How to download Microsoft Office

Original title: MicrosoftOffice

I'm looking for Microsoft with the words, excel and power point where can I get it for free download.

Go to msn.com and click on office near the top. These are the web versions and are free. The full versions are only available by purchase. Hope this helps and if you need any additional aid station and we will be happy to help you.

    Welcome to the HP Forum.

The easiest option if you have friends nearby (those living with tech), is to borrow a DVD USB drive and plug it into the laptop for a few minutes so that you can download your software.

You can buy this kind of tech pretty cheap, too.

If you have your key, it should be in the CD box, you can probably download Microsoft Office - according to the version - and just use the key you already activate it.

  • Download Microsoft Office Home & Student 2007 but the automatic updates do not work.

Hello. Thanks in advance for your help here.

I am at a loss to know what to do.

Recently, I downloaded Microsoft Office Home & Student 2007, which seems to be very well. The problem is the automatic updates do not work. After searching online, I did the start > run > Winver and he says I have Service Pack 3. Then I went to control panel in Add/Remove Programs, and even if it is listed, there is no indication that it is actually installed.

I remember a year or there are problems with SP3, when I tried to upgrade to IE8 so "I THINK" I removed it. Probably shouldn't have done that!  But IE8 has worked fine once I removed it. Microsoft says that we will no longer receive automatic updates to SP2 in June and so we have to upgrade to SP3.  Well, I just don't know what I have on my computer at this point!

Anyway, now I get these failed messages on the updates for the Office:

The 2007 Microsoft Office Suite Service Pack 2 (SP2)
Update for Microsoft Office System 2007 (KB967642)
Update of security for Microsoft Office System 2007 (KB951944)
Update of security for Microsoft Office 2007 (KB951550)

So I thought I'd download the SP2.  But I did not know if Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0 Service Pack 2 actually means I have SP2 installed or not.  And I got in such a mess last year I don't want to take any chances again.

I'm sorry that it is a message that is too long. I tried to print screens to attach more information, but that did not work. Let me know what you need.

Thank you very much in advance for your help.

    Diane

I found more information. Looking in my history of update for automatic updates, all 4 of these updates failed have the same error Code which is: 0 x 80070663.  I don't know if this info helps solve this problem or not, but that's it.

    Hello

    a. you are able to download and install updates in Windows other than Microsoft Office?

If you have SP3 listed in the Windows Version (winver) which ensures that you have Windows XP SP3 installed.

Let us download the updates manually and install them, here are the links to download.

Note: Make sure also that you have the prerequisites installed as indicated in the articles above.

    I hope this helps.

Thank you, and in what concerns:

I just bought a new HP Envy DV6 and can work out how to open microsoft office.  When I try he asks me a product key of microsoft Office was preinstalled, so I don't have a product key!  Any suggestions?

What version of Microsoft Office is this?

If its Office 2010, you can buy a copy from amazon.com/software because Microsoft is no longer at the price of Office 2010.

If his Office 365/Office 2013, you can sign up for a trial key to:

  • How to uninstall Microsoft Office trial on Satellite A200?

I have a Satellite A200. It came with Vista Premium, but I've since upgraded to Ultimate. It came with a 60 day trial of Office 2007, which I'm not interested. I installed Office XP (that works). However the emails etc. documents will be opening in Word 2007. Installation because this causes an error, even if it still seems to work when you get rid of the error message.

What I really want to do, is to uninstall the trial. However he won't let me - it goes through 'Preparation to uninstall' and then disappears and nothing has changed and the program is still there. In the Microsoft Office folder, 2 versions seem to have become intertwined. I uninstalled Office XP and tried to uninstall 2007 after that, but still no joy.

Don't know if it has something to do with the fact that the installation did not complete successfully.
Any ideas anyone on how to get rid of it?

    Val

Usually, you should be able to remove applications in Windows Vista-> software settings.

What you could do is to remove the whole Office 2007. The Office usually remains files here:
    C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office

Then you can use a 3rd party freeware application called CCleaner to clean the registry!

There is no problem with Office 2010 Windows Vista. The only one
possible incompatibility, I can think is that you have 32-bit
Windows Vista and you try to put Office 64 bit on it.

You buy a genuine Windows 7 license. The copy of Windows 7 Ultimate, you have installed is an OEM SLP license that should only be preloaded with a new PC. You seem to have installed a copy of Windows 7 Ultimate that uses an activation exploit that bypasses the product activation.

We know that it is because the BIOS date:

    20090115000000.000000 + 000

Windows 7 was released in October 2009, the date of your BIOS says January 2009, which probably means your system is provided with Windows Vista or Windows XP.

In addition, he is a well known Windows 7 Ultimate license which has been used all over the web:

    Windows product key: *-* - Q6MMK - KYK6X-VKM6G

Do a search on the web.

Thus, you must either charge your version of Windows that came on your computer (Vista or XP) or consider purchasing a license of Windows 7 genuine.
