  I have half a dozen routers RV042 in various places.  They are running v4.0.0.07.  Apparently at random, I had the

  502 bad Gateway

  The CGI/1.1 CGI was not consistent.

  error when you try to connect to the web interface with google chrome (even with IE too).  This is happening on the side LAN.  I actually didn't notice until my software Opsview monitoring threw up a critical when he did get an http response.

  The router otherwise actually works very well.

  Since the first occurrence, several of my routers have developed the same error.

  I have tried different browsers, clear caches, although I'm not surprised that these efforts were in vain, because clearly there is a problem even when no browser is involved (nagios).  Nagios http checking also returns a 502 Bad Gateway.

  I guess that a reboot is in order, but I'm looking for other explanations/solutions before having to restart because I would like to avoid that if possible.  If I can help more, please let me know.

  I know you are trying to avoid a reboot, but I would try and see if the problem goes away.  The rv series starts acting funky when they have not been restarted for awhile.

  I am trying to Setup VMware SRM 4.1 groups. I had configured hitachi usp vm storage based array replication in both sites.

  Now when I try to pair the two sites vCenter, I get an error at the end of the phase of matching as message "the remote server returned an error: (502) Bad Gateway ' on the protected site. But surprisingly, I am able to match both the vCenters on the recovering site.

  Please help me to get the problem.

The new iMovie for Mac OS has a lot of stock options, but not an option of engraving. Roxio Toast done.   IMac to my wife (OSX10.8.5) was the erratic boot or not at all. Tech Tool Pro running by an e-drive, I find "unexpected character in line 1" of a SystemConfiguration preferences.plist. Here are the first two lines of the plist:

  I don't know what your issue is with this computer, so I can't say if it will change anything. It would really help if you explained what happens when you start & errors and problems that it simply, assuming that this T.T.P. diagnosis is correct is a longshot in my opinion.

  You could probably just pick up a copy of the entire system & "migrate" the user account to access the messaging or contacts on another Mac. Target disk mode can be used to make the drive to a no start Mac readable on another computer for example. You can also dig into his account and find the mail or contacts manually.

  How to use and troubleshoot disk mode target FireWire - Apple Support - you must approve cables to make use of this mode.

  You can of course delete or just move the plist - I daresay that TechTool Pro will have an option for this somewhere in his fix or repair sections?

  This plist manages many parameters of level system & network, so the operating system it will recreate with default values after you remove it & restart. I suggest that you move the file to a new location & restart incase you want to restore. TTP may simply be a mistake if not exists (I got it to do for me in the past - a Mac unbootable!).

  What state is the Mac in? You can access a user login? Is your sole purpose to access the user's data?
