Later in the form, I want to refer to selection that made the user with the caption of the button selected in the option group.  I tried to use resolveNode (optGroup.selectedMember () .name + ".") caption.value. #text') .value, but this only works if the first button in the group is selected.  Otherwise, selectedMember seems to be null and the code does not work.  Any ideas?

  On the basis that you have a unique name for the exclusion of radio button group, so this should work:

  I have created a form where the user has three options to make a payment.

  1. charge on my credit card
  2. costs related to the bank account
  3. By check or money order

  My problem is, under each option, there are required fields that must be filled. So if the user chooses the first option, charges on my credit card, they would fill in the mandatory fields (card credit number, expiry etc.). But when they click on the "submit" button to send the form, he won't let them, because there are a of the fields required in the title of the second the second option, the costs related to the costs related to the bank account.   I do all the fields that are not required until the user selects the relevant box.

  For example, as soon as the user selects the credit card radio button, only credit card fields are required.

  It could be the script to make the credit card required/not required fields:

  I try to shoot only the year of a date and does not know how this can be done. I tried the SUBSTR function but its does not not how I think.   SUBSTR only works on a string. To extract parts of a date, you must use the TO_CHAR command.

  For the year, you would use this: TO_CHAR (the_date, 'YYYY')

  To_char takes 2 switches, the date to be handled and the part to be extracted, with the portion between apostrophes.

  Once you get used to manipulate dates as this other common areas are: DD - extracts the day of the month, MY snippet code to 3 characters for the month.

  For example, you can use this: TO_CHAR(sysdate,'DD-MON-YYYY') and it converts the current date, June 7, 2012 to June 7, 2012

  Sorry, you can not get rid of tabs in Firefox. But you can hide the tab bar when only one tab is opened with this extension.

  Do you mean that the Stand By button is dimmed and does not become a Hibernate button when you press the SHIFT key?  Or is it still functional button (not grayed out) position.

  If this is the case, and the ideas of TechGeek2 you get this problem means that your video drivers are bad and you need to get the right video drivers for your system.

  Here is my scenario, I am the designer of consumate and learning coding by leaps and bounds, today its been a lot of stumbling blocks however.
  
  I have a site I designed that contains buttons that navigate the user at various points on the timeline using image tags. When they arrive at the appropriate image tag, they are presented with a movieclip containing two layers. The bottom layer is a card, and the top layer is a collection of buttons printer having a component tooltip on them showing you the information on detailed mouse printer on and takes you to the Remote UI printer on release. each button has a name of unique queue for the printer appropriate under its name of the instance (e.g. itm100_btn). Here's the jist... I want to be able to place a dynamic text box near the printer and using action script button it display printer queue name automatically simply based on the button, targeting, or even place the dynamic txt area inside the printer button mc. See, on some pages, there are like 24 printers... I'm AFRAID to have to put all these names in manually because there are total 150 printers! OUCH...

  to create a movieclip button:

  create a (insert/new symbol/movieclip) movieclip and attach a stop() to its first image and etiquette 'up '.  create any graphic you want for the up state button movieclip.  create a 'more' and, if necessary, a "low" setting

  When you place this button movieclip on stage give an instance name (for example, printer1) and use:

  {Printer1.onRollOver = Function ()}
