  In my opinion this isn't possible.
  You cannot simply move the data from DVD 2 disks to USB. I think that this will not work.

  In your case, you will need to use an external USB CD/DVD drive in order to retrieve the laptop using both disks.

  where are your general recovery now? You know that if you've lost your General and didn t have all the backups that you have to pay for a new recovery cd.
  You can do something else:
  If you have an original windows xp cd lying around somewhere, then install it and download the drivers from internet.

  It's a really elegant solution without having to purchase a new recovery cd. Just ask a friend to help you with that ;) or whatever and you won´t need to buy a new cover on cd...

  You can do this either from the beginning to puncture the hole in your clipping mask, before applying it to the model (so for this now, you would need to first release the mask, then drill the hole then redo the mask)

  Or you apply an opacity mask to the model now. Draw a black shape where you want the hole to be (make black dark if you want to be real - you) then select all and in the transparency Panel click on "Make mask". You may need to disable the cut option so that it works correctly. If you also get options for opacity masks in the manual.
