How to manually remove a redundant Games folder icon?

I had a game installed on my PC (demigod) where I removed the Panel.  The game has already been demonstrated in my games folder with the icon of the game, since the withdrawal of the game although the following text is displayed:

http://a.imagehost.org/0781/asddasf.PNG

Make a right-click of the icon has no effect, using the menu at the top, I can copy the icon but rename/remove are grayed out.  Y at - it a registry key that I can hack in to remove this?

Using Windows 7 RC1.

Found NM, HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\GameUX\Games is where all the games are stored, nuked the entrance of demigod, sorted.

  • How can I remove the old Windows folder to a different drive?

Original title: Old files Windows, Program Files, etc.

I tried to use before Disk Cleanup and it worked, and I haven't run a complete installation.

I'm having a problem now, this time, and I did a full install.  Disk Cleanup doesn't show any options to remove an old Windows as it did before.

How can I remove the old Windows folder to a different drive?  I also try to remove the Program Files folder, as well as with an implementation since.

It is showing an error message "I need to be in the Administrators group ~", and that TrustedInstaller is owner of the present.

I have a question that "TrustedInstaller" has full authority on the file system, and 'Administrators' has limited access.

I noticed that there are other three to make a total of four names of users who have all or nearly full access to the file system.

Can it be fixed... it's pretty annoying to see this continue..., strictly through Windows Update.

  • How to manually remove a program

    Hello

I got a program installed, but when pressing remove in Add/Remove Programs, it asked me to locate the uninstall.exe on some discs, I've ever had. I want to remove, so I deleted the program files, and that more som reg keys, for example the program in Add/Remove programs.

However, when I Desktop-> right click-> New, type the program file is still in the list. Is this some regkey that I missed? If so, do you recommend some reg cleaner, intended for maintenance manually. Or is it possible to perform searches in the keys using windows itself?

With the exception of reg keys and program files, the uninstall.exe manages some of the tips that I know?

Have a look here for instructions on how to remove the unwanted entry. Do not use a registry cleaner. It will not solve the problem, and it could cause serious damage.

Please use the Forum for answers!

I'm moving your post on Gaming forum where you'll find a community better suited to answer your question.

Some manufacturers may include third-party games when you buy a new computer, these will have to be uninstalled separate of Windows games. You should be able to uninstall most of the applications, including games, in the section programs and features in Control Panel.

To access the programs and features, click Start and select Control Panel. In Control Panel, click programs and then programs and features. Third-party software, select the application you want to uninstall, and then click Uninstall just above the list.

To uninstall the games provided by Windows Vista, go to programs and features, and then click Turn Windows Features On or Off in spots on the left. You may be prompted for an administrator password or to continue. It can take a bit of the screen of Windows features to complete loading. In the Windows features page, clear the check box next to games and click OK. Windows may ask you to reboot after it's finished work.
