• How to insert sections of column within a document?

  I am converting a Word document to FrameMaker.

  I have to insert some long columns (sometimes more than 150 lines per section of the column) to specific places in the text.

  It might be something very easy to do, but I have not yet found!

  
  

  Basically, it is the structure of the document I want to achieve:

  

  Sections of column (in green) that begin and end within the normal text sections (as we would in Word).

  
  

  I tried to divide my basic text frame and convert some sections divided into sections of the column.

  
  

  1 chapter, divided in 5 sections:

  section 1: normal and graphic text

  section 2:2 - section columns

  Article 3: text normal and graphics

  4 of article: section 2-columns

  Article 5: normal text and graphics

  
  

  However, these sections do not automatically adjust when I paste large amounts of text in there.

  As a result, I end up having to manually adjust each divided section (stretch them vertically and push down in the following sections, because they do not move from their original place (not "section flow")).

  1 can I use the feature column in another way?

  2. How can I make each section adjust automatically to the amount of text it receives?

  Use Across-All-Columns-and-Side-Heads for titles. Set a tab in the AutoNumber for chapter headings so that the paratext is aligned with the left edge of column Center.

  It does not seem possible to have unbalanced normal FM multi columns. You can make unbalanced with executives from individual text automatically connected on the Master Pages, but then the AAFC tricks do not work.

  I created a form that uses a button to switch to another pdf document. This second document is included in the first document as an attachment so that the whole package can be sent to people in a single document.

  It works well but the problem is that when the button is selected the document that is already open is closed (albeit with a backup invites document).

  There seems to be no way to keep the existing document open, while the second document (the linked document) is open.

  Hi, I can't try to understand how from another page a link to a tab within another panel tabs Panel.

  I followed the tutorial on this site http://foundationphp.com/tutorials/spry_url_utils.php and have the link work properly.  I changed a code and now I have a panel tabs residing in one of the tabs in an existing tab

  I have my link on the page linked to "Hunt" for page B.  I added the animal tabs Panel.  Each tab includes pictures of each type of animal.

  Now what I want to do is to click on a link "Elk" in another page and have the tabs 'hunts' open and "Elk" open as well.

  the problem is to know how to display the correct tabs (not a list after code "li" or "ul"). "How to show" means see tabs (rectangle) - not only links.

• Include XSQL page within another page

  Hello world!

  I try to include an XSQL page within another page. It seems that the page .jsf filter does not support this feature. So, I've included my page .xsql within a .jspx page that works fine on my built-in server. The problem shows up again when the application is deployed on a stand-alone Weblogic Server. I get a "XML-25013: XSQL Page URI has the value null;" "check the exact case of the name of the file." error.

  My question is, how do include you a page within another page .jsf or .jspx .xsql? I tried to use the tag "af:declarativeComponent" and "jsp: include ' tag but in vain."

  I use Jdeveloper 12.1.3 and a stand-alone 12.1.3 Weblogic Server.

  I solved my problem

  Two tips helped me with my quest. The first came from this question unanswered ( https://community.oracle.com/thread/347827?start=0&tstart=0 ) and the other came from this ( https://docs.oracle.com/cd/E13222_01/wls/docs100/issues/known_resolved.html ) solved the problems of Weblogic, specifically the number of request to change CR299135. The problem, apparently, is with the .war file and the XSQL servlet way seeks the path of the file.

  By setting the parameter weblogic.xml indeed, the path can be resolved properly even in one archive .war and the XML-25013 error goes.

  After reviewing the deployment of the application on my integrated weblogic server, I noticed that the app has not been actually archived in a .war file. She was only the directory structure that imitated the .war file deployment. This is probably the reason why the app worked there.

  I think that in RoboHelp 7 is 'hyperlink' - 'hyperlink subject remote', but in RoboHelp 8 "remote topic" - function isn´t it.

  Hi Janine and welcome in the HR community.

  How you link to a section of another HR project depends on what kind of output you produce (CHM, WebHelp, etc.). The remote subject method you mention is used only when you are linking to a CHM to another project file output. What is more, the option is available only if you have the Microsoft HTML Help source unique layout defined as the default output. The binding in RH8 method is exactly the same as in RH7. If you always produce CHMS, check your layout of single source pod which is the default output. If Microsoft HTML Help is not the default, right-click on it and click on "Set as default output".

  Either way, your English is very good except that 'project' is spelled with a 'c' ;-)

• Anchor named linking from another document

  I did an anchor named and linked to a text in another document.  Large.  Works perfectly.  The only thing is that it does not display the anchor named at the top of the page.

  In other words, the foot is at the bottom of the page and the named anchor in the middle of the page... not at the top.  As a #top would be.

  Anyway to get to the top of the page?  Should I just more content below?

  This is becausedoes not scroll beyond the bottom of the page. That's what I wanted to show you in my example. If you were to add a div with a height of 500px or there abouts at the end of your document, then the ancjor will be displayed at the top of the page.

  Or alternatively, you can resize the browser window to half the height you have now, you will also notice that it works.

  The link may not work in preview (when the option to open the link in a new tab is checked) however this will work if you do a file > preview page/site in the browser.

  Overview of Muse has only a single tab and impossible to open a tab/window, this is why this feature doesn't work in preview of Muse. but works in preview in the browser and in the published site.

  The links are located on the emails I receive from authorized sources. When I click on the links to read the additional documents (another document) or display a picture, I get a blank page with a single point in the middle of the page. The tab header says it's an image (1 x 1 pixel) PNG. Any suggestions to fix this?

  Often, links to email in bulk are routed via a follow-up rather than service directly to its final destination. If you look at the address bar on the image page, it seems like one of these intermediaries rather than the page you expect to load? If you click on the address bar and press ENTER to retry the address, which does nothing?

  It is possible that the security software or security add-on kills a redirect from this intermediate page to the final destination. For example, I think the anti-banner Kaspersky functionality could do that.

  I used to have FF for this, but since the upgrade to a new laptop, I can't understand * how * I've implemented for open all links as background tabs. I have installed TabMix and obv. I can ctrl-click, but I want it to be the default setting.

  In tools-> Options - tabs, there is a check box for "when I open a new tab, switch to it immediately." Clear this check box, and then restart your browser.
