How to export records of individual bookmarks?
In early versions of Firefox there that a practice Add On named Synchonizer bookmarks, including the latest version has been updated by Torisugari. This enabled on individual files be exported and imported.
Ideal for sharing information between colleagues, where you don't necessarily want to have access to all your favorite folders.
Is this possible in Firefox 4? I don't see how to do it, and does not seem to offer either XMarks.
I just found a great way! Use http://xmarks.com/ | Xmarks Xmarks!
You sync your bookmarks online and you can also choose to synchronize folders. Synchronize only the folders you want to share/export, so only to see them place on xmarks. Then when you export bookmarks xmarks, you have only the folder/files you want.
Haha, in thinking about it, I'm sure I'll start using it!
Xmarks is not a disservice to have anyway, and it takes a few minutes to get rolling.

How to export their files orginazed bookmarks
When I imported my favorites from my MS browser that they all were organized in folders as they were in the browser Ms. Now, when you go to export Firefox bookmarks I receive in a sorted order lack there organized records. This is not acceptable. Must have exported them grouped in folders there. How can I get this done?
Although Firefox creates an HTML document as the export base format (bookmarks Firefox export to a HTML file for backup or transfer bookmarks), it does not include the style rules to create the page, so it seems flat. However, the structure is there. If you want to see indented to display the hierarchy of folders, you can add a style rule by opening the file in a text editor such as Notepad or Wordpad. You can paste the following between the < TITLE > and < H1 >:
<style type="text/css"> dl dl {margin-left:0.5in;} </style>
(That this fact is dash any element dl (definition list) which is in another dl element (i.e., nested folder) by half an inch.)
You can use the file > save as to avoid damage to the original file.

Some records are not in my list of bookmarks; individual bookmarks can be found in the search, but the folder does not appear in the list of bookmarks, and results do not indicate where the individual bookmarks.
You can use an add-on to display add a column to the Library dialog box for the folder of the bookmark.
https://addons.Mozilla.org/firefox/addon/show-parent-folder/
The extension can indicate only the name of the folder or you can view the full path via the menu in the folder. This full path option is useful if a file accidentally gets you drag somewhere in order to explore the it and find it.
To access the settings of the extension, you can use the page modules. Either:
- CTRL + SHIFT + a
- "3-bar" menu button (or tools) > Add-ons
In the left column, click Extensions. Then, find the Options button under the specific extension.
A little luck?

My PC crashed. Restored on a new record and a new installation of FireFox. I can still access all the files on the old drive. How do I take the old bookmarks if no backup exists, or has been completed? Does not save bookmarks of FireFox auto? If, then what is the file name and where is normally stored by FireFox?
In fact, it can be easier...
If you have the old drive connected as, say, drive E, go to:
E:\Users\username
Then click in the address bar and paste it after this and press ENTER to open it:
\AppData\Roaming\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles
Normally, you have only one file, which has a random string followed by "default." In this case, click on this file and find the subfolder bookmarkbackups.
If you find multiple profile folders, look inside to find the most recently updated backups.
To restore the backup files, see: restore bookmarks from a backup or move them to another computer

This page should be changed to "Show all bookmarks" instead of "Organize Favorites".

How to export Firefox bookmarks partially?
Current bookmarks manager Firefox to only export entire collections of bookmark in an html file. I would like to know how I export partially some of them, not all, in an html file it please?
You cannot export a selection of bookmarks.
You will need to export to a HTML file and edit that file to remove unwanted bookmarks.
Easier is to place a copy of the bookmarks at the end of the folder of bookmarks Menu bookmarks (Library Manager; Bookmarks > show all bookmarks).
Here you can easily find the and paste them into another folder using a text editor. -

How to export the cookies to restore later?
I don't know how to export bookmarks for a later restore. I also want to export cookies that I use on my normal websites, so I can also restore them later.
Thank you
There is an extension which exports cookies to the old text file format. That could allow you to delete the ones your do not want by using a text editor. I think that you would need the extension again to reimport the file (modified) in Firefox.
