  Look at your site settings...

  1. go to Site > Manage Sites, and then click the site that you are trying to work with

  2. click on edit

  3. under servers, click the remote server

  4. click on change

  6. under the root directory, make sure that you have one of the two /public_html/ or httpdocs / (call GoDaddy to check the type of server that you are using so that you get the right root)

  7. test the connection

  8. If it works, when you connect using the window files expanded (with the server on the files and from left to right) you should see a list of files, including your index.html, some GD files formmailer.php and missing.html page and all the rest of your current site files.

  9. If you see this list, click on Get and DW should prompt you with "Get entire site?

  10. click on Yes and the entire site will be downloaded to your machine. From there, open the file locally, edit and download

  Hello Michael,

  It seems that you don't have the original file to Muse on your computer. There may be a problem to load to the bottom of all sites (files) on your computer provided you own and if you have the data to the server of your service provider.

  In DW CC, you can open the .html and .css files.  Just go to Site > new Site and say DW where is the folder of the site on your local hard drive.

  GoLive was discontinued in 2008.  It is no longer supported by Adobe.

• How to open an existing model

  I set up a model for my wife, who is not as familiar with the Pages that I am. The only way I found to open an existing to a new document model is looking for help with 'new' or 'model', and then I see "New model selector" as a menu item.

  Is it possible to add to the menu in option directly? I put in place to open new documents as a blank template. I know that I could change it to always open the model selector, but since I use the Pages most of the time, it's a step I would avoid if possible.   You cannot create your own menu entries in any version of the Pages. It is show model selector, or force a model via the usage model feature - both in the Pages of preferences.

  Configure a user for your wife account. Launch Pages of his account signed in and set it to one of the above parameters Pages preferences that would benefit him. These settings would be unique to his account.

• How can I download my Muse site.

  Somehow my off line-saved copy of my Muse site got all blocked upward. In my saved copythe web pages is no longer to rely on the master page even if I saved the page I downloaded last via FTP and it is great online. I wonder if there is a way to import my muse site and see if this help? This could be a problem of Muse? should I remove muse and redownload it?

  It's not a way to import your site online in Muse (other than changes you make via BC BIE).

  If the pages do not seem to be inheriting the master page content, please check in outline view that you have the master page associated with the content through their context menu-> master pages.

  The one on your dock is an older version. The darker version of the Muse is the most recent version. Replace your icon on your dock by the most recent.

  Make a right click on a page reveals "page properties". Rightklick on an image reveals 'image properties '.

  I solved the problem in the meantime. Due to my lack of experience, it was not clear to me to remove the phone - + Tablet page layout and then add them again.

  Muse will immediately create new white pages equal number of the desktop version.

  Hi HeikeDN001,

  With the recent release of Muse CC there was a little problem with publication to business Catalyst Control Panel. It has been resolved locally and will be available in the next version of muse. For now, you can try a workaround to deal with the problem. You must use this workaround only once and then Muse will begin to function properly.

  • Create an empty site of Muse.
  • Publish it to BC with any name at random.
  • Once the new published file close and open your original file.
  • Now, try to publish your original file and you will be able to see all the options you could see as soon as possible.

  Let me know if that doesn't work for you.
