How to get the Date in month based on week of the month.
Hi gurus,
I have provided.
Quarter (Q) = > 1 (Jan - Mar), 2 (April-June), 3 (July-September), 4 (October-December).
Months (M) = > Jan = 1, Feb = 2, Mar = 3 in the 1st quarter.
ARP = 1, may = 2, Jun = 3 in the 2nd quarter,
Jul = 1, August = 2, Ms = 3 in Q3,
Oct 1 Nov = = 2, Dec = 3 in the 4th quarter
If I give Q = 3, M = 3, W = 1 day = Fri so I get 6-Sep-13
Similarly, if I give Q = 2, M = 1, O = 3, day = game so I get 18 April 13.
Could someone help me higher and higher.
Concerning
Sanjeev
Believing that when you say you want to say that it is 1 - 5 in a month with the 1st day of the month as the beginning of the 1st week of the week. You can try this.
SQL > t

(3)
4. Select q 3, 3 m, 1 w, 'Ven' d
5 double
6 union
7 all the
8. Select q 2, 1 m, 3 w, d 'game '.

everymonth admin will refresh the data table and automatically this table above is updated with unique seq_no and process_date.
I need extarct min date of everymonth (first 6 months discount - excluding the months perceive) and also the seq_no associated to this month so using joins (using the seq_no - which is available in the main table) I can combine the actual data.
I need result like:

How to get the Date, month, year of the DateTimePicker
Hi, I am using the DateTimePicker.
There are several question about this command:
1. how to get the Date, month and year?
-With the help of myDateTime.value, I get this string ' Wed May 08 14:45 ICT 2013 '-> I have to manually analyze this? Because I need in format yyyy/mm/dd. Or can set the format of dateTimePicker.value?
2 format on dateTimePicker self (on the user interface) is d/m/YY, I can't change to another format?
Thank you
dateTimePicker.value return a QDateTime not a string.

See more:
https://developer.BlackBerry.com/Cascades/reference/QDateTime.html#date
https://developer.BlackBerry.com/Cascades/reference/QDate.html
You can get
day = dateTimePicker.value.date().day() month = dateTimePicker.value.date().month() year= dateTimePicker.value.date().year() dateYYYYMMDD = dateTimePicker.value.date().toString(Qt::ISODate) dateYYYYMMDD2 = dateTimePicker.value.date().toString("YYYY/MM/DD") dateYYYYMMDD3 = dateTimePicker.value.toString("YYYY/MM/DD")

How to get the second Monday of each month in a given date range?
In Oracle forms, how to get the second Monday of each month in a given date range?
I tried below using the query WITH the Clause, but it seems that WITH Clause does not work in Oracle forms. So is there another way to do this in Oracle forms?
WITH month_range AS
(
SELECT TO_DATE ('Dec 2013', 'Mon YYYY') AS first_month
, TO_DATE ('Mar 2014', 'Mon YYYY') AS last_month
OF the double
)
SELECT NEXT_DAY (6 + ADD_MONTHS (first_month
, LEVEL - 1
)
, 'MONDAY '.
) AS second_monday
OF month_range
CONNECTION OF LEVEL < = 1 + MONTHS_BETWEEN (last_month, first_month)
;
Thanks in advance.
Good fishing, when the first day of the month is Thursday... So I changed the query accordingly... Try the below
SELECT CASE WHEN TO_CHAR (ADD_MONTHS (TRUNC(startdate,'MM'),(LEVEL-1)), 'DY') = 'game '.
THEN NEXT_DAY (ADD_MONTHS (TRUNC(startdate,'MM'),(LEVEL-1)), 'THU')
Of OTHER NEXT_DAY (ADD_MONTHS (TRUNC(startdate,'MM'),(LEVEL-1)), 'Game') + 7
END AS second_day
FROM (SELECT SYSDATE startdate,
SYSDATE + 300 enddate
THE DOUBLE)
CONNECT BY LEVEL<=>=>

