How to group my artist albums that contribute

I have problems when looking for artists through Windows Media Center. I know, it looks like Windows media player for more information.

When I searched for an artist, it only list albums they are the artist of the Album. I would like to see the list with the artist contributing that I have a few artists that appear on compilations and they are classified in various.

Is there anyway I can group albums under artist contributing so that when I search, they appear on all photos are listed.

Thank you

By default, the music files stored in the My Music folder or the Public folder will appear in Media Center. You can also add several folders for Media Center control, such as files on an external hard drive or on a network. For more information, see Add files to media in Windows Media Center.

If you do not see your music or other audio files in Media Center, it could be for the following reasons:

  • Files that are monitored by your library of music have changed. You can add or remove folders from your music library in Media Center, or outside Media Center in Windows Explorer. When you customize a library in Windows Explorer, the content that appears in Media Center is automatically updated. To learn how to change a library outside of Media Center, see using libraries.

  • The folder that contains the music is in a location that is not currently available. If your music is stored on a network folder, make sure that your computer is connected to the network. If your music is stored on an external hard drive, make sure that the drive is connected.

  • You can check the link below for ways to organize media in Windows Media Player:

Windows Media Player

In addition, the information is on-air that scrolls is based on information in the media file. You try to edit the media information manually to change what appears to the file during the playing mode.

My French is pretty bad (the is not used since our 25 anniversary trip in Paris), but it depends on what pictures you're trying to change.

    (1) If you want to say that the work that music Apple and iTunes displays when you look at the list of artists - you cannot select what is displayed. iTunes and Apple music kind of selects him. Based in part on the last album that you added by this artist, but not always.

    (2) If you mean the ALBUM art, is the question that Apple music displays the bad work? Probably means that at least one of the tracks was wrong with Apple music. You can download a different version of the work of Google (this is what I do) and then change album by double-clicking on the album art and if you select Get Info. Go to the tab of the work, and then drag the photo you want to use. BTW - the downloaded version must be in JPEG format for iTunes to recognize it as an image file.

  • How to customize the order of music files in the folder (no not with artist, album, #, genre or classification tabs)

I'm trying to transfer a playlist from Itunes on a folder, but I can't understand how to keep the order of the songs as I had them in the Itunes playlist.  I can't get files .mp3 alphabetically for the artist, album or genre.  Or according to numerical order by track number # or rating.  Any help in this regard would be highly appreciated.

Here's how to change the default template for a folder: http://www.vistax64.com/tutorials/70819-windows-explorer-folder-view-settings.html.  Default behavior is to select the model based on the first type of file placed in the folder (you must choose something).  Vista sets the folder type template according to what are the types of files in the window and the settings display window Explorer. This will show how to reset the display settings for the Windows File Explorer, disable Automatic folder Type Discovery (which is I think what you want)and increase the folder display the cache to make Vista do not forget the display settings, the folder type template, the size or the position of a specific window for when it was still closed to the location of specific path.

It does not work with the Sub record under, Open with, open in a new tab (Internet Explorer), etc... dialog windows of type through the good File menu bar item. These don't seem to be able to have their size or their position to recall. For the latter, you can use the free program http://autosizer.en.softonic.com/ to resize them.

Here is another article on how to modify the columns in Windows Explorer and sort in Vista: http://www.vistax64.com/tutorials/108665-column-customize.html.  This will show you how Add, Remove, move, change the widthand change the sort order of the columns in Windows Explorer in the way that you want.

Here is another article on how to change the display of the default folders in Vista (but she argues, it is not a perfect solution and can revert to the previous behavior is not as good as the two prior links provided: http://news.cnet.com/8301-13880_3-10019957-68.html.)

I hope this helps with your situation - it may take more than one item to come up with the solution - but I would start with paragraph 3.

This works often but I had cases where securities combined when a letter has been added but divorced when he was kidnapped again.

The following sections provide additional solutions:

Often a solution: select all the tracks on the album, file > info (or right-click > news > Details) and give them all a single "album artist", or check the indicator of "compilation" (as in https://discussions.apple.com/message/17670085#17670085).

  • problems with the field artist album

looking for advice here, before I chuck my computer out the window

I have a lot of compilations on my computer, and I have a set of 29 all under the same album artist name so I can find them easily

but I downloaded a new album and for some reason it will not fit properly in. He spends under the artist of the album that I put, but it separates each song in a different artist, and not one goes into the existing category. so I have a list of artists, where about 30 of them in a row are exactly the same.

