  Trying to help a friend. She has an HP printer and used HP Photo Creator.
  
  However, the program (with his help) has managed to convert all files on several DVD into JPG files that cannot be opened by using the Photo Creator software. Other programs refuse to open the files, saying they are invalid or damaged. Yet HP Photo Creator opens fine.

  She requested that its JPGs to be accessible using any image look a program (this seems reasonable).

• If I remove photos of iPhotos and I have already transferred the photos to a file in my documents, photos will always be there?

  Once exported, they have no connection with iPhoto, then Yes, they will always be there. A simple test or error with another unimportant this will confirm for you.

  I think you do have many copies of the photos...
  the applications in question followed folder (see) the "my images".

  On my XP system... If I have pictures of 101 or more in the
  My Pictures folder... they are no longer considered by the Bureau
  Wallpaper selection.

  For the screen saver 'My images' slideshow... can you left
  Click on the settings button and choose any folder of your choice.

  Or... you can just stop apps from finding photos
  moving them out of the folder my pictures.

  You can resize an image using the Image > resize > resize the Image. Check resample image and desired size of dimension or document pixel and percentage (%) to resize the document.   When I try to "copy" a logo of a file and 'paste' in a different illustrator file where is my label, it becomes too big, because the size is a different percentage in each file, I think. So is there a way to fix this without using free transform. Because then the strokes become thicker and when you click on the letters, it is not click the letter - it snaps when the letter would be if it was great. Help. Im a student.

  Select the object from the Toolbox, select the tool balance, Opt (Alt) - click where you want the transformation to happen. In the dialog box, choose how you want the object to scale and make sure the box at the bottom of the dialog box that says STROKE & scale effect.

  The photos on it files external disk in files and folders image or are they in a library of photos - iPhoto library or an Aperture library?

  If the photos are images in files and folders, use the "Import files" command in Photos and select the folder containing the pictures on the external hard drive in the file selector Panel.

  I have a little problem with the generation of a PDF file. First my Workflow:

  I have an InDesign document with 6 pages. This document is merged with a databasefile containing 100 records. After it is merged, we need to generate a PDF file. This PDF file is opened in acrobat. In the document, I am looking for one ID for each record so I can split the document to 100 files (each with 6 pages) and name by the ID that I found.

  The Acrobat script is finished and functional. I thought: the InDesign script is over, too. But I was wrong-. -.

  I merged the databasefile with the document and it has exported to PDF. But after export, we noticed that the Acrobat script isn't finding the adressheader where ID is in. The script only noticed the text after this header. The result is, as get-Acrobat always 'null' as ID

  If print us the PDF with our PDFprinter, the header could be read by our script of Acrobat. I don't know why this is... But now, I changed the script to print the files through our PDF printer. Unfortunately I can not set a name for my exported file - do you know if it is possible to print PDF files without asking for confirmation after each other as well as with a via script name?

  Here you can see the old writing for InDesign and after her, the sript Acrobat. Maybe I made a mistake by generating my PDFexport and have no need to use the printer?

  The photos full size will always go to the cloud. They also remain on (or download) your Mac depends on if 'Download this Mac originals' or 'Optimize Mac storage' is ticked in Photos > Preferences > iCloud. If it is enabled, it also depends on how much storage is available on your Mac.

• Check out the Photos (target disk mode) files

  Unfortunately, it seems that my iMac is damaged and I am in the middle of the tent back up all my files. The iMac won't boot to the top, and it looks like it might be a problem with the graphics card or the logic board. I can access Mode without failure, but it's pretty unusable due to the fragmented picture and lines on the screen. However, I was able to use the iMac with "Target disk Mode" for use as a hard disk.

  So, as I can not open the Photos app I was wondering how I can recover the files it contains? If I copy my file from the library on another computer I will be able to use / access that previous files I had saved in Photos? My understanding is that the files are stored somewhere in the library? I do not use iCloud!

  Most of the things I want to back up are in the files that I can just slide through a macbook via firewire, but I worry about what the other files I might lose (what I forget). Pictures is the only app I can think where are stored the files differently I use however.

  Usually Yes

  The best solution is to restore you last backup to another computer, since it is a full disc and not affected by problems with your main computer - this is why you should always have a good current backup

  If for some reason that doesn't work then just drag the photo library to the other computer and save it to the top of there

  Extract the files is a last resort because you lose everything except the original photos - all editing, any organization, etc - your original photos are in the folder of the masters in the photo library

• I get error messages when you try to edit or print some of my photos. "Unable to open the photos with the unavailable original files."  Some have been transferred from iPhoto, and some have been rewritten in photoshop elements. Any thoughts?

  Pictures needs the original image file. This is to show you a preview in the browser, but to edit or export the photo of the original, file full resolution must be found.

  What's happened before the photos have disappeared?  Photos crashed? You run an application to remove duplicates or to clean your Mac?  You have restored the library from a backup?

  What version of Mac OS X you are running?

• CameraZoom FX does not seem to be save the photos full size, only photos

  Someone else there to help that this program also had the same issue? I took over 100 pictures today for work and when I was getting ready photos on my work PC that the images were not in the folder dcim on the SD card. They were, however, in the folder DCIM (thumbnails).

  The thumbnails are ok I guess, but the pictures are much smaller and greatly diminished quality.

  By default, Camera Zoom FX stores the photo files in the internal phone storage in the "Zoom Camera" folder. If you want the files in a different folder, you can specify in settings under then save camera folder.

  Check the "Zoom Camera" folder and your pictures should be there in full screen.
