  Hello. You can test your speakers by running test audio fast ePSA or PSA tests.

Why this has been changed in windows 7 after Vista, it seems totally useless logic. I can turn off my speakers with the power button and get the helmet works. Now, I'm either or. So my new IR headphones are wasted. Please, someone tell me there is a work around?

  I have my Jabra GN9350 both my speakers for computer, audio playback at the same time. :)

  Here's the trick (and it is verified on 3 other systems Win 7):

  (1) R click on your speaker icon, select "Recording Devices" (if you have the sounds dialog box to the top, it's the 2nd 'Recording' tab)

  (2) click on R in the white space, make sure that the TWO "show disabled devices" AND "show disconnected devices" is checked.

  (3) * now, this step will take some thought for each computer used: on my laptop (HP Elitebook) I get a "Stereo mix" device, ACTIVATE this device.

  4) click on properties, click on the "Listen" tab

  (5) check the box 'Listen to this device', also change the drop-down list below 'read through this device' to be your second audio device

  -To check that you have done this correctly, go back to the tab of the dialog box sound reading, you should now see two of your audio devices showing green graphics small displacement.

  Here are the specific parameters that I have on my laptop, maybe this will help you with your settings:

  Speakers - GN9350 (by default the communications device)

  Speakers - SoundMAX Integrated Digital HD Audio (default device)

  Feature 'Listen' stereo Mix - point this device on my GN9350 headset.

  I'm new to first (the FCP 7 like a lot) and really miss me the ability to have all the sound elements just go in the middle.  My sound engineer gave me a stereo file with dialogue an actor channel and another channel on the right to the left, etc..   Normally I would split the stereo track so that it's two mono tracks, but the first does not let you do this. If I had hardware mixer, I would be just the stereo signal to mono sum, but I did not.  It is just out of my computer speakers.

  You can change a clip before placing it on the timeline in order to have two-channel mono instead of stereo. Click with the right button on the assets in the project Panel select Edit / Audio channels.

  I wrote a javascript that uses various find/change GREP and text to copy text from the first two paragraphs of a document and use them elsewhere (in the head of the race and feet), and now I want to delete the first two paragraphs. Not sure how I would do. If I was doing a search/replace manual (with nothing selected) it would automatically choose the first para in the first text box, but when I run the following:

  It is all the records and removes them. I was going to include the code twice; once to remove the first paragraph, then again to remove the other (first new) paragraph. My JS skills are weak, but I'm very uncomfortable with GREP. Can someone point me in the right direction for how I achieve what I want? If I made a loop for surely I would just do the same thing but more than once!

  Much to my surprise the rest of the script works even if it hurts my brain!