Published by: 9999999 on 8 March 2013 04:30Use the IW format - it will make independent NLS solution. And all you need is truncated 7th day of each month using IW:
select sysdate current_date, trunc(trunc(sysdate,'mm') + 6,'iw') first_monday_the_month from dual / CURRENT_D FIRST_MON --------- --------- 08-MAR-13 04-MAR-13 SQL>
Here is the list of the first Monday of the month of this year:
with t as( select add_months(date '2013-1-1',level-1) dt from dual connect by level <= 12 ) select dt first_of_the_month, trunc(dt + 6,'iw') first_monday_the_month from t / FIRST_OF_ FIRST_MON --------- --------- 01-JAN-13 07-JAN-13 01-FEB-13 04-FEB-13 01-MAR-13 04-MAR-13 01-APR-13 01-APR-13 01-MAY-13 06-MAY-13 01-JUN-13 03-JUN-13 01-JUL-13 01-JUL-13 01-AUG-13 05-AUG-13 01-SEP-13 02-SEP-13 01-OCT-13 07-OCT-13 01-NOV-13 04-NOV-13 FIRST_OF_ FIRST_MON --------- --------- 01-DEC-13 02-DEC-13 12 rows selected. Hi FrankYes, but I had more than 2 tables with item_characteristics, type_characteristics
If there are other tables involved, then CREATE TABLE and INSERT statements for them (for the relevant columns only). You must not post a lot of examples of data; usually just a couple of lines per table is enough to show the problem.
Also post the results desired from these data.What I try to do is, I'm comparing new_value in log_item_characteristics (whichever is most recent) with CHR_VALUE in the item_characteristics and the needs of different output values
I am trying to query is not giving desired out put
Point out some places where the output is wrong and explain how you get good results in these places, using specific examples from the data sample.
select lic.PIRM_ID, ic.CHR_ID, lic.CHARACTERISTIC_NAME, lic.TYPE_NAME, ic.CHR_VALUE, lic.NEW_VALUE, lic.MODIFIED_BY, lic.MODIFIED_ON, ic.CREATED_BY, ic.CREATED_ON,ic.MODIFIED_BY, ic.MODIFIED_ON from log_item_characteristics lic, item_characteristics ic,type_characteristics tc where lic.TYPE_NAME=tc.TYPE_NAME and lic.CHARACTERISTIC_NAME=tc.CHR_NAME and lic.PIRM_ID=ic.PIRM_ID and tc.CHR_ID=ic.CHR_ID and ic.CHR_VALUE <> lic.NEW_VALUE and lic.pirm_id in ('0307490N','0307521C') order by lic.pirm_id
Thank you; It is useful to see the existing query. Really, you have to format your code.
Please can you help me
What you've posted so far is like saying "I'm going 200 meters to the North, and then 500 meters East, but I'm not getting where I want to go." I would have a better chance to help you if you said, 'I'm out of my house, at 100, Elm Street and try to get to the supermarket at Broadway 279. I'm going 200 meters to the North... ', or, even better. "I want to buy a newspaper and some orange juice, so I thought I'd go to a convenience store. I start at my house, at 100, Elm Street... »
Always post some examples of data (CREATE TABLE and INSERT statements, as you did in your first post) and the desired results from these data. Explain how you get these results from these data. -
How to get the 'DAY' based on the territory of current account held a number between
Hi all
Looks like I'm at the end of my intelligence here but how to get the 'DAY' based on the territory of current account with a number between 1 and 7? Oracle has functions to extract the day of the week, but I can't find the other way around.
I need a way to know that the number '3' on the database with NLS_TERRITORY = AMERICA means a 'Tuesday' or the number '2' on a database with NLS_TERRITORY = GERMANY means "Tuesday" as well.SQL> select * from v$version; BANNER -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Oracle Database 11g Release 11.2.0.3.0 - 64bit Production PL/SQL Release 11.2.0.3.0 - Production CORE 11.2.0.3.0 Production TNS for Linux: Version 11.2.0.3.0 - Production NLSRTL Version 11.2.0.3.0 - Production SQL> alter session set nls_territory=AMERICA; Session altered. SQL> select to_char (sysdate, 'D') from dual; T - 3 SQL> alter session set nls_territory=GERMANY; Session altered. SQL> select to_char (sysdate, 'D') from dual; T - 2
Hope I am clear enough.
And wish you all a happy new year :)
Kind regards
SmailUse the format "IW" to get the date of Monday and the format "DAY" to get the "first day of the week. Then compare dates to see if they are identical.
ALTER SESSION SET NLS_TERRITORY = 'AMERICA'; SELECT TRUNC(SYSDATE-LEVEL, 'IW') "Monday", TRUNC(SYSDATE-LEVEL, 'DAY') "NLS First day of week", MOD(TRUNC(SYSDATE-LEVEL, 'IW') - TRUNC(SYSDATE-LEVEL, 'DAY') + 7, 7) "1 if day 1 = SUN, 0 if MON" FROM DUAL CONNECT BY LEVEL <= 7; Monday NLS First day of week 1 if day 1 = SUN, 0 if MON --------- --------------------- -------------------------- 31-DEC-12 30-DEC-12 1 24-DEC-12 30-DEC-12 1 24-DEC-12 23-DEC-12 1 24-DEC-12 23-DEC-12 1 24-DEC-12 23-DEC-12 1 24-DEC-12 23-DEC-12 1 24-DEC-12 23-DEC-12 1 alter session set nls_territory = 'FRANCE'; SELECT TRUNC(SYSDATE-LEVEL, 'IW') "Monday", TRUNC(SYSDATE-LEVEL, 'DAY') "NLS First day of week", MOD(TRUNC(SYSDATE-LEVEL, 'IW') - TRUNC(SYSDATE-LEVEL, 'DAY') + 7, 7) "1 if day 1 = SUN, 0 if MON" FROM DUAL CONNECT BY LEVEL <= 7; Monday NLS First day of week 1 if day 1 = SUN, 0 if MON -------- --------------------- -------------------------- 31/12/12 31/12/12 0 24/12/12 24/12/12 0 24/12/12 24/12/12 0 24/12/12 24/12/12 0 24/12/12 24/12/12 0 24/12/12 24/12/12 0 24/12/12 24/12/12 0
Or it could be simpler:
ALTER SESSION SET NLS_TERRITORY = 'AMERICA'; WITH DATA AS (SELECT LEVEL INPUT_DAY FROM DUAL CONNECT BY LEVEL <= 7) SELECT INPUT_DAY, TO_CHAR(TRUNC(SYSDATE, 'Day')+INPUT_DAY-1, 'DAY') "Day label" from data; INPUT_DAY Day label --------- ------------------------------------ 1 SUNDAY 2 MONDAY 3 TUESDAY 4 WEDNESDAY 5 THURSDAY 6 FRIDAY 7 SATURDAY alter session set nls_territory = 'FRANCE'; WITH DATA AS (SELECT LEVEL INPUT_DAY FROM DUAL CONNECT BY LEVEL <= 7) SELECT INPUT_DAY, TO_CHAR(TRUNC(SYSDATE, 'Day')+INPUT_DAY-1, 'DAY') "Day label" from data; INPUT_DAY Day label --------- ------------------------------------ 1 MONDAY 2 TUESDAY 3 WEDNESDAY 4 THURSDAY 5 FRIDAY 6 SATURDAY 7 SUNDAY

