  Since the update to LabVIEW 2014 this week, I have a problem with the code that worked (or didn't, but the problem was unnoticable).

I searched for information help with this and I found a few tips that not saved and re-entered the files, I tried and different versions of the idea, at first it made no difference and then I redid it and it screwed up my weather gadgets so I redid it and they worked very well. I then tried on the DLLs for the MSNBC gadget, but it doesn't seem to change anything, although the gadget to power for the Dow Jones News feed is now screwed up. Is there a site I can go to what can explain the route of binary/specified path or debug file. Save/re seems to be the right path, it affects obviously the gadgets but not as I want, any help in this direction would be appreciated at. Meanwhile I'll go back and try again.

  I don't understand how you use 'screen' mode on a single image of fusion, but it's the effect you're trying to get (I used a blue color to show the transparent area at the bottom of the image):

  

  I used the free plugin KillWhite (http://mikes3d.com/extra/scripting-plugins/killwhite/) with your image:

  1. Convert the image to RGB.  (Image... Moye... RGB color)
  2. Duplicate the background layer (Ctrl + J).
  3. Reverse the colors on this duplicate layer (Ctrl + I), so that the black background becomes white.
  4. Used KillWhite to... Well... to kill the white on this layer.
  5. Invert the colors once again.
  6. Used improve... Lighting... Brightness/contrast and levels to darken the lapping of water.
  7. Added my flower image below the layer of water splash and raised the lower edge of the image of the flower to leave a transparent area.

  In my opinion, the configuration files are the easiest method and the best.  Simply save your last values to the file when your code ends.  At the beginning of your code, to read the file and fill in the controls with the values read.  With the configuration files, the section name can be the name of the cluster, and key names can be control names.

  I know OpenG has some pretty nice to do, but I prefer to use the native functions OR when I can.  When porting to a new system, there is no need to copy any additional screws library (OpenG library).  The native DV come with Labview.
