How to fix the microphone in Compaq Presario R3000
Original thread title - how to fix the microphone in Compaq Presario R3000?
Hello
I have a laptop Compaq Presario R3000, and I tried to use Skype on it. Problem is that the other end can't hear me. I tried all the suggestions on the site of Skype to try and attach the microphone. I tried the recorder (click programs, accessories, then entertainment to access), but when I record my voice, nothing, so I guess it has something to do with the microphone. Just to be sure - this model has an internal microphone? What I've read, it seems that it does. I downloaded the updated drivers, so I don't think that's the problem. Any suggestions? I'll try anything now, because I spent about 6 hours online trying to get the microphone to work and so far, nothing. Thank you! PattiHello
1. What problem is only on Skype?
2. were you able to use this microphone earlier?
3 have there been any changes made on the computer before the show?
4. what operating system are you using on your computer?
I suggest you to consult the steps mentioned below and check if it helps.

Last week my desktop pc will not go in standby mode, it stops then am I get the message that he was arrested by mistake. How to fix
Hello
Were there any changes (hardware or software) to the computer before the show?
Method 1 : check the clean boot and see if the problem is solved or not.
To help resolve the error and other messages, you can start Windows Vista or Windows 7 by using a minimal set of drivers and startup programs. This type of boot is known as a "clean boot". A clean boot helps eliminate software conflicts.
Note: perform step 7 to reset the computer to start as usual after the boot process.

Original title: computer hangs on restrting have to swich to then restart windows vesta 64 bit how to fix startup journal
Restart the problem have disc windows do not know how to make a boot fix
Hi John McAvoy,.
(1) since when are you facing this problem?
(2) you get an error message?
I want to clarify if this happens when you start Windows after logging in or before opening a session on windows.
Method 1: Disconnect all external devices (printers, scanner, USB (universal serial bus) readers, etc...) Except the mouse and keyboard > restart the computer and check
If this solves the problem, then add back devices at a time until you discover the piece of hardware causing the issue. Then get any drivers\software update for the device.
Thanks and greetings

Uninstall - REBOOT it will refresh the driver stack.Repeat this for network - card (NIC), Wifi network, sound, mouse, and keyboard if 3rd party
with their own software and drivers and all other main drivers that you have. Now in the system manufacturer (Dell, HP, Toshiba as examples) site (in a restaurant), peripheral
Site of the manufacturer (Realtek, Intel, Nvidia, ATI, for example) and get their latest versions. (Look for
BIOS, Chipset and software updates on the site of the manufacturer of the system here.)Download - SAVE - go to where you put them - right click - RUN AD ADMIN - REBOOT after
each installation.Always check in the Device Manager - drivers tab to be sure the version you actually install
presents itself. This is because some restore drivers before the most recent is installed (sound card drivers
in particular that) so to install a driver - reboot - check that it is installed and repeat as
necessary.Repeat to the manufacturers - BTW in the DO NOT RUN THEIR SCANNER device - check
