  There are two sets of buttons of toolbar tools for history and bookmarks in the palette to customize with the CTR extension installed. You need those without drop marker to open the sidebar.

  Additional information: there are 2 computers that I use on the first Gallery Photo of Windows will open the image and allow me to use the left and right buttons to scroll through the rest of the photos in the folder, that's what I want.

  This would happen if the file associations are corrupted on the computer, try method to set Photo Gallery Windows as the default program for opening files jpeg or png below image types.

  (a) open default programs by clicking the Start button, click default programs.

  (b) click on associate a type of file or Protocol with a program

  (c) in the following list of file protocol search jpeg and make sure that you have associated with the program that uses it and then check if it works.

  If you are using Internet explorer, I suggest you to follow these steps to turn on the AutoComplete feature and check if it helps:

  (a) open Internet Explorer.

• Help! How to open the PSE 7 without opening catalog

  Tried to migrate from PSE 7 to 9 of PSE. After conversion the catalogue that the browser seems to open normally, but breaks down in seconds. Called the helpline to Adobe, they come to the conclusion that the catalog is corrupt, but the catalog worked normally in PSE 7. Since the catalog has been transformed, it cannot open more in PSE 7. I was happy to have made a return to the top, but if I want to restore back to the top, PSE 7 automatically opens the catalog - convert / corrupted - old and... crashes. Anyone within Adobe thought to the possibility of opening the software without automatically, open the catalog. Seems particularly useful in such circumstances.

  I tried to open and at the same time helding ALT + SHIFT + CTRL keys but that does not work.

  First of all I d to migrate with my old catalog of PES 9, but at least I would still be able to open my old catalog (backup version) in PSE 7.

  OK, you renamed the catalog of BU, which makes no difference.  Have you looked at the folder, in which the converted catalog would be created?  It is in C:\ProgramData\Adobe\Elements Organizer\Catalogs. What records are listed here (catalog My, My Catalog1 and such)?   Or something strange?  Perhaps you could rename/delete one or all the people and try to restart the conversion.

  Now, I closed "Adobe Application Manager" and reopened "Photoshop" and again selected "updates... " on the Help menu.  The "Adobe Application Manager" opened again with just a window this time and the updates happened correctly.

  I was hoping a updates would be the "Adobe Application Manager", I don't think so.

  So, if I were you I would not select "Updates."... "in an Adobe application unless the " Adobe Application Manager " is closed until they fix IT...

  Current version: Adobe® Application Manager - Version 7.0.0.128 (7.0.0.128) notes the two windows in the "Adobe Application Manager" in the attached image.

  
  

  If you read my entire post you would have seen that after closeing "Adobe Application Manager" updates completed normally next time I chose "updates... "in the Help menu in Photoshop.
