I installed Windows Vista Premium, what update of software operation or the command to download Microsoft Office
I'm looking to download and install Microsoft Office 2010. My operating system is Vista Premium. Attempt Office 2010 download, I get a message that the software will not download because I need different software Windows operating. Do I need to buy a new software operating system; So then what? Or is there a method to allow the download and usage of Office 2010 with Vista Premium?

There is no problem with Office 2010 Windows Vista. The only one
possible incompatibility, I can think is that you have 32-bit
Windows Vista and you try to put Office 64 bit on it.

I have 2 desktop computers Dell Inspiron 530 s. We're Home Basic and the other is Home Premium. Can I install the award-winning family OS install disc on computer Basic. The base OS has Intel (R) Celeron (R) CPU * address email is removed from the privacy * with 1.00 GB memory. Is it possible to do without having to buy an upgrade of the enuff premium and which would be to support the BONES of premium if it is possible to do?

The recovery discs are for the particular computer, they came with.
If your computer is pre-installed with Vista, it is classified as an OEM license and is not transferable.
The license of Vista OEM is related to the original computer it is installed on and dies with the computer.
You cannot transfer it to another computer/laptopSee you soon. Mick Murphy - Microsoft partner

I have Windows Vista 32 bit pre-installed on my computer and now I'm ready to add more memory to my machine.
I've already paid for Windows Vista, when I bought my Dell computer a few years (I "réinstallation DVD Windows Vista Home Premium 32-bit").
I guess I can legally get and install the 64 bit version of the same operating system (I mean for free, of course)? I don't want to pay for Windows 7.
Whether or not it is an option would be between you and Dell. Copies of the retail Windows come with two discs, but OEM copies that are sold with computers come with one or the other, the one that you ordered when you ordered the computer. If Dell doesn't want to or can't provide you with a copy, then no one else is able to.

Hi man chic,
1. This only happens when you try to install the printer HP or with other programs?
Step 1:
Before you install Windows Vista SP2, uninstall completely printing software.
Check out the link to uninstall a program:
http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows-Vista/uninstall-or-change-a-program
Step 2:
After installing SP2, try to install the latest version of the drivers available for the printer and the printer and check if it helps.

Windows Vista cannot be updated because the service does not work!
Windows Vista will not update because it says that the service is not running. He said I might have to restart the computer.
I tried several reboots the computer.
I tried to get into the services and manually stop and restart the service. Nothing seems to work.
I'm downloading the SP2 for Vista, let's see if that fixes the problem.
Any help?

You can make one in place-setting day (repair install) using the dvd. Who reinstall Windows, but does not remove your programs, drivers and files. You should back up your data first just in case.
The dvd must be equal to the same service pack level or higher than the windows that you fix. Check the label on the dvd to see if includes a service pack. If this isn't the case, you must uninstall service packs on your system before you begin. Subsequently, you will need enable back again to Windows Update.
Start the in place--update by inserting the dvd while the office is running. Click on install now on the start screen, enter your product key when asked and choose install upgrade when the Setup Type selection screen appears.
Until you do, you can run the System File Checker, because it can replace the files with the right that are cached on your damaged system. Click Start, type "cmd" in the search/Run box and right-click on the CMD icon at the top of the results pane. Select run as administrator. When the cmd window type "sfc/scannow" at the prompt and press ENTER. When the scan is finished, close the cmd window. Reset. That can solve your problem without having to reinstall. It can not but its worth a shot.

My windows Vista (sp2) contains updates it refuses to install!
(1) Microsoft .NET Framework 4 on Windows (KB2468871)(2) update for Microsoft .NET Framework 4 (KB2533523)and(3) update for Microsoft Silverlight (KB2617986) this update of Silverlight includes the fixes described in KBs 2604930 and 2617986.When I tried to get help via the MS support, I was told that my install Silverlight could be the problem and uninstall all previous versions and install a new one.The current version on my machine is 3. something or other (Google Chrome me briefly earlier, but I can't seem to tell me yet again!) He also pointed out that the current version is 5. something or other. However, I don't know--according to the functionality of uninstall in Control Panel - my version was installed on 21/01/2010 - about 7 months after I got the satellite (a Toshiba). It occurs to me - as it has been ongoing for awhile I fought first to make this thing work and then ignore it (neither of which, it seems, I am able of!)-update Windows is trying to apply can be updated too!According to the update of Windows, all three of these updates have downloaded - but I am not sure where... When I tried to uninstall the old version of Silverlight, Windows Uninstall (via Control Panel) tells me that I need the Silverlight installation disc to go ahead. I've never had one! What can I do? Why these upgrades do not work? It has been for months! Help, please.ColinHello

Genuine Windows clean install
Hello
I had a problem with my laptop Acer Extensa 5230th. It was not started and so I took for Matech computers. They diagnosed as having a mechanical drive problem. So they replaced the drive and installed a more recent version of windows vista on. Note: I haven't bought a new copy of vista family premium, he said he was going to reinstall vista. It had windows Vista Home Basic, it has installed vista Home premium and said that he had validated by call from windows, but I'm suspicious because I don't think you can use a base of windows key to validate Home premium! It means that he has put on an illegal version on windows or used the genuine key that came with the laptop. In addition, on computers of brands, if this happens again, how is a technician for legally to reinstall the original windows that it came with the new hard drive? How to install windows vista basic on the new hard drive by using the original key to make it genuine? What windows installation disc would you require? or is it easier to just buy a new copy of windows? I heard that many technicians, prefer to install illegal versions of cracking of windows instead of the customer to buy the new installation of windows.Kind regardsLewisHere are some utilities which displays product key Vista Matech used to activate Windows:

(He did a good job of providing a wealth of information.
However may not detect a key to office, then try one of the other two below)Also: http://www.magicaljellybean.com/keyfinder.shtml
and: http://www.nirsoft.net/utils/product_cd_key_viewer.htmlPlease do not post your key on this forum, rather checking to see if it matches the key on your laptop, I(Correction: "if it isn't') it will fall sooner or later"Non-genuine"that your key was for another version of Vista so what was installed.

Can I save on all windows vista premium updates that failed?
I am using windows Vista Premium, as mentioned above, and I have updates that have failed up to two years. I started with 'SP1' and I migrated to "SP2" despite the large number of updates failed.
I also have a large number of chess updates for Office 2007 and a few others. I should probably mention that my original Vista Acer drive has been moved (probably lost). I'm operating a valid OS despite self made. and manuals windows license verification work. In the end, it seems that these updates failed eventually cause problems.Translate... Can I just start their withdrawal in reverse order? Please advise, I'm at whits end!Greetings to all, mddocohMeans failed, that updates have not been installed; so there is nothing to remove.
You could try to reset the update components and see if that helps

the HP recovery discs do not normally require an input key product on your part
It's a good idea to always write it down in a safe place and away from the computer
Unfortunately, these stickers wear away very easily
