  That is not how it works.

  HR starts by including all subjects in a build. The fact that a subject is not in the table of contents does not necessarily mean that the author doesn't want in the project, so includes it HR. In the same way, a topic that is not indexed gets included. I want that all my subjects but I want that all the indexed.

  To exclude topics you use conditional tags build and build Expressions. Say so you released has and output B and the two are mutually exclusive.   I created a few dynamic movieclips.

  When I click and hold on one of them, I want another library bound MC to appear and the new MC must be movable.

  I can do the new MC appear, and I can make it draggable.  However, I am a bit lost when it comes to tell Flash to forget the old clip and make the new one "online".

  In other words - after a click-hold, I want the new movieclip to be mobile without the user to mouse to the top and then click on new.

  If you are using AS3, when you click down to just create the new instance, preferably directly aligned to the top of the object you clicked on to the bottom, then use startDrag (false) on it. Something like...

  New here, but I hope someone can help me with a few questions, I'll have with Audition 3.

  Firstly, some background questions.

  I use hearing parallel to a broadcast audio broadcast program called SpotOn,

  This software requires that I run the sound card, a RME Madiface XT in 48 k mode, and that all the outputs that it uses are defined as WDM Windows so that the windows kernel mixer can control them.

  This means that when I use the hearing at the same time, I have to configure it to use the "Audition 3.0 Windows Audio" driver to stop him from taking control of the sound card directly and change setting which prevent SpotOn to see its output.

  The problems I encounter are that hearing itself seems to randomly change mode in the edit window ASIO driver, I suspect that this happens when I import audio data from a key which is from 44.1 to modify for use in SpotOn. This often seems to not only make the outputs of the card its invisible to the windows kernel mixer but also change the sampling frequency of 44.1 sound card and stops work SpotOn.

  The second question I have is that the sampling frequency of default record when I record in edit mode is always 44.1 and if used it again change the map sound 44.1 and causes the same problems, I'd be very keen to know how to change this default to be 48 k if possible.

  Then.

  What I ultimatly looking is...

  1. a way to disable the ASIO drivers in hearing so that it is not only this option is available, and cannot use the Audition 3.0 Windows Sound Drivers.

  2. a way to make the sampling rate 48 k to stop people choosing 44.1 mistakenly when saving default record.

  Any help or advice that anyone can give would be much appreciated.

  What other pilots ASIO sees your installation of 3 AA? If it's the Madiface one and you use only WDM drivers you can just uninstall the ASIO RME driver?

• How to prevent echo over the noise reduction

  I had a dickens of a time trying to find how to reduce the echo that remains after the removal of the background noise. However, I do not give to the top and after playing with some of the settings, I believe that I thought about it! I use Adobe Audition CC (6.0). You'll want to follow the steps below as a means of noise reduction, not after it. So we prevent the echo over the noise removal, do not get rid of it... if that makes sense. Then, start with your original audio with noise, then...

  1. Perform normal selection of background noise and sampling procedures, it (SHIFT + P)
  2. Select all audio data (CTRL + A).
  3. Prepare to apply the noise reduction: Effects > restoration/noise reduction > noise (process) or CTRL + SHIFT + P
  4. In the window that appears, I played a bit with the three parameters (see image below):
     • (85%) noise reduction slider
     • Reduce by slider (approximately 40 dB)
     • In the "Advanced" section (you may need to click on the small triangle/arrow to decompress), the spectral decomposition rate (10%). It is this final setting that makes a HUGE difference!
  5. Put audio on the loop if it is a small clip and click the play button to hear a sample of the noise reduction applied.
  6. Adjust the three above mentioned settings until you get the desired effect.
  7. Click 'apply '.

  Can I make a suggestion?  Although you're experiences were useful, trying to find a unique size of the entire solution "one pass" probably doesn't give the best results.  Basically, if you hear NR artifacts (the quality that you are referring to) any point you made too much noise reduction only once.

  As a general rule, you're better off doing 3 or 4 passes the very slight noise reduction, entering a new sample of noise each time.  For most 'normal' noise, it can also be very useful to increase the size of the FFT (in the Advanced menu) a parameter preset or so before grabbing each of these sequential noise samples.
