  When you try to install with the CD, try installing the latest Windows 7 driver from the HP website. Restart the computer, turn off the printer, then reboot your router and then launch the installation. Here is a direct link to the driver file:

  Select the connection Wireless option during installation to get the printer on the network and associated with the laptop. Let me know if this helped at all...

  I might be able to help him, but it's not really something HP is supported. I found a video that asks you to remove Softonic, as well as a link with the following instructions to help you reset Internet Explorer. I think that might help.

  Here is a link to the user manual. To get the possibility to enlarge the copies, press this option on the display of the printer, then tap SETTINGS and then select resize, use the right arrow key to scroll through the sizing options on the printer. Changing the settings of copy is covered on page 59 and 60 in the manual. I hope this helps.

  Thank you for posting your solution you found yourself, on the use of the scanning function on your HP OfficeJet Pro 8600. I apologize as we were not fast enough to answer one of your questions on the Forums of HP Support. I've been able to check your user page but could not find your original post on us asking how Scan, did you remove the question? Anyway I'm glad you are now to the top and scanning of your JO 8600.

  For later use, I would like to you to take a look here: how Scan: Windows 7, here we will give all the options and shortcuts on scanning with or without the HP software as well as a few cool features, like the scan from the front panel of your 8600 and adding several pages in a single file.

  If you have the software installed on your computer, you should have the 8600 Fax Driver installed. That will allow you to send to multiple recipients without having to print a physical page. Everything you have to do is the printer using the program on the fax driver, and it will appear a window asking for the numbers you want to send the fax to. The document linked below will on other ways that you can fax without using the software. I think that the Fax issue will be what you are looking for. The document will explain more.
