  I can create a static title without any problems and as well to animate it.  My challenge is that I don't know how the first manages text effects.  I can't understand how to do something as simple as have several bullet point text dissolve of lines on the screen in the order. I use a few "Pro-sumer" software video editing with all sorts of creative text effects.  But, I get more large projects that require more sophisticated tools, so I jumped on the first.  I watched all the videos on the web "creation of text"... impossible to find something on this topic to the Prime Minister.  Help, please!

  Meg answer is technically correct, but a lot of your time, especially if you have to re-do something later.

  When I have the multiline text that I don't want to animate with After Effects, I create text on a title, and then I copy and paste from there to place its own title of each line of text.

  Then I put all these titles on the timeline, stacked in layers, one over the other.

  From there, I can change the time where each line of text within the framework. I can use normal transitions to do this, wipe, dissolve, or push. My most recent favorite is IMPACT PUSH, which you can get for free, here: https://www.filmimpact.net/plugin/transition-pack-1/

  Indeed, After Effects is the best option by far, if you want to do anything fancy or cool.

  I need to "BOLD" certain positions and instead of choosing one, then formatting, and then by selecting another, formatting, etc... is there a way to select/highlight several lines of text and apply formatting to each of them at the same time? The sections are separated by other lines of text, they are not continuous.

  You will need two calls drawText, each following a call setColor for the font you want for this particular piece color.

  In order to calculate the offset x from the second drawText compared to the first, use font.getAdvance (firstString) (where the police is your graphic police present, accessible via graphics.getFont ()).

  Use simple methods and you will get your results faster.

  I think you need to learn how * write * FxPlug effects plugins. You cannot add these labels/buttons on the move as it is. What I usually do, is create a platform > pop up widget and use remove the "Snapshot" texts... "(and usually replace it with a series of quadratins (---) to create a line of separation.) To help you, you must have a 'sex' you can show/hide with opacity (and a rig box) which displays the help text.

  As far as I know - no, its impossible.

  Otherwise, you don't need to put 20 reading OCR instances on the BD - you can do it with ' loop for "with 20 iterations.

  I just changed an Illustrator file that a designer of course put in place and it has set up so that there are several lines in a column of text that are related to some how while the first line of text can be changed and the rest will change with him. How configure you it to do this?

  Actually, I need to know how to basically set a text box created, then copied it 10 times in a column, but the top text field can be edited. When the top is changed it automatically changes all other lines as well at the same time. Thank you for getting back to me well. I thought about it.

  Basically, what you have to do is create your initial text field. With the text box selected, you go to your panel of skins and click the effects at the bottom of the Panel and choose deformation & transform > transform. Then in the transformation dialog box you choose how the copied text boxes to move (left or right), and then how many copies you would and press copy. All you have to do is change the text box, and each of them will change at the same time.

  This is actually a pretty neat feature and will allow me to save a lot of time when setting up projects.

• How to read a text file with line breaks

  I'm reading a text file in a textFrame.  We read in, but does not include line breaks is just a big long line of text.  I use the following code to read the file.  I tried to insert a \n character after each readln() but that has not helped.  I also tried to create a variable that the readln() was crammed in before setting the textFrame.contents variable, but which does not work either. I'm puzzled. Any help would be appreciated, thanks.
