  Well, the simplest thing would be to this point to simply move the images in the Finder to anywhere where you like and then start again with a new catalogue, but if you have a LOT of albums, what spoke to you (copy/move) is to move the pictures in offline or on a different hard drive. If you want to use the same catalog, you need to open the folder view and settle there.

  In the Organizer, go to view > folder view for an overview of your folders and drag the photos you want.

  You must understand that the Organizer is different from iphoto because it only keeps track of your photos - it do not make copies or store the fact iphoto library, so if you remove a photo from the hard disk through the organiser, it disappeared completely.
