How to initialize the session OBI apps

Hello

Can someone tell me please how to define apps initialize session in OBIEE.

I am creating a report of the OBI that calculations in the answers and I do that through function EVALUATE and for some calculation I need to put the apps initialize session because the calculation contains pkg.function which is located in the Oracle applications database.

I need to initialize the thing below in OBIEE

BEGIN
mo_global.init ('IN.');
mo_global.set_policy_context('S',825);
END;

Help, please.

Thank you

Titas

Hi Titas,

You can make use of the 'Pool of connections'-> Connect Login Scripts tab to initialize the session before/after/on / on switch off according to your needs.

I hope this helps.

Thank you

  • How to initialize a session of calibration of the NI9215 module

    Hi all I'm trying to make adjustments to one similar to the Digital module (NI9215), I found the calibration is out of specification. I downloaded the calibration for the NI 9215 on NOR-Daqmx platform procedure and followed the instructions. The problem arises when I reached the part about how to adjust the calibration values, it is said to initialize a session of calibration but does not specify how you're supposed to achieve this goal. I use the max Measurment 14 version and I got development after 2013. Any help would be appreciated.

    Hey smudger.

    I looked on your problem and I think I found the vi you are looking for. I am attaching a file containing what I think that you need, but you can also use Quick Drop (ctrl + space), and then search for DAQmx initialize external Calibration.vi.

    I hope it's useful for you!

  • Satellite Pro P70 - Has: 2nd invisible HARD drive - how to initialize the 2nd HARD drive

    I have a P70 - A. Satellite Pro
    'Primary' hard disk failed, and has been replaced by the service centre.

    Now, only the main hard drive is shown and the Service Center said that I had to 'initialize' the second hard drive to make it visible. They assure me that the hard drive is there, just hidden.

    How can I make visible?
    How do I initialize it?

    Usually, you can initialize the disk by DiskManagement.

    In disk management, right-click the disk you want to initialize and then click on initialize disk.
    In the dialog box initialize the disk, select the disk to initialize.
    You can choose to use the master boot record (MBR) or the style of partition GUID partition table (GPT).

    Once a disk is initialized, you can create partitions on it.
    After you create a partition, you can format the partition to create a filesystem (NTFS).

  • How to pass the session IMAQ to the Subvi

    Hello

    My experience with LabView is neither very good nor extended. I am a scientist and I'm with IMAQ data acquisition. My current problem is that the people who wrote the script is modular, versatile, or clear initially structured. So I try to reduce the ridiculous number of tests in a simple flowchart to a level that people can actually understand it... and to make the more versatile script for future experiments.

    I'm introducing quite a few subVIs to be executed repeatedly. However, I can't know how to pass the IMAQ session on the Subvi. I constantly get the error messages. In this case, I want to acquire images with OIDE_CollectFrame.vi controlled by OIDE_TrialPhaseCollect.vi. I couldn't understand how to assign the refnum IMAQ session class, either.

    It is probably a newbie question, but usually I program with LabView.

  • Error while trying to initialize the session of material

    I get an error when you try to initialize a session of material so that I can control my cards PXI-4110.  I've attached a screenshot of the code that I am running with the error message that appears.  I used this code before on a separate system yet identical and received no error.  I'm trying to deploy this code on a real-time system running Pharlap or whatever it's called now.  The real-time system is hung across a MXI map in a PXI chassis containing power cards.  I'm under LabVIEW 2012.

    In fact, I just got on the phone with a representative OR today, and he asked me to set my target to the local host rather than my machine in real time and for some reason that seems to have solved the problem.  Even the rep was not really sure why that would fix it, but he did.  Thanks a lot for your great answers.

    How can I use IP phone 9971 session call buttons to be used for line speed dial or intercom?

    You can not, you can only assign one of the 6 buttons line as another option, the session call buttons are dedicated to call the session.

  • How to remove the session cookie when you click Logout

    I noticed that when I click on logout at the top of the page URL, the session cookie (name ORA_WWV_APP_xxx, where xxx = application ID) is not removed from the browser.  No idea how to fix?

    Thank you

    Rob

    Hari - I use Apex 4.2.2.00.11, and he leaves behind two cookies:

    LOGIN_USERNAME_COOKIE = user name

    ORA_WWV_APP_nnn = the session cookie

    Ricker, your idea works.  As I examined him, however, I noticed that the login page creates a new cookie ORA_WWV_APP_nnn, so I had not seen the cookie being deleted as part of the behavior of default disconnection from the Apex.  Looks like none of this is really necessary; apex_authentication.logout sets the content of that cookie-1, which is as good as remove it.

    Thank you all!

  • How to check the Session Variables using the analytical web dashboard

    This is my first post. Easy points to the first right answer... If I can figure out how to give points.

    Problem: I need to know how to check that the Session Variables with the Administration of Oracle BI tool are used by the web analytics tool.

    Environment: Windows running Oracle 10g BI. Connect to the database using web analytics http:// < server >: 9704/analytics, web analytics is running in a windows Explorer browser.

    Current situation: the analytical tool is connected to the database and I can use the screen of "Answers" to the table edge to probe the tables look and things as expected.
    In the administration Oracle BI tool I can see the session of web analytics and I see that he thinks that the Session Variables are set correctly.
    I have reasons to doubt that the analytical tool is to get the right variables and I need to check it out.
    I know that I should use the 'Answer' window to create a shape any of a query that includes NQ_SESSION. < my variable >, but I can't understand what the format should be doing the work.

    That's all I need.

    What I do is insert a text in my dashboard object and then set the properties of the text object to display the variable.

    for example to display the DISPLAYNAME variable, the text object properties are:

    User: @{biServer.variables ['NQ_SESSION.]} {[DISPLAYNAME']}
