How to get rid of scrollbars in panels void when you view a VI that is part of a class?
I am writing an application that applies to various analyses to a set of data. The program must be flexible configurable. To not clutter the GUI with too many items, I'm done with the idea of charging the necessary interfaces for each specific analysis dynamically in a panel unique overtime when necessary. It works very well without any problems.
Due to the fact that all analyses share common functionality, I decided to use LabVIEW classes for implementation. Each class has a VI that represents the user interface to display in the Panel of void.
This also works well, BUT the sub Panel always displays a horizontal and vertical scroll bar that I don't want to see!
I already learned that I need to change the user interface VI for a personalised appearance 'window' and disable the properties 'display the scroll bar. But it seems to work only for 'normal' screws but not for the screws that are part of a class.
Any ideas?
Ingo
Thank you Pixar, it was the right card!
Good: there seems to be a difference between 'normal' screws and screws that are members of a class.
For 'normal' screws, simply assign ownership to "Off while Running" and it works as expected.
Live in a class need the 'Always Off' setting' which is only accessible via a right click on the scroll bars, but not through the properties of the VI box.
Thanks and greetings
Ingo

How can I get rid of the private browsing page when you open a new private window?
When I opened a private page of private browsing navigation appears and says this:
Private browsing
Firefox don't remember the history of this window.
In a private browsing window, Firefox will retain all the history of the browser, search history, download history, form web history, cookies or temporary internet files. However, files you download and bookmarks you make will be kept.
To stop private browsing, you can close this window.
While this computer will not have a record of your browsing history, your internet service provider or your employer can always track the pages you visit.
I want to get rid of this suggestion?
It is not possible to get rid of this page in normal mode.
However, you do not get this page if you start Firefox in private browsing permanent mode (don't remember history).- Tools > Options > privacy > Firefox will be: "Use the custom settings for history": "always use the private browsing mode.
You can use an extension for private browsing mode support tab.
- Private tab: https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/addon/private-tab/
- Private browsing mode tabs get a dotted underline
- You can toggle private browsing power mode using the context menu of a tab

How to get VM to the .vmx file path when you have the VM name?
Hi all
I use the latest version of VIX API to power on virtual machines on an ESX Server. I work with c# in Visual Studio 2012 and currently I have power on the virtual machine by using the following code:
VMWareVirtualMachine virtualClientMachine = host. Open (vmMachinePath, 2100);
While this works, I think it is better to be able to turn on the virtual machine when you know the name of the virtual machine and not the path. So, how can I get the path to the VM to the vmx file when I know the name of the virtual machine? For example, if my VM on the ESX Server is called WIN7GERMAN, how I can get the path and pass this to the host. Opening function?
Thanks for any help or code.
John
VM names are not unique, that's why it is not supported.
You can use VixHost_FindItems() and locate the VIX_PROPERTY_FOUND_ITEM_NAME property without papers and use the associated VIX_PROPERTY_FOUND_ITEM_LOCATION to get the value to pass to VixHost_OpenVM(). You have to deal with duplicate however names

How to get rid of yahoo as search engine when opening firefox
When I open Firefox and enter a site in the search box, yahoo appears as a research vehicle. It takes forever to find the required site. I tried various things, but it seems that this feature of Yahoo has been installed when I did another download.
Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/tools > Modules > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is the cause of the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/tools > Modules > appearance).
- Do NOT click on the reset button on the startup window Mode without failure.
- https://support.Mozilla.org/KB/troubleshooting+extensions+and+themes
You can use the SearchReset extension to reset preferences to default values.
Note that the SearchReset extension runs only once and then uninstalls automatically, so it will not appear on the page "> Firefox Add-ons" (topic: addons).
If you do not keep the changes after a reboot or have problems with preferences, see:

Windows 7 with Firefox 10
IMO, theme developers too provide misleading screenshots on their theme download pages. They should show the appearance of their "out of the box" theme, without any other change as the first screenshot of the theme using the default value: Home Home page.
Was that your comment on this theme and the response from the developer?

Since Oracle surprisingly quickly announced an update of Java JRE (7.11 update), Jan 14, available todag I install naturally. Despite being very careful with all unwanted program providers are trying to impose on the innocent user, I always have a f * ck * thing-same to tab search ng in my line of tabs. I don't want or need, and it occupies valuable space. The evil rats who created this stinky sh * t were very careful hide all the simple ways of removing - it is not (as far as I can see) are everywhere in my lists of Add-ons or extensions. I tried to watch: config, but I am totally inexperianced with this and do not dare to change: in fact, I can't find anything usable.
Anyone who has a suggestion how to get rid of that junk qualified? My FF is the Swedish version, that's why I stuck with raw data in the troubleshooting information. If there is a possibility here to add a screenshot of the thing, I would have.
The tab looks like the image below? If so, did you not as a Java Update. Have you downloaded the update of Java on the Java site or elsewhere? It was expected that some less honest people would provide false updates to Java. If it looks like the image below, follow these steps:
- With all browsers closed, in Control Panel > programs and features (or add / remove programs), if you see "Default tab" delete (you have no default tab 1.4.3 in the list of add-ons/prefs you have submitted with your question)
- Launch Firefox and check that 'Default tab' is not in the Add-ons > Extensions; If it is click on 'Remove' and then restart Firefox.
- You may need to set your homepage in Firefox, if a search page leading to 'Search results' or "My search results" is displayed at the start of Firefox - https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/How%20to%20set%20the%20home%20page
- You may need to remove the 'search results' or "My search results" in your list of installed search engines in the top search bar on the right (click on the image to the left of the search bar, then choose "Manage search engines") - https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/search-bar-easily-choose-your-search-engine#w_removing-a-search-engine
- You may need to reset your default search engine used for looking for location/URL bar by resetting the preference keyword. URL - https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/search-web-address-bar#w_changing-the-internet-keyword-service
- How to use topic: config - http://kb.mozillazine.org/About:config
- You may need to reset a preference if 'Search results' or "My search results" appears as a search engine every time you open a new tab (follow steps 1 to 4 in the image below to determine which opens when you click to open a new tab; see Subject: config use above)- https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/new-tab-page-show-hide-and-customize-top-sites#w_how-do-i-turn-the-new-tab-page-off
