• How to fix audio and video?

  Yes while watching a video (whether on Youtube, etc.) or a downloaded in Quicktime video format will stop after a minute and the buffer or simply freeze (Note: though it has already loaded or is already on my hard drive!), will be so audio. After 15 seconds the sound plays and the video remains frozen.

  Same thing while listening to music (Spotify or Itunes (both downloaded)), the music will stop randomly. After a few seconds, the music will continue with a whistling noise that fades in 5 seconds approximately.

  It started a month ago, and since then, I have tried several things:

  Reinstallation of Flash

  Update of Flash and any other update like OSx

  My mac to a timemachine image backup

  tried several different browsers

  tried several different wireless LANs (although Itunes etc. do not need those)

  has ran a Virus Scan

  Nothing has done so far. I don't know what to try anymore.

  I'm working on a podcast of edition and in the audio I'm editing, comments looks on their phone, they questioned and sometimes it seems that audio sound is either ignoring or cut what kind of sounds like a stutter effect.

• How to fix audio problems with some codecs only?

  Dell Optiplex 7010 bought in January, Windows 7 SP1 with all updates.

  Sometimes during the month, I started to notice that some videos audio was very low and others had very distorted audio. This occurs when streaming video during playback of downloaded files and YouTube etc. A few videos where the sound was fine when I downloaded them are now distorted.

  Other records and videos are fine, normal levels, no change by when I downloaded them.

  The problem is not specific to any video site, player or plug-in. I can confirm by playing the same thing on other devices that the problem is not in the stream or file. So it seems that this must depend on which codec is used. This theory is supported by videos from the same source, generally having the same problem, or no problem.

  I updated the Dell RealTek audio drivers, uninstalled them and used the generic Microsoft drivers, installed the RealTek drivers.

  Audio troubleshooting of Windows detects no problem.

  Disable sound effects has no effect.

  Any suggestions on what else to try?

  I guess I should install a 1394 PC card, plug my PreSonus audio interface and see if that has the same problem.

  What operating system is running your first items 12/12.1? Can we assume that this audio reads OK

  on the same computer when you use a computer independent of Premiere Elements drive?

  I have a laptop Compaq Presario R3000, and I tried to use Skype on it. Problem is that the other end can't hear me. I tried all the suggestions on the site of Skype to try and attach the microphone.  I tried the recorder (click programs, accessories, then entertainment to access), but when I record my voice, nothing, so I guess it has something to do with the microphone. Just to be sure - this model has an internal microphone? What I've read, it seems that it does. I downloaded the updated drivers, so I don't think that's the problem. Any suggestions? I'll try anything now, because I spent about 6 hours online trying to get the microphone to work and so far, nothing. Thank you! Patti

  It's probably the pilots who are responsible and who may not really be later or they need to be
  re-installed anyway. The best way is to manually review using the methods below.

  Control Panel - device - SOUNDS - look for HD Audio Manager - Mine said RealTek High
  Audio definition (this is an example and you can have an other name/maker).

  Write the description and the model double click on it - tab drivers - write down
  Version. Now click on update drivers who cannot do anything as MS is far behind certifying
  drivers. Then CLICK RIGHT on it and UNINSTALL - REBOOT - this will rebuild the driver
  stack.

  You can have the default windows or a former certified pilot and it's all or part of the
  issue.

  Now, go to the site of the manufacturer of the system and get the latest Audio/Sound drivers - download - SAVE - go to
  where you put - right-click on Reboot - RUN AS ADMIN-

  Check the Version tab of the driver in the Device Manager as the restoration of the sound card drivers often
  and then install the latest version. Restart and check after each test, not
  rare to have to run the pilot of 1 to 4 times or more. Just the version make sure you
  installed shows upward on the tab of the driver.
  
  Go to the site of the manufacturer of the device, and then search for the even more recent drivers and install repeat

  You can, but until you get the new driver and install it, you don't have to.  A new write more old.

  For the future to uninstall a driver, you go into the Device Manager.

  Start > Search > type Device Manager > click on the device you want to the right of the update (in this case audio devices) click > uninstall.
