox cache caused this. Can you help me solve this problem?

Note: This section, method, or task contains steps that tell you how to modify the registry. However, serious problems can occur if you modify the registry incorrectly. Therefore, make sure that you proceed with caution. For added protection, back up the registry before you edit it. Then you can restore the registry if a problem occurs. • Try to activate Vista's problem reports, but get the message "Windows incident reports are disabled." and some settings are managed by your system administrator

Original title: trying to activate the Vist problem reports, but get message "Windows problem reports are disabled."

"Windows problem report is disabled." I can't activate the problem reports and Solutions on my Windows Vista computer.  When I click on "Change settings", I would be prompted with the following message if poster "some settings are managed by your system administrator."  It's personal PC at home.  I don't know how to activate it.  I already went to political group & register to adjust some settings.  But still unable to activate this.

All settings are disabled as this.

    This problem only recently.

    Method 1

    System Restore does not work.

    Method 2

Disable the antivirus software does not work.

But after some research, I realized that the problem could be due to a recent installation of a PC anti-frustration software called Soluto (the star was "Activate Crash Handler Soluto").  It worked after that.  After uninstalling, I rebooted the PC system.  After the reboot, I checked the reports on the problems and Solutions and found I could now adjust advanced settings.  I have also reinstalled the software, Soluto and ensured that this time, "activate Crash Handler Soluto" not was not checked (i.e. enabled).

  • How to reset the password for the system administrator for Time Capsule?

I need to do a system restore to 2008 MacBook my wife of my 2014 Time Capsule, and I'm stuck at the system administrator password prompt. It does not accept the password to base such as revealed by the Airport utility station > base station > show passwords on my MBP, which is able to save and enter Time Machine, even if the TC is configured to use individual accounts rather than a single disk password. I'm nervous about any base station reset option in case I spoil my backup. How can I me?

Although TC is configured to use individual accounts rather than a single disk password

You must use the right of the user and the password in this case. NOT the password from the drive.

I'm nervous about any base station reset option in case I spoil my backup. How can I me?

Reset complete... It will not damage the backups somehow... It simply returns to the default values.

Let me recommend to you if you want to continue using the TC in this way... (useless IMHO). Please do an export of the configuration before factory reset you.

With the help of user and passwords in the TC is near useless. It only affects the side of the router...

If you need more security using encrypted backups... but the reality is... the security more you add less useful the backup is likely to be. As you have now discovered... When you need it... you need as clear and clear as possible.

    Hello

It seems that the AVG software on your computer is damaged. The best step that I can recommend is uninstall AVG and reinstall. This time, I recommend you to uninstall and install AVG by downloading a more recent version using the AVG removal tool.
