  (3) booted safeboot with command prompt

  (4) installed a new wsock32.dll from a previous backup

  (5) delete all files under \Program Files\McAfee

  (6) restarted

  (7) reinstalled McAfee Endpoint 4.5.0.1852

  8) noted that the McAfee options for

  (9) restarted

  (10) checked options... always missing

  (11) \Program Files\VirusScan Enterprise checked for the presence of scan32.exe... He was present
