How to get "Express media player?

Hey how are you doing guys, I think a have a problem here. Last night, I reinstalled the operating system, and obviously, I deleted all because the format and I do not have a CD with the software express media and or have a back on the pc because as I said before, I formatted my pc.

Please I need help. If anyone knows where I could download a copy of this software, let me know quickly.

Hi Drew

Express media player cannot be downloaded. This software is given as recovery CD when you buy new laptops. It's Linux-based application on and must be preinstalled on a partition unallocated.

If possible, try to contact the partner of service authorized in your country. I'm sure they can order one for you.

  • How to get the Media Player 12 to support id3v2.4 tags either directly or indirectly using a 3rd party plugin.

    original title: id3v2.4 MP3 tags

    Hello

someone knows how to get Media Player 12 to support id3v2.4 tags, either directly, or indirectly using a 3rd party plugin. I use a program (Traktor Pro) which is a djing software. It reads my music library and writes specific tags such as BPM id3v2.4 format for MP3 files. After that, WMP cannot display MP3 tags because it seems that you can not read this latest version of id3 standard (which incidentally seems to be interrupted since 2000). End result is that any MP3 in the library seem to be corrupted / lack of tags in WMP12 after being accessed by Traktor Pro

    See you soon

    Shane

    Mr. Gonk,

WMP and WE can read mp3 2.4 tags but can not write them.

ERGO WMP works with 2.4 tags. So where is the problem?  Personally I use a 3rd party editor to write tags (more powerful and you can do more things).

    My 2 Euro cents

    See you soon,.

  • How to get Windows Media Player 12 for open Media Guide automatically more other related problems.

I recently got a new computer with Windows 7 installed. All my files from my old XP computer transferred professionally. When I open WMP display shows "contact the location of the line" and will then quickly "the page you requested could not be found or no longer exists. Under this formulation is a link to www.windowsmedia.com which, once clicked takes me to the screen required.

Also when you click on 'Browse all on line stores' I get a screen with 'Online shopping' and 7 lines of how this choice is a single click but no link is provided.

Although the next upward of question mark 'Help' to the right of the screen is a web address "onlinestores.metaservices.microsoft.com". By clicking on this address has no effect. A search on Google, I noticed that there is a website "www.metaservices.microsoft.com/servicesswitching" which does not seem to get me on the site onlinestores.

It seems that either my WMP12 is programmed with web addresses wrong or there is something already in its "web address box" which is corrupting the web address, so that it is looking.

I M70, but I formatted it once I bought it. Now, you could tell me how to recover the function of Express Media Player? There is no setup.exe file in the Express Media Player recovery CD.

    Thank you

    Hello Weimin

In order to use the media functions Express the Mediaplayer Express Recovery CD must be performed before performing the recovery from the recovery DVD-ROM products.
You can't run Express Media player after performing a recovery.

Should at least 150-200 MB of available free space on the HARD drive.
This free space must be on the end of the HARD drive and there must be unallocated.
To start the installation, you must boot from the recovery Express Mediaplayer CD

  • Satellite M60-170: Question on partition Express Media Player

    Hello

I want to install Linux on a Satellite M60-170 (thus transforming part of NTFS partitions in other systems of files) without erasing/reformatting the Partition of Express built-in Media Player.

I don't see 2 Partitions using Partition Magic 8, predefined Microsoft (NTFS) 37 GB each on the hard drive of 80 GB.
I read on the forum that the Express Media Player is a T88 204 MB partition system.
How to see where this partition is located or do you know where it should be?

(Partition Magic reported an error right after the end of the 1st partition, sector 7815624; the 2nd NTFS(1st extended) begins at the 78156288 sector: I expect that the Express media Player is a 2nd primary partition located between 2 NTFS partitions, but I would be sure.)

    Thank you in advance,

    Hello

I m not 100% sure, but I think that the Media Express hidden partition is placed at the end of the hard drive.
I found information that the disk HARD should at least 150-200 MB of free space must be available.
This free space must be on the end of the HARD drive and there must be unallocated.
To get these free places on party products 3rd HARD drive must be used.

  • Satellite U205-S5002: cannot retrieve the Express Media Player after upgrading the HARD drive

So I bought just a new Toshiba Satellite U205-S5002 I love it. One of the great features that interest me was the Express Media Player feature.

My first step was to upgrade the hard disk and 160 GB and 2 GB ram.
I placed the disk and ram in my old laptop and sold it.

Before that I did, I made a copy ghosts and ghost of the hard drive to the new drive. Well come to find out...

Toshiba is not provided with this software preinstalled, so I followed the instructions to burn my recovery disk Express Media Player and the boot on the new disk.
So this is where the saga begins...