How to get LASTDAY for each month between data dates...
Hi friend
I have a doubt, how to get LASTDAY for each month between data dates...
for ex:
My contribution will be like this
date = 01/12/2011
To date = 14/04/2011
And I need an output like
31/01/2011
28/02/2011
31/03/2011
is it possible to achieve through sql query in oracle
Thanks in advance for all friends to help himHello
Something like this (assuming that the dates are originally VARCHAR2s):
SQL> var dt_start varchar2(10) SQL> var dt_end varchar2(10) SQL> exec :dt_start := '12-01-2011' PL/SQL procedure successfully completed SQL> exec :dt_end := '14-04-2011' PL/SQL procedure successfully completed SQL> SQL> select last_day( 2 add_months( 3 trunc(to_date(:dt_start,'DD-MM-YYYY'),'MM'), 4 level-1 5 ) 6 ) as result 7 from dual 8 connect by level <= months_between(to_date(:dt_end,'DD-MM-YYYY'), to_date(:dt_start,'DD-MM-YYYY')) 9 ; RESULT ----------- 31/01/2011 28/02/2011 31/03/2011
If the dates are already of the date data type, simply remove the to_date function.

How to get the timestamp of data DAQmx Read
Hello
I have to read 4 analog channels using DAQmx AI read in LabVIEW 2012. I am using screws DAQmx.
Acquisition rate is 4000 samples per second, and the number of samples per channel is 200.
I use only one task DAQmx to read the data. I get 4 data tables for 4 channels each table length is 200, every time, DAQmx Read happens.
But I want to get the seal of these 200 samples per channel. How to get the seal of these samples, made me know.
Thank you
You have not indicated your code. If you choose to read the waveform data, the cluster includes t0 and dt. That's all the information you need.

How to get the logical tab in the main area of 4.1.2 Data Modeler?
I just installed Oracle Developer Data Modeler: Version 4.1.2.895.
I was following section 2.1 development of the logic model
http://docs.Oracle.com/CD/E48219_01/doc.40/e48205/tut_data_modeling.htm#DMDUG36169
I used the example of library. I added the areas.
Then I tried to create the books.
The document says:
- In the main area (right) of the Data Modeler window, click the logical tab.
- Click the icon of the new entity.
But I don't see the logical TAB on the right side at all.
I see the Start Page. On the far right is the browser window. Basically, I see Messages - Log.
On the left side, I have the browser window.
Can someone tell me please how to get the logical TAB in the main area?
Thanks in advance.
Hello!
In the browser with the right button on the logic model and select view.
I hope this helps!
