How to manually uninstall ODAC?

Hello

I tried to get oracle to work with ODAC 12 beta 2. It made me install different versions of the ODAC. Somewhere along the line, I did something wrong and now I can not uninstall or install new versions. When I try to uninstall using the Universal Installer, it nothing happens when I click the button uninstall. And nothing happens when I click on the buttons of installed products.

Is it possible to manually remove it somehow?

See you soon

Peter

Steps to uninstall beta 2 are covered in the installation instructions: ODAC 12 c version 3 Beta 2 install Instructions

For previous versions of Oracle, you can use an older ODAC Installer.

If you want to uninstall manually, you can reverse engineer what the xcopy uninstall scripts don't. Simply open the command file to review the steps.

  • How to manually uninstall CS3 Master Collection?

I started to have problems with, then Premier Pro. The programs worked OK for a few years, but began to fail for some reason there is a few months.  When I run the Setup program to uninstall it starts OK showing a bar of progression, but after awhile, it will fail to progress and stops. I then tried the CS cleanup tool, but the increase in problems, so now I can not launch the installer at all, and I get a notification that my license is no longer valid. Seems I need to manually uninstall all CS3 programs (Master Collection).

I have a MacPro, version OSX 10.5.8 (Leopard), as I ve said that never versions of the operating system does not work well with CS3. (I also own worm 10.6). I ve long searched on the internet for a solution without beein able to solve it, so grateful for any help

I can't say that I have conclusive to offer help.  At some point a few years ago CS3 started to go flaky on me and eventually led to forbidding me to access all products that accompanies it, claiming that my license was not valid.

Here are a few notes that I threw down that served to help me... I can't say if they will be a help to you.

One thing that I found disturbing, it's that he mentioned no Adobe for CS3 support more at various locations along the line while trying to find a solution - which is difficult to accept that a default license would be ignored.  I think that the last piece of info that I show below refers to a person having found at Adobe who was willing to try to help despite this... but I managed to patch things up with the first bit of info, I have the list before this person back for me.

  • How can manual uninstall older versions of Acrobat Reader?

I recently upgraded from Windows 7 to Windows 10.  After meeting with sound problems, that Microsoft support has failed to solve, I returned to Windows 7.   Unfortunately, Acrobat Reader with automatically deleted in the process.   I am now having trouble to reinstall Acrobat Reader.   The installer downloads, but the installation stops and it is an error message reading: "the component you are trying to use is on a network unavailable resource."   Click OK to try again or enter another path to the folder containing the installation package "ArcoRead.msi" in the box below.

I think what I have to do is to make sure that all versions previous and their components have been removed.  How to do this manually?   Also Windows uninstaller fails to remove previous, perhaps damaged or incomplete versions.

  • How to manually uninstall the Toshiba Bluetooth Stack?

Hey there, I have a problem with uninstalling the Toshiba Bluetooth Stack v4.00.20 on my laptop Windows XP SP2. Whenever I choose to remove the "battery Bluetooth for Windows by Toshiba" (or "Bluetooth HID Switch Service") the installation program starts to prepare, but crashes after a few minutes - the only way to continue is to turn off the laptop. :(

The same thing happens when I try to update the stack to the latest version - the installer says that the old battery has to be removed first and crashes after trying to remove it. So is it possible to remove it by hand? I really don't want to reinstall Windows because of this.

The reason why I want to uninstall or update the stack is because my Jabra BT620s headset does not work with it. I can connect and use it as the headphones (the music quality is good enough), but I can't use the built-in microphone. It works with the Widcomm stack but with this one I have quality problems.

    Thanks in advance.

  • HP Deskjet e3520: manually uninstall Print Driver

    Hi all!

I got myself in quite the situation when I tried to clean up some temporary files and save space on my rather small SSD.  As such, I accidentally deleted the uninstall program for my HP print driver and now I can not uninstall the software, nor I can install newer software.  The software is looking for a file, DJ352x64.msi, located at AppData\Local\Temp\7zS0DDA, but there is obviously no because, well, I deleted it.

  • How do I manually uninstall or reinstall an application of Windows 8?

I downloaded the application Netflix for Windows 8.

The app seems to have been damaged during installation. When I click on the application, he launched the Store and not Netflix. When I right click on the application in the Start Menu, I did not uninstall option.
Is there a was to manually uninstall a Windows 8 Metro app or at least a way to reinstall a?
I restarted my computer; no effect.
    Thank you

    Hello

I just downloaded and installed the official version of Win8 Pro. I had this same problem with my app windows 8 SkyDrive that shows only a blue tile without a logo of SkyDrive. When you click on, as with the Netflix app above, opened the store and not the app.

I did not uninstall, but managed to reinstall via the store by opening the store goes in "Your App" by right click or by pressing win + z. there, I found the app to skydrive and clicked on it. A menu appears with the installation option. Click on that and it will take you to app skydrive page where it says "You own this app" at the top right, it should say skydrive installation (in my case)... I hope this works out for Netflix too. I have all the other apps Win8 themselves corrupt yet so this is my case only for reference.

Software to uninstall the program: the basics

Most OS X applications are completely independent "packages" that can be uninstalled by simply dragging the application to the trash.  Applications can create preferences files that are stored in the folder/Home/Library/Preferences /.  Although they do nothing once you remove the associated application, they take up little space.  If you want you can find them in the location above and delete them, too.

Some applications may install an uninstall program that can be used to remove the application.  In some cases, the uninstall program may be part of the installation of the application program and is called by clicking on a custom button that will appear during the installation process.

Some applications can install components in the Home/Library/Application Support / folder.  You can also check here to check if the application has created a folder.  You can also delete the folder that is located in the application Support folder.  Once again, they do nothing but take up disk space, once the application is trashed.

Some applications may install a startupitem, or Item Log In.  StartupItems are usually installed in the folder/Library/StartupItems/and less often in the folder/Home/Library/StartupItems /.  Journal items are defined in the preferences accounts.  Open system preferences, click accounts, and then click the login items tab.  Locate the item in the list for the application you want to remove and click on the "-" button to remove from the list.

Some software uses demons start or agents which are a new feature of the operating system.  Look for them in/library/LaunchAgents/Library/LaunchDaemons/or in/Home/Library/LaunchAgents /.

If an application installs all the other files that the best way to find them is to search for Finder using the name of the application or the name of developer as a search term.  Unfortunately, Spotlight look in certain default folders.  You can change the behavior of Spotlight or use a third-party, EasyFindsearch utility, instead.

Some applications install a reception in the folder/library/receipts /.  Usually with the same name as the program or the developer.  The element typically has an extension ".pkg".  Do not forget that you also remove this element because some programs use to determine if it is already installed.

There are a lot of utilities that can uninstall applications.  Here is a selection:

    1. AppZapper

    2. AppDelete

    3. PLC

    4. Hazel

    5. AppCleaner

    6. CleanApp
