  We use the web application loader to distribute our application.

  If the customer has paid the application we want to pre-register so that there is no need to enter the license code itself. So, we need a method to automatically get the license code on the device of customers at load time.

  The obvious would be to have a code on the Web server change cod and insert the license string. To do this, we need to know the format .cod, but after googling the web we found some good info, but it is all fixes and patches and not officially supported by RIM.

  1. you can build your file of original/model COD with a known value for the license string/byte array. You can then search and replace this value known to the real value for the customer. Note that, if the module is signed, this would negate the signatures, which means that you will automatically re - sign.

  2. an alternative is to add the license key as a "signature" of the module. Signatures, by definition, are not covered by signatures of module. You can then use the CodeModuleManager API to get the "signature" (it's just a byte array) from your BlackBerry code. For example, add 01 00 84 00 41 42 43 44 followed by 128 bytes containing your license key. The ID of the signatory in this particular example is "ABCD" (bytes 4 to 7), but it doesn't have anything. The length of the signature (+ 4) is expressed in bytes 2 and 3 (little endian). I never tried using a length that is not 128 bytes, which is the length for the signatures of standard code.

  In CS5 when I did (for example) a rectangle of 44 in. x 94.5 in with the rectangle tool by clicking and entering values, it could appear as exactly that in the transform palette.   If you create samples using the Creative Suite software, you can share with your client as a PDF file or image. If your customer needs to try fonts for themselves, they will need their own Typekit account.

• How to print Photo Info in the custom printing package

  I use LR CC, the newer version on a Windows7 PC.

  I'm trying to print Photo Info in the custom printing package. I have no problem if you select Photo Info in the Style of single Image/Contact sheets available, but when I move the custom printing package, the news picture checkbox in the Page Panel, disappears. There is no reference to this in the manual to know why this should happen, or may not be available.

  Appreciate help any with this case.

  I can connect to my first machine winXP with rdp, but the customer view told me that there is a connection error (error http, status = 400). In the "server connection", I used my ESX host's IP address.

  Sorry, just to clarify, the connection to the server is a Windows Server (may be virtual) who has the login server software installed. It's in its web interface that you configure all the settings for your desktops, your pools of desktop computers and users or groups have the right to use them. Although view uses rdp to connect protocol client to view isn't just a remote desktop client.

  You also need the view-agent installed in the virtual desktop machine, you want to connect.

  Once you point the client to connect to the server, it displays all the virtual desktop that took the user with that right you authenticated. The administrator is not automatically or the right to use any desktop PC, you must manually set the rights.

  Yes you can do it.

  My program uses a custom font (i.e. police popular NI7seg) I would like to include in my distribution facility.

  I'm using LabView 8.5 and I tried to force Setup (normally through the options window) to copy the fonts into the folder \Fonts [WindowsFolder] and add a registry key.

  After installation, I noticed that the font is actually added in the registry, but it doesn't have to be copied into the fonts directory.

  Any ideas?

  Hi Michal,

  First, you must add the font file to LabVIEW project.

  Then create a Source Distribution build specification. In the setting of the source distribution, you can determine where to distribute the font file.

  When you build your installation, you add the source as source file distribution to the installer.

  I don't know if you can skip step 2 to add the font as source file file to the installer, but source distribution could work properly.