After 15-20 seconds, I get a soothing blue screen (NOT of blue BSOD you mind) who says:

    /!\
An error occurred during the recovery of "Express Media Player".
    -------------------------------------------------------
Please pick up the image again from the beginning.
    Press any key to exit.

It is typed exactly as it is on the screen. So, I see some other forums saying: you must have the free space of the disk so I resize the partition that allows 200 MB of space. Always the same... then try 2 GB even... then the 50 GB, same problem...

OK, so obviously not a question of space. I read while I might need to erase the drive... so I delete the partition, this same error... then I run the recovery disk and tell him to wipe the drive, wait 1 1/2 hour, it ends. No dice! So I decide... ok... Well lets try another disk... I have restored my ghost image... and burned the image again... same question... so I decide to the recovery disk and I'll try to reinstall windows in the factory and make a record...

Well, it does not work as well as you think... the image is incomplete... windows works fine... but the c:\Toshiba\ExpressMediaPlayer folder is empty!

I'm happy that I have ghosts my original directory. But I decide allows to Express Media Player a shot more now that I have restored to factory... always the same error... I then decide a trial more... I'll erase drive 1.5 hours, I'll restore from toshiba dvd provided but leaving plenty of space at the end 2 GB (I have a lot about people who tell you to base just around 200 MB)

5 hours later... moment of truth... Well Yes you guessed it... I don't know anything else to try... I have a bad image?
You need one that I can download what has worked for them for sure? Or have - I have completely found myself by replacing the HDD with after market and which is originally a kind of compatibility issue?

    Thank you in advance.

    Hello

    It s a great story!
I put t know how to start so maybe first some info on the Express media player.

As you said, and has already proposed the Express media player has been preinstalled on the second partition.
If you want to install this media Express on the HARD disk drive, 150-200 MB of free space must be available. This free space must be on the end of the HARD drive and there must be unallocated.
To get these free space on the HARD disk, 3 third-party products should be used as for example the Partitions Magic 8!

I'm not going to write a story how to recover the Express media player because Toshiba has already created useful documents, which described complete installation!
I found these documents in the knowledge base of computer Toshiba:

  • Libretto U100: Screen short film playing with Express Media Player

    Hello.

I have a Toshiba Libretto U100 with DVD Dock, and when I use Express Media Player to play the DVD, the image on the screen is too small. I find the way to play in full screen mode but I failed.

    Now the questions.

It is there a way to switch to full screen mode? If so, please detail.

If this is not possible with the included version, there is a new version or an update that will be available with this feature? where can I get (if it's free) or buy (if this isn't the case) it?

Thanks in advance and best regards. Your help would be very appreciated.

Pleasant :D Watch movies on booklet can you recognize anything? ;)

I put t know if it is possible to do so in the Media Express drive s

But if you come in on the edges of the annoying screen then I have a solution:
Go to-> graphics controller Intel Control Panel and select the option called mode full screen (without borders)

  • Satellite P100 - after reinstallation, I don't have the express media player

I just reinstalled my laptop. Windows XP. All right. But the express Media Player software was not on the disk to repair!

Do I need other software to reintall disc, or I can download somewhere? Or just the seller does not give this cd when I boght the laptop?

So, how can I find the Express media player?
    SB:

    Hello!

As said sanremo express media player is not in the recovery disc included. You must download.
By the way I use VideoLAN to play my audio and video files. It s freeware, small and fairly easy to use. Try it.

  • Express Media Player stopped working after Windows recovery with partition

    Hi people

I'm new to this forum. We hope to get some tips on your part I recently got a laptop A100. It comes with the Media of Express Player (EMP) installed. Given that my HARD drive is 160 GB, I need to make a few partition to protect my data should WinXP crashes and needed recovery. I used Toshiba Windows restore CD to restore windows to a 40 GB partition and set up the other as an extended partition. This is the final State of my laptop after that.
    C: 40GB (contains WinXP)
    D: ~ 108 GB (for my data)
I can see an unknown partition of ~ 250 MB, which is for EMP. I turned off my PC and turn it on using the button of the EMP. It did not work! EMP does not start. Can you guys advise? Anyone tried the partition their HARD drive and for the EMP to work?

    Hello

Usually, if you want to use the functions of player Media Express that the Mediaplayer Express Recovery CD should be performed before performing recovery of recovery, DVD-ROM.

You know you can't run Express Media player after performing a recovery!

But it seems that you have not formatted the disk around and packed only the extra partition. Eventually, you n t need to reinstall the drive Media Express.

I studied a little more on the technical knowledge of Toshiba and found this:

In rare cases, Windows XP starts instead of the Media Express Player
