  If there is uninstall it, and then in disk management, delete the D partition, and then expand C to utalise all the free space.

  If you are running Windows 7 Professional or Ultimate version, install Windows Virtual PC and Windows XP mode (http://www.microsoft.com/windows/virtual-pc/default.aspx) and run your software in Windows XP.

  If you run Windows 7 Home Premium, try VirtualBox (www.virtualbox.org) or VMware Player (www.vmware.com), or any other software virtualization part 3^rd and install a separate copy of Windows XP (family or professional edition) for this purpose. You can find the virtualization software free that will run on Windows 7 Home Premium.

  Question 1.  Son of my cousin says I could install my older programs.  For example, I tried to install 'Of Corel Painter 6' on vista.  He said to install it in a 32-bit something or other.  I understand completely, so I tried and failed, so I used Vista Help for install.  I used the "Program Compatibility Wizard".  I tried over and over and over until that program would not load at all... always load, just turn... and now my Control Panel has been restored to the 32-bit operating system.  But my System acknoledges again whatever the 64-bit operating system.  I recognize the icons in the Panel to be different, I do not remember how I know that it is 32-bit, but I read somewhere.   And now my Corel painter 6 will not download at all... do not recogonizing my serial number.  Which he did before.

  Can someone please help me get back my pc to be the operating system fully 64-bit?

  Can question 2: Anyone tell me how I can add my old programs to my new pc w/vista?

  I don't have a faboulous HP Touchsmart PC IQ505 product: KZ631AA with Vista Home Premium.  I don't know if you need the product not or not...?

  Hi guys,.

  I ended up calling the son of my cousin again.  He hooked my PC to his town to mine.  It was pretty cool.  I'm sorry, I was wrong.  My pc has not changed.  The 32-bit color is that it always has, did not fair.  Control Panel icons are just enlarged, made it seem so different, that I knew something was wrong.  I feel so stupid, but so happy that nothing is wrong with my pc.

  On question #2...

  I managed to download my painter program 6... I was printing the letter O instead of number 0.  I can't believe the difference, but it did.  Thus it has downloaded.  Then I have the icon one click right and select "run as administrator and this is it opens.

  Now, books, I, I know to open anything, I have to go around and save the Picts in another program like photoshop to convert the file in "RGB" file, then it will open in my program.  Kind of pain, but at least it works like that.  AND I did not buy another program.

  So, thanks for your help, but I'm Out of Here!

  You are able at all to run the Setup file manually?

  You can always try to download tye installation instead of using the drive.  Your serial number of the disk works for download.

  In windows 8.1, you can change the language by following the steps below:

  1. Press Windows + X on the keyboard.
  2. Select Panel.
  3. Change the display by small icons / large icons.
  4. Click on language.
  5. Click the administration tab.
  6. Click on parameters change system locale. If you are prompted for an administrator password or a confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.
  7. You can change the language to Japanese.
