I try to send a message and a picture, but it will not send until I install the e-mail program

What email program are you currently using? If you are using Vista, you already have Windows Mail installed.

    If your active ePrint printer you can save the cloud and get an identification of email for your printer.

    Here are the steps to activate eprint on your printer.

    1 connect the printer to the internet network.

    2. let the printer get valid IP address.

    3. click on the ePrint button on the printer.

    4. continue by clicking Yes.

    5. the printer must register and view the ID of the email.

    6. it will also be to print an instruction page that has the code of request with instructions.

    Note: To connect the wifi printer you can click on the wireless button and then select wireless configuration wizard and proceed with the instructions on the front of the printer.

    change your e-mail address is problematic, however.  your account is like your adobe which is your email ID.

    If you have a new email address, you will need to configure a new adobe id that matches and you will need to start a subscription with this adobe id and if you have an old subscription with this old email/adobe id, you will need to cancel that.

    As far as I know, this machine is not designed for Windows XP Home edition and also not supported for the Windows operating systems.

    As far as I know there must be preloaded e-mail application. Can you configure and use your existing e-mail address.

    Maybe you accidentally downloaded Windows Live Mail 2011, which only runs on Vista and 7. You should download the version 2009 from here:

    This should easily install it on XP.

    Thank you for your interest for my problem.  Where I am is the following: I received a digital SLR Canon T3i and finally managed to upload images in the Canon Digital Photo Professional and then managed to create a record of some of these pictures on the desktop.  These images are of a grandchild and his mother call wanting to know when I will be emailing them him every 5 minutes.  I think I was wrong to use the term 'install' an e-mail program in Photo Viewer when I think now what he says "attach" a mail program.  My frustration is not being able to understand Canon programs and also not being able to understand how to send images.  I appreciate your interest and hope that I have answered your question.

    OK, I found a solution that is acceptable to me, if all goes well it wll be for other institutions.

    Just download the Yahoo toolbar and make sure to select the 'mail' app, in my version, there were 4 check boxes, the first three have been selected and the fourth, the e-mail option, was not.  I have others unchecked, installed the toolbar and after its closure and reopend IE, the toolbar is active.  I went to default programs start menu by default/programs/set and then chosen yahoo mail as the default mail program.  Then I went back to IE and clicked on the key which is the toolbar settings and disabled.

    Now everything works as before and I do not have the yahoo toolbar clutter my viewable area.
