  Hi HeikeDN001,

  With the recent release of Muse CC there was a little problem with publication to business Catalyst Control Panel. It has been resolved locally and will be available in the next version of muse. For now, you can try a workaround to deal with the problem. You must use this workaround only once and then Muse will begin to function properly.

  • Create an empty site of Muse.
  • Publish it to BC with any name at random.
  • Once the new published file close and open your original file.
  • Now, try to publish your original file and you will be able to see all the options you could see as soon as possible.

  You will not be able to open and edit the HTML or any other file in Muse. Now Muse only supports the .muse extension created by Muse herself.

  Yes, you can go ahead and download the site created Muse in the same folder on the host.

  Please take a look at the link below which explains how to upload your site to a third party FTP host. You can select the option "Upload to FTP hosts" or "export to HTML".

  To answer the second part of you Question I suggest you get the root folder you empty host and then download your Muse site to avoid unexpected behavior. (Don't forget to bring back to the top of the file that you delete host)

  You can publish the new site as the catalyst for business trial. Once the site is ready to be powered, you can republish it to your existing URL via Muse itself.

  This will replace the current live site.

  In case you do not want to delete the current site online, you will need to remove the domain from the current site and add it to this site has been published.

  Unfortunately, this won't be possible. Adobe Muse currently does not support html/css/js file extensions, so that you cannot open these file types in Muse and cannot make any changes. It only supports the .muse currently created by Muse herself files.