I think the problem is that the tab sorting, the album artist is defined as what I would like it to be, but then the kind as it is set by default as mixed, and for some reason it wont let me change it. If I try, it returns immediately.

    any suggestions?

Setting generally a title of the Album and Album artist common will fix things.

  • How can I set the album names in alphabetical order

I would like to put my music albums alphabetically on my iPod Shuffle, but have no idea how to do that, nothing on the menu drop-down windows that can help do that. Can anyone help?

Is your current 4th gen (or 3rd gen) shuffle model?  If so, you must create a playlist (in iTunes) and synchronize with the shuffle.  This playlist is a playlist just normal that you set up in iTunes, with the songs you want on the shuffle. the shuffle has no need to be online when you do this part.  It can be sorted alphabetically by name of the album (or somehow desired).  If you are new on iTunes and need help with playlists, please after return.

Once you have a playlist set up, select the shuffle in iTunes so that you see on the screen of the settings in the iTunes window.  On the left, in the sidebar, under settings, click on music.  Right, you see music settings on the screen the shuffle.

NOTE: All of the songs on the shuffle that are not in your iTunes library (on the computer) will be lost.  If all the songs are in your iTunes library, no problem.

At the top, check the box to Sync music.  Below, select synchronize playlists, artists, albums, and genres.  Below, look under playlists to find the playlist with your songs to shuffle and checkmark it.  At the bottom, click apply to sync the playlist for the shuffle.  Further, you can simply update this playlist in iTunes (add and remove songs).  The shuffle has no need to be connected.  The next time that you connect the shuffle (or click sync , if already connected), iTunes automatically updated the shuffle with the same changes.

When you use the shuffle, use the VoiceOver feature to select the playlist in the Playlist Menu.  This document explains how to enable and use VoiceOver.

  • Albums that disappears

    Hello

Recently, I decided to start a movement of openness to Photos and go with experience whole iCloud. I transferred my library (about 20 000 pictures) overall and spent some time to clean new albums Photos made my opening projects. I'm done with a lot of albums that are nested in folders (e.g. travel long haul, local sites, family & friends, events, nature, etc etc). Everything went well and I even managed to find a way to recreate (or almost) my smart albums as well. This is all finally uploaded to the cloud and distributed to my computer laptop, iPad, iPhone, and office as well. Shortly after, I noticed that some of the albums do not seem to have downloaded on my iPhone and iPad, but they were still on my laptop, desktop, etc. Then I noticed that some of the albums were missing in my laptop and then my office. Fast forward a month and each of the albums that I transferred from Aperture or created in Photos have disappeared. All that remains are the standard albums which provides Photos for basic users (for example all the Photos, Favorites, people, places, selfies, panorama, etc.). All my photos are still there, just organized into basic model of Apple and not how I wanted to.

I would be really grateful if someone could explain what the problem is and what I can to make albums that I create in the future will remain created.

    Thank you

Using iCloud photo library on the Mac and iPhone/iPad?

IOS devices do not support the smart albums. Even if you use iCloud photo library, smart albums do not show on iOS devices.  The only way to synchronize smart followed on iPhone, iPad, iPod is iTunes Sync of Photo, but not iCloud photo library.

But the smart albums should not disappear from Mac, once you have enabled iCloud photo library on iPad and iPhone.  It looks like a bug.  I had exactly the same thing happen, after the upgrade to iOS 10 on my iPhone. You are now running iOS 10 on your iPad, iPhone?

I upgraded the iPhone iOS 10, allowed iCloud photo library, he started to sync, and a day later, all albums and smart albums had disappeared from the library of Photos on all of my Macs.

Something similar has happened after that OS X 10.10.3 Yosemite has been released. ICloud photo library on an iPad activation deleted albums on synced Macs.

To solve this problem: I would wait for your iPad has completed synchronization with iCloud and if the albums not reappear (for some people, they did after sync finished), once all the photos have been synchronized to the iPad, restore your photo library from your Time Machine backup, if you have a backup of the hour before iCloud on the iPad. After the restoration of the library, albums should stay, if the iOS devices are already synchronizing with iCloud.  It worked for my Mac. The only problem is that after restoring the library from a backup, Photos download all photos again to iCloud to merge in iCloud photo library, and which can take a few days for a large library.
